I0coin is back online at Cryptopia. I believe they reverted back to the 0.8.x wallet for now. We'll continue to look into the issue with the new wallet.
Yup, my missing coins appeared also

Wallet fixed. Had to redownload the blockchain again in order to get it working though Strange, cos the older wallet worked fine..... More cheap coins coming soon......

I don't use your nodes, but I applaud what you're doing with donations to miners who are. If more nodes done this it would surely attract more miners to p2pool. Well done

Looks like people are bored & dumping - CRW is crashing hard on C-cex....... Dev - if you want this coin to succeed, you need to generate some interest & build the community - get people involved. Or is that you dumping?

Any update on this problem? My coins are still missing & Cryptopia are a bit too quiet for comfort........

Well, an advantage of having a low hash rate is the nice, big, juicy block! payouts Yes, it just sucks if it takes you a long time to submit an accepted share and then your work falls off the chain and you never receive anything. Amen to that.

I'm getting tired of this kinder garden playground posts. Will remove posts tomorrow.
Please start of all posts from not nice Dogie's posts. While he is wasting his money and sue us, I'm not going to engage him or touch his posts. Let him dig his own hole. TBH I don't see any of his (or his sidekicks) posts thanks to the ignore button, but it does make the thread untidy & difficult to have any meaningful conversation when faced with a wall of red "this user is ignored" text amongst the intelligent conversation/questions. Moderators should move their spam to the scam section where it belongs & as forum rules require, but in the meantime I suggest thread readers report them as off-topic spam & click the ignore button if Spondoolies don't want to delete them.

Copy/paste: Antpool..... Why on earth would the farm that produces the most empty blocks care about block size? Empty blocks are empty blocks, no matter what size they are. Not only that, but they provide absolutely zero customer support to anyone daft enough to mine there. Their code is shoddy, buggy & unreliable - just look at their so-called "support" thread - it's abysmal. They don't care about Bitcoin, it's users or the network as a whole - all they care about is ripping off for profit & taking control of the Bitcoin network.

Does anyone know where we can get hold of the developer, We have compile the new i0coin wallet on the exchange but it seems to have in issue with RPC binding Binding RPC on address 0.0.0.0 port 7000 failed. Everything works fine until re try add an ip via rpcallowip, soon as we add an ip we get the following error message, changing the port is fine Or if anyone has a link to the old version source cone we can reinstall the old wallet Thanks If I remember correctly, this branch connects to both old & new clients, v11.9.9: https://github.com/domob1812/i0coin/tree/temporarygit clone -b temporary https://github.com/domob1812/i0coin.git Or use: git clone -b old-client https://github.com/domob1812/i0coin.git ..for the older version.

a shame so little hash power on p2pool
Indeed - & my server just suffered a catastrophic failure & went down. I'm not sure if it's the mobo or SSD yet, looks like my Sunday will be spent knee-deep in parts while I search for the problem. Great! Been back online after replacing a fried mobo for a couple of days now I decided to pull the latest Bitcoin version from git instead of using the v11.2 - what a difference! My Bitcoind GetBlockTemplate Latency has dropped dramatically from ~1-2.5 secs back down to a steady 0.25 secs using the same conf file as v11.2. Whatever they fixed - it works a treat Highly recommend the latest version from git to eveyone. { "version": 129900, "protocolversion": 70012, "blocks": 395494, "timeoffset": 2, "connections": 14, "proxy": "", "difficulty": 120033340651.237, "testnet": false, "paytxfee": 0.00000000, "relayfee": 0.00001000, "errors": "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications, blah, blah......" }

Looks like invisible dev has removed merge mining capability & forked the coin in the process - meaning everyones previously mined coins are worthless. I can't even dump my old coins on yobit because the wallet is in "maintainance" What a mess. Moral of the story: Never trust a new coin from a noob account.

Hello everyone,
I'm currently looking for a new hosting service for a few S7's in the EU/Iceland & was wondering if anyone can post any recommendations or feedback on their experiences. Obviously costs are of major importance, but just as important to me is customer service/connectivity.
Thanks in advance.

I was looking for that post but couldn't remember where I had read it - thanks -ck!

It was just an attempt by Bitmain to jump on the decentralisation bandwagon, when in fact the complete opposite was true.
It ended up being pure marketing hype that Bitmain ended up milking long after they had been called out on it... The worst thing is they continue to lie about it in their OP - I've posted requests for moderators to force them to change their OP on several occasions, but they've been ignored. Why, I just don't know.

It isn't. It has never worked. It's not & never was part of the p2pool framework or sharechain. It was an attempt to hijack p2pool that failed. It is a lie.
Having just read through the code checked in to github; I'm not so sure.... I probably missed it but the changes all seem to be 'above board' in that they: * Added database logging of shares * Added user authentication And not a lot else.... is it possible they crippled their nodes by simply denying them access to other nodes outside of their own domain; either by purposely configuring firewalls to do so or simply not configuring their firewalls correctly ? Has anyone tried connecting to their p2pool server using the -n option ? Have a read of the thread from the beginning, particularly this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855548.msg9519703#msg9519703I read through it a couple of times when I was looking for the best pool option for me before opting for p2pool (the real one), it really put me off Bitmain tbh - especially the posts from that dogie guy who worked for Bitmain at the time, he didn't have a clue about the workings of p2pool, neither did anyone else at Bitmain as it turned out. It was just an attempt by Bitmain to jump on the decentralisation bandwagon, when in fact the complete opposite was true.
