601  Other / Meta / Re: Signature campaign as a creation of bitcointalk on: November 03, 2023, 05:47:41 PM
That's even a recent article on that website. I guess we're going to have a surge of new registrations going forward because of that. I hope they come, learn and contribute too, not completely have that belief of earning alone.
That's not recent article, it was published very long time ago. This article only get updated sometimes, this is why fresh date is displayed. And i could argue about some things which is written there. Like signature campaign brings low income, but actually it's higher than some earning methods which is described there.

Also old https://mmgp.ru/, that was registered in 2007 used same "pay for 1 line in signature" reward system. And I think for a long period people used their any free forum account space to advertise their services. This makes bitcointalk not being signature campaign creator.
Oh, I completely forgot about this forum. I remember I used it a lot when I only started to try earn money online. I remember something about their ''signature campaigns'', but not very clear and I never tried to participate in it.

It seems that this system only works well here because of the freedom we have and if you think about it, it works very well here, usually the community helps each other if there are problems, or if a scam appears, with the merits, DTs, trust etc
Agree about it, can't imagine signature campaigns on other forums working same like on Bitcointalk. There is so many factors which don't allow it to happen. Like too low payment rates, not that active forums, spam and etc
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: November 02, 2023, 06:47:39 PM
This thing with Sinner is total disgrace. He was maybe even first favorite for me in Paris and then the organizers make him play without any time for recuperation. It is usual to at least give players in his situation late slot so they get about 20 hours between the matches. That gives them time for recuperation before sleep.

Good thing he forfeited even though that probably screwed my pick (not sure what my opponent picked), there is already several players heaping pressure on ATP for such behavior.
Yeah, Sinner was one of my favorites together with Medvedev, so I already know that I won't get point for this question. First of all, they shouldn't start to play after midnight. It's not good for players and specators. They ended to play somewhere 2.40 AM local time what is ridiculous. Sometimes players have 2 matches same day, usually when tournament had lot of rain delays, but in this situation organizers made bad decision. For example Roland Garros have curfew when matches should be stopped at 11 PM, but as I understand it doesn't counts for indoor tournaments.
But after watching WTA Finals, I understand that ATP is ages ahead them Cheesy. Tiny stadium looks like made for 250 torunament, not Finals and players have to fight not only against their opponent, but also huge wind. I probably I haven't seen tournament with top players and so many 6:0 sets Cheesy.
603  Other / Meta / Re: Is it just me? Bitcointalk slow!!! on: November 02, 2023, 06:20:00 PM
I've been using forum without any issues all day long. And seems that other user aren't reporting about any problems that they facing. So, most likely there issue on your side. Do you access forum through VPN or TOR, these things can make load of pages slower. If not, there is something wrong with your internet connection.

I did notice a bit of a slowdown, but not when accessing, but when publishing the last couple of posts, it took about 20 or 30 seconds instead of being almost instantaneous, as usual. But looking at the other replies, I guess it must be something to do with my connection and not something generalised.
I face this thing quite often. Forum pages loads fast as it's supposed,, but when I click to publish post, it takes a while until it get published.
604  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Putin's Alleged death boost the world's economy? on: November 01, 2023, 07:23:52 PM
I'm wondering how many times in recent years Putin has died. He is like a cat who have 9 lives. But seriously, from all these reports, this one looks least realistic. Only one Telegram channel, called General SVR and from what I saw and what reaction it received, nobody didn't believed in these reports seriously. In past this channel looked like reputable source of information, but in recently it lost it's credibilty.
IMO, it looked like editor got drunk too much and then turned on his fantasy. Because this story doesn't sounds realistic at all.

Putin seems like a pretty healthy individual and one of the wealthiest people in the world so I’d be a little bit surprised if it were true.
Putin looked pretty health few years ago, but now it's not same anymore. If you would look closer, you would see that things had changed. Why he needs all these extremely long table or mandatory lockdown for people who want to meet him. Also, in his public appearances he coughs a lot. And it's been a while since showed his macho image like jumping into ice water. Still, he looks way better than Biden, but I wouldn't say that he is pretty healthy.

To my understanding, Dmitry Medvedev is Putin's lapdog and he supports the war, along with most high ranked military officials.
If Putin dies they will either keep playing this game with lookalikes, afraid that admitting it might lower the morale of soldiers fighting in Ukraine, or they'll openly say that he's dead but the government wants to keep going.
I would rule out Medvedev as potential replacement. Even in Russia his ratings is low and many aren't looking seriously into him. Now he has role of angry clown who threatens to destroy half of world with nuclear weapon. Something similar what Zhirinovsky was doing until his death.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: November 01, 2023, 06:57:27 PM
After the expected defeat, or rather humiliation, Ajax are now down and last in the Eredivisie table for the first time with 5 defeats in a row.

I am curious if Ajax can still turn the tide, it would be a shame for Ajax to play against relegation for the rest of the season.
I think it's way to early to seriously talk about Ajax fighting to avoid relegation. No matter how bad they're looking now, I just don't believe that they will play so bad all season long. Maybe they will make some changes in winter transfer window. I even still wouldn't rule out possibility for them to get into Conference league playoff spots.
There is KNVB cup games this week, but so far nothing very interesting didn't happned. Clubs which play in UEFA competitions will join cup from 2nd round.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: November 01, 2023, 06:41:10 PM
Not league but still important Copa del Rey tonight.
Man, I love these early rounds of cups. Not because we see high level football or something here. It's more about spirit of cup when La Liga club arrives to these tiny stadiums of amateur clubs and sometimes it looks like whole town comes to stadium to watch this game.
Many of these clubs don't even have page on Wikipedia or results shown of Flashscore app.
If I haven't missed anything, we don't have big upsets so far and La Liga clubs didn't got eliminated. Watched a bit of Quintanar de la Orden from 6th tier and Sevilla game which ended as expected. Now watching Bunol (also from 6th tier) - Real Sociedad game and score is still 0:0 after 50 minutes.
607  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted post in a self-moderated thread. No link to the thread. on: October 31, 2023, 08:27:03 PM
I never thought about it as my posts rarely gets removed from sel-moderated topics. Until I experienced same what most of us did few days ago when one user deleted so many posts in his self moderated topics. I think it doesn't makes much sense why link to topic isn't given.
Yes, there is workarounds, but it doesn't makes task easier when is message that we get msg or topic ID isn't given.
608  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are your true odds of hitting 10000 at freebitco.in? on: October 31, 2023, 08:04:35 PM
Dont be disheartened, I was too lucky to have rolled such a rare number on FBC in just a year. Guess I was just in the place and the right nick of time. Have been rolling on FBC since then more so recently and have not be able to replicate the same again. I will make another thread if I even hit that number again and keep you all updated.

Dont let big wins be the reason of your frustration, its just luck and nothing you can do about it.
I still remember your story as you probably was first Bitcointalk user who posted about his big win on Freebitoc.in. I'm not frustrated about my lack of luck - after all, hitting 10000 on Freebitco.in isn't one of my lifetime goals and these $200 isn't life-changing money.
In all these years rolling on Freebitco.in become my daily habbit. I don't have big expectations, but still, hitting that magic number one day would be fun.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: October 30, 2023, 11:48:37 PM
I checked it earlier and it's 3. From the beginning of the season I am looking for one exact score and I know this is the first one LOL. Are you sure you saw it on LaLiga pool or any other pools like Serie A and Premier League.

Right now my position is 28th out of 28 LOL
Now I checked one more time to be sure that I didn't confused anything and yeah, Superbru table shows that you got 9 points for exact predictions:

BTW, congrats with getting up from last place Wink
610  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are your true odds of hitting 10000 at freebitco.in? on: October 30, 2023, 07:39:47 PM
Missed this topic when it was actually posted. That's some nice calculations you made. These numbers looks nice on paper, but math doesn't always works in reality. If it would be just about maths, I had to win $200 at least 4 times - I'm rolling on Freebitco.in since 2015 and still haven't rolled main prize. Well, maybe one day. Hell, I haven't even got $20 so far, while maths says that I had to get it $20 8 times.. I also got $2 reward maybe only once or twice. Probably I'm the most unlucky Freebitco.in user, considering how many rolls I have made. While probably there is users who had to make few hundreds rolls to get $200 or $20.
611  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com is Down ? on: October 30, 2023, 07:20:41 PM
And it seems that Preev.com is back again guys.
Good, only question for how long this time? It looks that recently they're more time down than online.

They could move their DNS to buddyns

Free service is 300K query/month
$3 a month for 3mil query/month

They could, it's not a problem. But from what we saw in recent years, it seems that owner of Preev.com simply doesn't cares much about his website anymore.

613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: October 30, 2023, 04:23:34 PM
Today we have 2 big games in local leagues. Panathinaikos - Olympiacos and another Belgrade derby in less than week - Partizan - Crvena Zvezda at Stark Arena. My money is on Partizan again, while it seems that bookmakers don't have much faith in PAO, odds for Oly is such low.
Seems that another change of coach in Euroleague is inevitable. I watched a bit how Baskonia had no chance against Andorra yesterday and chair of Penarroya is very hot. At first it looked more like joke, but there is serious talks Dusko Ivanovic would replace him. It would be already 4th when he manage Baskonia and I can't remember anything similar.
EDIT Dusko to Baskonia is official now. https://twitter.com/BasketNews_com/status/1719024134414282772

Super Riccardo it will be fun to see him in RBR the next year.
Ricciardo performance with one of worst cars on the grid was awesome. He was even close from overtaking Russel in last laps.
While Perez, such failure at home GP, that crash was completely his fault. I'm not sure what happened to him after great previous season.
Yeah, Ricciardo to Red Bull. But mark my words - he won't do much better than Perez and will get critisized a lot too.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Bundesliga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: October 29, 2023, 05:03:54 PM
It's a bit strange that nobody isn't talking about this round games when we had 6 goals drama between Eintracht and Dortmund and Bayern simply destroying Darmstadt 8:0. Maybe Bayern's result wouldn't be surprising that much, but when you have 0:0 at halftime, usually you don't expext such things to happen. And that Kane goal from his own half is serious contender for Puskas award.
And I can't remember round withso many red cards.
P.S. Where I can watch proper highlights of Bundesliga game? Because when Bundesliga Youtube channels puts 6 or 8 goals in 1 minute video, it's ridiculous...
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 23/24 - discussion thread on: October 29, 2023, 04:48:50 PM
AZ Alkmar is down 0:2 against Nijmegen at home. Unexpected, but difficult to comment something about game without watching it. In other game Twente won vs Feyenoord 2:1. Twente had very solid 1st half, in 2nd Feyenoord tried to take over initiative, but that wasn't enough to achieve positive result.

No way man, this cant be true, Ajax keep goind deep in the rabbit hole, now not only being in the last position of a very weak league, also losing and being humillated by PSV in the derby from 1-2 to losing it in only 15 minutes 5-2, its gonna be really hard time in Ajax lockers i think.
Damn, everything started so good for Ajax, their 1st half was probably best what we saw from them this season so far. But what happened in 2nd half, it was a bit sad to watch Ajax players getting beaten like kids
This game was interrupted, but not for fans behaviour as usual in Eredivisie, but one spectator had health problems. As I understand, he is OK now.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: October 28, 2023, 07:07:26 PM
I was missing Primeira Liga already, it returns after quite long time - international break and cup games last week. And we already have one big upset - Benfica game with Casa Pia ended 1:1. It's such kind of game when favorite wasn't able to close game by scoring second goal. And that goal which Benfica conceded was responsibility of goalkeeper Trubin. Ball can't go between legs of goalkeeper from such angle.
Later tonight there interesting game between Gil Vicente and Braga. In recent years Braga never had easy games against this opponent.
EDIT Damn, conditions in Barcelos is such difficult - very heavy rain and so much standing water on the pitch. And Gil Vicente is leading after 30 minutes 1:0.

Thanks for reminder, jeremypwr. I actually somehow forgot about qualification and didn't even submitted picks on Superbru, despite watching practice yesterday. Now everything is fixed Smiley. Picks on Superburu submitted, prediction contest too.
Difficult to expect something unexpected to happen when you see what Verstappen is doing in practice. I only hope that Perez will have decent race at home soil, it's needed that much for home in such difficult season.

It's a hard loss to swallow If I'm being honest, because Barcelona had the game under total control and were never at any point nervous while the starting eleven players chemistry was also rightly spot, but it all change after Xavi made his substitution, and it went all shades wrong from that point, I really didn't see the need for those changes, especially Lewandowski that's just returned from injury, I think his introduction somewhat disrupted the teams chemistry and gave Real Madrid more room and time to work with.
Yeah, everything was going perfectly for more than 60 minutes, but that Bellingham goal was huge shock for Barca. They didn't managed to react to it and Real took over control of game completely. It looked only matter of time until Real will score another goal. It happened on 92th minute - conceding such late goal hit even harder. And unlike in some previous games, today substitutions didn't worked at all, Lewa didn't looked 100% fit to play.

By the way after 10 full rounds, after playing 99 matches on the pool I was able to hit an exact score in LaLiga LOL. 1 - 0 in the Girona vs Celta Vigo match broke the deadlock for me.
Wow, you really had bad luck, congrats for breaking deadlock. But are you sure about it, because Superbru table shows that you have 9 points for exaxct scores.
