Yesterday's Slovakia Germany game was such roller coaster with ups and downs from both teams and Germany won 4:6. In 3 periods and overtime between Finland and Czech Republic we didn't saw any goals, so, game went to penalties were Czech Republic won. In regular time there was strange moment when Czech goal was cancelled after coach's challenge. For me it looked like good goal. 6 games today, 2 already started. And I think I am seeing Poland on such high level of competitors for the firs time.
They were in top division, but it was very long time ago. In recent years their level incressed a lot, but not sure that it will be enough to stay in top division. |

Maybe we check stats on different websites, but I see that both teams had xG a bit over 1 and Olympiacos have even slightly higher numbers. But in general, difficult to explaing what happened for Aston villa there. Not talking about 2nd game as it was already outcome of 1st leg. And that early Olympiacos goal answered all questions. Ukraine is trying to produce as much military equipment as they can as they don't want depend onsupply from West fully. Like in cases that they had when supply from USA stopped. Drones, some missiles, Bohdana howitzers and etc is produced in Ukraine. And Ukraine made drones and missiles are being used to hit targets in Russia as most West counntries don't allow to use their weapons to hit targets outside Ukraine. I guess that even if complete blackout will happen, it won't stop Ukraine's military industry. They would solutions how not to stop it, like for example switching to diesel generators. |

First semifinal for there was a bit too much freaks and not that much music. But I'm satisfied with results and also that my country got into final too.
Have no favorites for second semifinal and struggled to decide what bets to make. So, made one random bet Estonia and Belgium to reach final @1.65. Also, it will be interesting to watch how audience will react to Israel performance.

It’s sad that many Bayern fans are caught up in that episode with the premature whistle (by the way, wasn’t there an offside? Even though the linesman raised the flag too early, he did everything right) and even Tuchel and some of the Bayern management blame the referees. I think they should save face and not be embarrassed by such things. In terms of expected goals, the game result is 3.29 versus 0.41 in favor of Real. Do Bayern really believe they deserve to reach the final or at least extra time? And yes, I know that in the PSG-Dortmund pair it was the other way around, but Dortmund went on, but I didn’t see PSG players disgracing themselves with any unfounded claims.
I don't agree with you. Yes, linesman did everything right by raising flag, but main referee didn't had to blow whistle and had to let play until end. We have VAR nd when we have such close moments, referees have to let play it until end and then check replay. Not sure it was offside or no, it's 50/50 call and without lines from VAR replay you can't know. And it's not even about xG stats or deserving to reach final or extra time. It's only about being consistent with rules. Now another Real CL campaign is marked with contraversy. |

We made it! It was a really tough match for us though. We could have finished this without OT actually. Wilbekin used that chance really poorly. But in the last moments of OT, Calathes took a big responsibility and single-handedly brought the win to us. First a 3-pointer and later a critical steal by him. Now we are going to Final Four and our next opponent is Panathinaikos. There is a familiar name there who is their coach Ergin Ataman. By the way there is an interesting statistics. Fenerbahçe have become the first team to win away in Game 5 and reach Final Four by this way in the current system. Congrats, mate! What a game. Similar like in yesterday's game I think that both teams is worth to play in Final 4, but someone have to lose and winner was decided in small details. As said few posts above, I had a feeling that Fenerbahche can become first team to win Game 5 away. And damn, Calathes, such clutch play, especially missing many 3-pointers before. Now I just feel sad for Mike James. One of best Euroleague players is still without trophy and at his age, nobody knows how many chances he will have.

I wouldn't say that only newbies is getting attacked. Often it doesn't depends on ranking, it's more about actions. And often things doesn't happens without any reason.
But in general, newbies is easy target. Put yourself in shoes of old member. You're here for like 8 years and all this time you can see same kind of questions. You get tired to repeat same stuff and you don't understand why they simply can't use search. Then you put your anger on newbie. Not saying that's right thing, but it happens. This is how internet works, it's not always easy here for sensitive people.

Panathinaikos returns to Final 4 after 12 years. You shouldn't expect beautiful basketball in such kind of games and as expected it was defensive game. But what we saw in 4th quarter, Panathinaikos completely locked Maccabi, they even struggled to make normal attack. Great series, respect to Maccabi, but someone has to lose there. And after game in OAKA it looked that Panathinaikos already won Euroleague already.

Interesting face that so far in Euroleague history there was 19 Game 5 andso far all decisive games were won by home teams. Now I have feeling that new history will be written. And if I have to guess, I think that Fenerbahche will make it against Monaco.

A little bit off topic, but I just read the Kremlin has started to recruit people fromm una in order to keep the war going in the eastern front. Specifically, people from Cuba (where minimum wage is less than 30$) is being kured through internet to join the Russian army in exchange of a salary of 2000$ and the possibility to apply for Russian nationality.
I had heard Ukraine was alledgely running out of people to fight the war, but I did not expect something similar could be happening in Russia.
Obviously, It has been already proven an important percentage of Russians are not willing to get in the front, otherwise many young men would have not fled the country as they did at the beginning of the conflict.
Regardless of what it is actually going on, I doubt those cuban men are fully aware of what they are getting themselves into, though, I would not judge them if they monthly payment in their island is less than what anyone of us would easily spend for dinner.
I think it's nothing new here. Already in first year of war we saw people mainly from Nepal, some African countries fighting for Russia. I don't think Russia is hiring them because they're running out of people. It's more just a way to get some cheap meat. And now it doesn't looks that number of such mercenaries is very significant. |

The problem with Piastri was with the hard tires,they were not as good as the medium for him while for Lando in both cases,medium tires he was doing fast lap after fast lap and we saw that when he was told to get Sainz and he truly got him,he just got more than 3.6 seconds from Ferrari in just a couple of laps,the same story with the hard tires he was driving brilliantly and managed to put a big gap to Verstappen. In this race I can't say my favorite phrase that Perez is the most mediocre driver as the Redbull car was not delivering during yesterday race so nothing to say against him for me in this race  . Norris was lucky not only because of safety car pit stop that he made - there was also error from safety car - they catched not race leader Norris, but Verstappen and then they had to fix this mistake. So, Norris got over 30 seconds advantage instead of 18. Anyway, still happy for him, wait for his first win was way too long. Even Verstappen looked happy for him. Don't want to critisize Perez much, but his mistake in 1st turn after start ruined him whole race. Congrats to LTU_btc for winning the Miami Grand Prix Yellow Cap @ Superbru

My faith also is going to be decided on F1. Now leading 3:2 and worst what can happen for me is draw. So, now only option that doesn't fits for me is 43 and more and I'm glad that I won't have to root for Ferrari
Looked at questions and there is no point to wait until deadline because there is no questions which will settle before it. But as usual, going to submit it on Monday. Now going to watch F1 and then straight to bed. |
