41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 09, 2015, 07:49:24 PM
My strategy is if you get profit,
let's take it and withdraw it  Grin

This strategy only works when you win in the first few rounds. If you lose first, will you continue playing. When gambler loses first, he would prefer to gamble again, ending losing more.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 09, 2015, 07:46:08 PM
I hope the increase picks up again. I was pretty devastated when it dipped down below 400 again.

Are you devastated? How can that be! Did you buy when the price was over $500? The consolidation below $400 is fine. The price has risen too fast recently. It needs breathing.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: November 09, 2015, 07:42:57 PM
My best earning from gambling is 0.2 BTC
That is from zero, I collect 0.002 BTC and gamble it.
 Cheesy

That is quite interesting. Where did you collect the 0.002 BTC? Is that from a one time gambling or from several days? What is your long term performance?
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: November 08, 2015, 07:05:57 PM
I will spend my bitcoin on a new computer Grin and buying digital goods like games. I'm waiting for christmas sale to buy a cheap game.

Most of the online shops which accept bitcoin are retailers of electrical goods. I bought a few mother boards and memory chips from those shops. It is quite fast process, very smooth.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 08, 2015, 07:02:09 PM
I think gambling is in our nature. We have gambling and games since ancient history. The concept changes, some have more luck and risk involved others don't, but it's part of the human nature to play and gamble. So gamble will always exist and is not to save us from working. Even if you are incredibly rich you are likely to gamble from time to time.

Gambling, or the urge to win is in our blood. We are lucky that we have gambling as a game. So we are not like some animals which kill to win. Gambling is also fun in some occasions. As long as we do not gamble with all our belongs, it is OK to do it.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: November 08, 2015, 06:59:45 PM
Sometime I play it, but I always lose my btc  Roll Eyes

Because in lottery you need to be very lucky to win money. There are many people who buy these lotteries and only few people will win so probability of winning lottery is very small. So when you buy lottery don't buy to win instead just buy couple of them once in awhile to check your luck.

The probability of win lottery is small, usually less than 40% which is payout ratio. So players as a whole are gurranteed to lose. Some online dice games are much fairer with house edge of 1.5%. You can play these game for a long time. Although most of us lose eventually.,
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: November 08, 2015, 08:42:02 AM
I will save bitcoin for the rainy days. I will spend the rest on anything which can be purchased by bitcoin.

I shall spend the coins on grocery, electrical goods and other services. I would like to be paid in bitcoin as well.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: November 08, 2015, 08:39:06 AM
At the speed of recent price rise, the price of bitcoin will be around 50-80k by 2020. So with 100 bitcoin, you will be a multi millionaire.

Over the past 10 days BTC/USD (on Bitstamp) has risen on average by 2.3% per day. If (and obviously that's a big-unlikely-if) that rate  is maintained we'll reach $80k in 239 days - late June 2016.

OK, the price is around $380 now. It seems the 2.3% rise per day is not sustainable.

Even if the weekly rise is 2.3%, the yearly rise is 226% or 326% of the original investment. That is still very good. In 5 years, the price will be over $120k.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 08, 2015, 08:34:13 AM
if I have a lot of bitcoin, I would hold it until the price reaches $ 500

Are you going to sell at $500? If the price drop to $400, will you buy it back?

If the price continue to rise above $600, what will you do with the sales proceeds from the $500 selling? Are you going to buy back when the price is higher?
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 08, 2015, 08:31:15 AM
I do not have good a strategy, i play so simple
if I have BTC0.05 I will all in loss or profit. just that.
High risk high return.

In dice game, there is no good strategy. It is all random, with the house edge on top of it. You win this time, you lose next time. Some of the gamblers will win big once, but if he continue to play, he will lose eventually.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 08, 2015, 08:26:46 AM
WTB custom ETHMINER for R9 Fury X

PM me how much MHs is expected with R9 Fury X and the price you are asking for the miner.

Where did you hear the existence of custom Ethminer for R9 Fury X? I do not think there is one. The existing Ethminer is not efficient for R9 Fury. It is based on 280x. It is most efficient with 280x or 7970,7950.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting a living from Gmabling alone is possible? on: November 07, 2015, 08:43:44 AM
I think it's possible to make a living, although it depends on how you want to make that living. If you want to win it in multiple bets, it's pretty hard. If your betting on sports, add long as you know your teams and you have deep pockets, you can. You can also make millions in a single dice roll on a dice site, if you're lucky. And by that I mean really lucky. And by that I mean REALLY lucky.

For most people, it is impossible to make a living from gambling. Even for sports betting, at least 50% of the gamblers will lose.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: November 07, 2015, 08:39:17 AM
I earned nothing from gambling. I just gamble for fun. The lost money is very small amount, so does not affect my life.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 07, 2015, 08:35:13 AM
Gambling is a good way to redistribute social wealth, it is like tax, but voluntary. Tax is mandatory, so many people do not like it.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much gambling will impact on full time gamblers family? on: November 07, 2015, 08:26:06 AM
there's a lot of gambler who lost their family. i mean, their family dont want to live with gambler. Because if the gambler, gamble a lotsn then the gambler families doesnt eat anything. car and house were sold,to pay all the dept because of gambling. thats is what happen in my country.

If you gamble with a very small proportion of your disposable income, it is OK to gamble as it is just like buying some expensive goods.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: November 07, 2015, 08:23:37 AM
I doubt you will be able to retire with 2 million dollars in 20 years.  And since you are keeping 50% you are trying to retire off of 1million dollars.  Good luck with that.    I am not saying 100,000 Bitcoin is not possible.  I just don't think we will see it in 20 years.

If bitcoin is still there in 20 years, it will be very big. It could be the first or second largest reserve currency. So $100k per bitcoin is possible.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 06, 2015, 06:12:41 PM
Last time I bet on <33 with a bot with just a start roll of 0.005 and after it hits a 25 bad streak, I deposit bigger and bet bigger and till now I made some nice profits with this.

Good to see you can recover your previous lose and get some profit. But bear in mind that you were just so lucky, so its better to stop for a while or even dont play again and enjoy your profit. Dont be greedy just because you are in profit now. Smiley

If you win something, then stop the gambling. Wait for some time, then bet again. If you do it for long, you could win.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling a five months target at $211 - next prediction on page 6 :) on: November 06, 2015, 06:02:56 PM
My "ideal" scenario for the end of the year: bull run stopping around 700 or below near the end of November, then consolidation around 450-500.
This would leave a nice upward potential for 2016.

The alternative would be to overshoot and reach (maybe beat) the ATH, but then it would likely be followed by a long and boring consolidation... until things become lively again near the halving.

I like the first scenario, we need consolidation. If the price stay below $500 for about a month, that is good for the future price appreciation.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much gambling will impact on full time gamblers family? on: November 04, 2015, 07:48:05 PM
For an addicted gambler, when he gambles, he will not think of anything else, including family. He will concentrate on gambling only.

http://worldbitcoinnetwork.com/BitcoinPriceModel-Alpha.html

On this website you can play a bit around to figure out how much 1 Bitcoin theoretically could be worth in presented key markets.
Nice tool to get an impression what could be possible concerning Bitcoin's value.

I maximize all the options on the top panel, the bitcoin price is $141k. This is quite realistic value.

The value is lower than some other predictions though.
