Wow, Nordsjaelland (almost broke my keyboard typing it) crushed Partizan 5:0. That's really painful, I'm looking at Partizan results and seems that it was one of the most painful defeats in more than 20 years.
Fenerbahche 5:1 Twente and before game I thought that's more or less equal teams. Didn't saw game, so, when I noticed results I thought that my eyes is lying. Watched Dynamo Kyiv - Besiktas game, it was fun, real roller coaster with goal on 95th minute Besiktas goal that let them to win game. Turkish clubs is looking so powerful in Europe this season.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: August 25, 2023, 09:18:31 PM
We can say that there were no surprises in the Europa League. The matches were generally predictable. Ajax defeated Ludogorets 4-1 away and we can say that they passed the round. Olympiacos won the match 3-1 with goals in the first half. Only the Hacken - Aberdeen match could have been won by Hacken.  After going 2-0 up, they conceded 2 goals in a row which led to a draw.
Sheriff, on the other hand, will most probably go through in the rematch at home after the away draw.
It's actually quite rare case when almost all favorites win their games. As you said, probably only Hacken - Aberdeen game ended a bit unexpected and that Hacken wasted 2 goals lead. But from all results, I think that only Ajax is already 99% in next round.
Wouldn't be so confident about Sheriff, after all Klaksvik already eliminated few teams that is bigger than Sheriff.
843  Other / Meta / Re: cryptofrka's Merit Source application - gambling boards on: August 25, 2023, 07:31:03 PM
I support your application. I think that most will agree that merit distribution isn't  big enough in gambling board. Yes, there lot of shitposts from users who have no idea about gambling or sports, but many good posts get no attention in terms of merit. I have impression that most of merits is distributed in bigger or smaller bubble of people who play in variious prediction pools and BSFL.

I could not care less about anyone's opinion about me wearing a signature and being paid for it

As long as what I an advertising is not a scam, then I do not care.

If better services were offering campaigns, I'd go to them. But the fact is there are not.
If you don't care about what other think, why do you think that your opinion should matter? You literally called casinos business unethical, but you're ok to advertise unethical business and get paid for it.
And it's just nonsense that gambling doesn't affect Bitcoin economy positively. Then I'm wondering what kind of business affect it positively. Because after all casinos is one of the most mainstream types of business related with Bitcoin.
@cryptofrka, sorry for offtopic.

Canada win by 30 points - probably nobody didn't saw this coming. I made mistake by understimating Canada, seems that this year they really have team which can achieve something and this win is serious statement.
Philippines had great chance to win against really solid team, but on last minutes they didn't had their leader Jordan Clarkson and they didn't found other player who can lead them in decisive moments.
Lithuania achieved solid win against Egypt, but our game was far from perfect. We only got solid lead after halftime and we finally started hitting 3-pointers.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 24, 2023, 09:48:42 PM
In terms of Australia and Finland someone said the same thing yesterday I just don't see it.  Australia is a lot stronger team by far.  What makes everyone think Finland can win here?  Something I'm missing?
Not sayingthat Finland will win, but I expect good fight. I watched few friendly games of Finland and they left me good impression. Only last game where they got destroyed by Latvia goes out of context. Besides Markkanen they don't have big names, but their role players are doing their tasks quite good.

You just have to be more patient though on watching those live streamers as they may get restricted too.
Online subscription might be one of the option and there's a thing called "Courtside 1891", I'm not sure though on how this thing works and if this is their official site to watch live.
The host country might also have their live streaming on their social media page, you might also want to search for it.
Yeah, Courtside 1891 is official streaming of tournament. It works well, but it's not cheap. Don't remember exact price, but there you will get all games in high quality and English commentary. You also can check on Wiki local TV braodcasters for each country

846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 24, 2023, 08:37:43 PM
So, World Cup finally begins tomorrow! I'm not that hyped before this year tournament, mainly because my national team - Lithuania don't have big ambitions. It's godd that we have easy start with Egypt and Mexico.
Main game tomorrow is Canada - France. My money is on France. IMO, Canada get hyped too much like before every tournament and they haven't achieved anything.
Australia - Finland sounds interesting. I expect close game and Finlands is capable to make an upset.
Italy - Angola and Dominican Republic - Philippines doesn't sounds very exciting, but I will take a look into it just because it's interesting how basketball looks played in huge arena with 55 00 capacity.
847  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: August 24, 2023, 07:58:29 PM
There is some interesting news which got shadowed by death of Prigozhin. Today early morning Ukraine landed their troops on shore of Crimea near to Olenivka, clashed with local units, raised Ukrainian flag and returned back to boats. And offcourse, Russia is claiming that diversion group was destroyed:
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/24/europe/ukraine-crimea-operation-russia-intl/index.html
Russian Mi-8 helicopter landed in Ukrainian Poltava, more than 200km deep into Ukraine. Sounds incredible, right. Russian pilot decided to surrender and this Ukrainian operation took almost 6 months to complete. Helicopter transported parts of fighter jets and it will be used by Ukraine now. Other crew memebers didn't knew about pilot plans and point of flight destination, they tried to resist after they landed and were killed :

It would not surprise anyone tbh, anyone can defy and speak whatever about Putin, as long as they do it in private, better if is just to themselves, and better if it is only in their minds.
I wouldn't be surprised if Girkin will be next. He was allowed to crticize Russian army, generals and Shoigu, but he crossed red line when he started to criticise Putin. Then it didn't took long until he was sent to jail. And nobody will be surprised if he will die from heart attack in jail one day.

And more news about it. It wasn't Prigozhin that died (maybe).
I wouldn't deny completely version that Prigozhin wasn't really on that plane and that now he can start new life with new identity somewhere in Africa. But I think most likely that he was really eliminated. After events in last June it looked that despite it he didn't felt any danger fro himself.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Prelim Qualifiers on: August 24, 2023, 07:31:56 PM
Braga played solid game, had 2:0 lead, but that Panathinaikos goal in last minute is big game changer before 2nd leg. They have good chance to reach group stage.
Maccabi Haifa - Young Boys game ended without goals what is a bit unexpected for me.
Galatasaray played very well last night and won.
Icardi did the show again. He is a very good striker, he shows himself in every game.
The second game will be easy for us. A good game awaits us next week.
I wouldn't say that Galatasaray were that good. First goal that they scored was against game logic as Molde started game much better. But yeah, that late goal which let Gala to win the game was big hit for Molde ambitions.
And that Icardi goal was something special - perfect one touch shot.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: August 24, 2023, 03:45:58 PM
A bit strange that there is no posts about Europa league qualifiers today, while Conference league is getting some attention. There is some interesting games like Ludogorets - Ajax or Dinamo Zagreb - Sparta Prague. I'm going with ML of some favorite - Ajax, Hacken, Union Roayale, and LASK.
Klaksvik - Sheriff is game of two small underdogs who surprised Europe in recent years. I go with under 2.5 goals there as we already saw how difficult to score at Klaksvik pitch, While I think that we can expect high scoring games between Slavia - Dnipro-1 and Olympiacos - Zrinjski. Home teams is heavy favorites and their easy wins is quite likely.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: August 23, 2023, 07:38:48 PM
Too bad that I noticed news about O'Sullivan a bit late and it was already after deadline to use VAR.
Most of us were right about easy Aston Villa win as they destroyed Hibernian 5:0. While there is only few who predicted that Rangers - PSV game will end without winner.

That's something we hoped wouldn't happen but yes - considering it's a question regarding snooker which is not that known to the most of us, we'll take the higher ranked player (in this case Mark Williams).
When I was typing my answers, first I thought that full name is needed, but the noticed that surname is enough. Probaly it would be best to require write full name in such kind of questions to avoid possible confusion. It doesn't applies to tennis for example as there is no players at top level with same surname.
851  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: August 23, 2023, 07:18:56 PM
It's already confirmed about death of Prigozhin on official Russian media, no information about Utkin yet.

Looks like Progozhin and Utkin - the two leaders of the Wagner group - have died in a plane crash near Moscow, which of course was a total accident, perhaps a pilot error, but totally definitely not e.g. shot down by a SAM.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/mercenary-chief-prigozhin-in-plane-crash-wagner-rcna101443

You gotta give it to the "nice guy" Putin, this is far more elaborate than falling out of a window of a tall building, or poisoning.
I think that after what happened on 23-24th June, many of us have thought how and when it will happen. He didn't accudentally fallen out of the window or didn't drink tea with poisons. Shooting down plane looks symbolic, considering that during mutiny, Wagner shot down few helicopters and airplane.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Prelim Qualifiers on: August 23, 2023, 03:43:23 PM
Yesterday Rangers - PSV game was very exciting and it ended exactly same as year ago - both teams played in Champions league qualifiers last year and match in Glasgow also ended 2:2. It's not win, but such result gives some advantage for PSV before 2nd game at home.
Copenhage won against Rakow at home, though, they weren't playing much better. Rakow scored a goal and when I was watching replay, I couldn't even think that it can be an offside. Probably even Copenhagen wouldn't complain about such goal, but it got cancelled aftr VAR review.
So, yesterday I won my both free bets. Tonight Braga - Panathinaikos is the moist interesting game. PAO already made huge upset by kicking out Marseille, but today I'm going with Braga ML. Maccabi Haifa - Young Boys, BTTS looks like safe bet and also some money on over 2.5 goals. Molde - Galatasaray looks mostdifficult to predict game. Galatasaray so far doesn't looks very confident.
853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think privacy is important for a beginner? on: August 22, 2023, 07:47:32 PM
IMO, privacy should be important for everyone, including beginners. Only question is what level of privacy is needed for you. But at least basic things needed for everyone like not giving away your personal details like email, phone number, KYC verifications and etc with easy hand.
Many people don't care about their privacy as they're not doing nothing illegal and have nothing to hide. Others don't give a shit about it just because of convenience. And it's true that trying to hide as much your traces as possible isn't easy and requires quite a lot efforts.
But after all, attitude towards privacy is everyone's free choice.
854  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Ninjastic.space: which features would you like to see? on: August 22, 2023, 07:28:38 PM
Nice to know you want to roll out a new version ninjastic.space website. If possible, I will like to know the number of smerits theymo allocates to each merit source. Some merits sources are complaining that they recieve small quota while some have much that they are unable to spend. Yet, it is very difficult to earn merits even when a good effort is invested in making these posts. A weird request?
It would be interesting to know such information, but I doubt that's possible to get it. As I understand, only theymos and merit sources know how much smerit is allocated and scrappers can't extract it. Maybe someone who have better knowledge in these things can correct me if I'm wrong.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Prelim Qualifiers on: August 22, 2023, 06:10:02 PM
So, it's the day when we will hear Champions league anthem for the first time thisseason. Not group stage yet, but I'm excited already. Have several free bets on Sportsbet and one of them I will use on Antwerp ML. IMO, they're a bit better in general and AEK had difficult game with Dinamo Zagreb on Saturday, while Antwerp had one more day to rest and prepare. Other freebet I will use on Rangers - PSV BTTS. I'm quite confident that PSV will advance to group stage, but I wouldn't count on them in away game.
Rakow - Copenhage looks most difficult to predict, no idea what to pick, maybe I will make some random last minute bet justbefore the game.

I think FC Copenhagen and PSV Eindhoven will win the match easily.
It's hard to say who will win the Antwerp vs AEK
Not sure why you're so confident about them. Both play away and I don't think so that they're significantly better than their opponents. If they would play at home, it would be different question
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: August 21, 2023, 08:33:52 PM
I think I love this round too, I don't know too well about snooker, except on a few a occasions when I inadvertently have on my tv screen, and I sure would not take away and end following the event for the next few days just the was 8 ball or 9 ball tournament that took place a couple of weeks ago, but that was doubles competition and representing their countries If I'm not mistaken because I remember watching Jake Shaw playing alongside another British player to represent the Great Britain.

Elsewhere other questions feels quite fair enough although not easy to come up with a decision or pick per se.
It looks that you confusing pool and snooker. It's completely different games, they are even played on different tables. And in snooker there is no such thing as doubles.
Snooker reminds me chess a bit because there you also have to think about few moves ahead if you don't want to give your opponent advantage. Maybe it looks a bit difficult to understand game initially, but I think that watching just 1 frame is enough to understand how it works.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 21, 2023, 07:43:39 PM
Soon after final it was announced that father of Golden goal author Olga Carmona passed away. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66566564
As she posted on Twitter, it's the best and worst day in her life. It's difficult to imagine her emotions after what she experienced in one day.

Now I ask the question: What was the biggest disappointment in your opinion?

The United States?
New Zealand, Brazil, Canada?

For me it was Brazil, who didn't even make it past the group stage, it was quite frustrating not to even reach the round of 16

Good question. New Zealand - no way, there was no big expectations about them and that they won against Norway what is huge achievement.
Probably Brazil who got eliminated after group stage already and their group wasn't really strong. USA is disappointment, but after all they got eliminated by another strong team.

Crazy rounds, and I don't even know where to start reading and researching about Athletics and snooker, nothing helps tbh lol

I have to say, the basketball question is total 50/50, it's so hard to find that kind of game so kudos to the team for finding something truly coinflip for this round Wink
Really love this round questions because sports that I like a lot is included. I following World Athletics championship annd I like watching snooker, especially when O'Sullivan is playing. Though, not sure that it will help me to answer questions.
Wouldn't say that basketball question is 50/50. My observation from previous tournaments that Canada usually brings good squad, but they didn't achieved anything. While France have 2nd best squad after USA.
859  Economy / Reputation / Re: Say Something about your Bitcointalk Mentor. on: August 21, 2023, 07:07:40 PM
Good question, but I think that I can't name one or few names which I can call as my mentor. For me it's something similar like naming favourite movie or song. When someone ask me such question, I never answer it because I simply can't pick one. Same about naming mentor.
There is so many people who helped me in all these years and I'm grateful for all them. But picking one name of user who helped me most is too difficult task for me.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: August 20, 2023, 08:58:55 PM
Porto wo against league newcomers Farense, but it was tough game for them. It was quite typical game between big team and underdog, but we can't say that Farense didn't had their moments. Even after Porto made score 2:1 on 100th minute, Farense had great moment to score, but their shot was saved by Diogo Costa.

In addition, signing Di Maria - who despite the idea continues to play very well, means that they are disinvesting in the squad.
IMO, Di Maria is great signing, despite that few recent seasons wasn't great for him. He is 35 years old already, but he still can be 90 minutes player and seems that his role in Benfica will be very important.
