41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICO Project Proponents Must Also Submit KYC on: May 02, 2019, 09:47:28 AM

The KYC requirement in many ICO projects has been the bone of contention of many investors and supporters with many thinking and feeling that this is not needed as this is the industry that proposes decentralization, anonymity and privacy. However, a project can argue that it is the law that requires them to know their customers and they are in fact just following the regulation. The problem is that KYC is not a guarantee that a project can never go down the coffin and run with the investors' money...maybe travelling to the "moon" and have an indefinite vacation in there until the victims can forget their misfortune of trusting them.

Now, if these project owners can require us to undergo the KYC process...should it not be rational that they themselves submit to the same so that we can be sure that we are dealing with real people with real address?
I don't even see any reason whatsoever why investors would have to carry out KYC when participating in an ICO, when means of payment for token is tired down just to crypto and without fiat included, KYC should only be necessary for those who will want to make purchase of the token via fiat so that the government would be able to demand for their details if something went wrong during the purchase, the main people that should carry out KYC are the people in charge of the project since we are committing our money to their hand.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading or Recurring earning through dividend??? on: May 02, 2019, 08:07:06 AM
I have one question to my dearest community
Now i am thinking of restart trading . till now i invested in some Recurring earnign Coins or Token like NEO were giving some GAS. KCS was giving some KCS token whhile holding in Kucoin Exchange . SXDT was giving some return in the form of Ether . Dropil was one of the good Arbitrage platform was giving good returns in the form of Dropil Token Even some more . It was safe investment in bearish market . But now i am again thinking to trade what do you think guys .
Well it's a good though that you want to begin to trade crypto, though don't just jump into it because you might end up losing huge amount of many, a lot of persons really want to do things on their own without learning from people ahead of them who are knowledgeable about what they want to go into, so what am saying is that you should get a professional crypto trader to teach you how the market works so that you don't just go into the market blindly
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: May 02, 2019, 07:05:53 AM
Bitcoin after rising above $ 5,600 has undergone a correction. This is considered the highest price in the last 6 months. Although declining, the recent recovery to over $ 5,500 has been an important achievement for Bitcoin. I believe that the BTC will reach $ 6,000 over the next few months.
I also see this happening too fundamentally, although I recently was showed a technical analysis recently by a friend, of BTC briefly touching $4500 before speedily increasing to $6000, so I am still waiting to get a clear direction first before I can see the possibility of BTC reaching that target anytime soon, but I am quite sure that that before the end of the year, there is a possibility of Bitcoin climbing above $10,000 if we judge it from the perspective of fundamental analysis, because that is still the best way of predicting BTC on a long term, technical analysis is  not that effective for long term prediction.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: May 02, 2019, 06:23:49 AM
That guys might be trying to create some FUD, only stupid one will call bitcoin has no use when the market is growing and big institutions have already recognize its potential. Facebook is a big company, and they are here to adopt crypto, they sees the potential of bitcoin and even if we call crypto but it could also entails to bitcoin since it's the king here.
We should ignore people like that because they don’t have investment on Bitcoin or they could have been paid probably by whales to create FUD that will cause panic sell for them to acquire more, because I can see we have not passed the accumulation stage.

Bitcoin might not have touched his life or life of anyone surrounding him because of their no participation in it, but for those that BTC has been useful to can testify to how bitcoin has practically help most families and even the economy of their country, and has even generated employment for so many countries through cryptocurrency companies.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: May 02, 2019, 05:40:49 AM
Currently i don't have much crypto asset on my wallet but mostly i was hold 60% for bitcoin and 30% for ETH and the  rest of percentages mostly i get tokens or altcoins which no value but i personally don't dare to putting my money more than 50% for altcoins and my thought still bitcoin is my high priority rather than altcoins
What do you mean by you don’t have much crypto asset in your portfolio, you already have it all with these holding, especially BTC and ETH, BTC investment to me is still far more than any other assets you can ever imagine to hold, there is nothing as good as holding a coin that is reliable for future and not the ones that can crash on one at any time.

These are basically the rules that I follow too, and 90% of my holding are BTC and ETH, I just trade some of the altcoins for short term trade and not for holding or long term investment, I prefer to hold a coin that has been in existence for long for long term which only BTC qualifies.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No best year in crypto currency on: May 01, 2019, 01:31:51 PM
Hahaha, when you have smiled, why do you need to cry then, I think the problem is that some persons are still yet to understand the crypto market, events in the crypto space is what cause a major change in the price of crypto both positively and negatively, once you can make use of event to monitor the market, then you will always know when is the right time to enter the market and also the best time to pull out from the market without acquiring any lost, the crypto market is so fun, all you need do is learn how to master the market and you will definitely play god.
47  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: May 01, 2019, 11:01:09 AM
Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.
Lol, this question is kinda funny tho'😂. Even if there are no other things that the blockchain technology are needed for , for the fact that you’re here today means that the technology is important to you, cause if it is not important to you, you wouldn’t be here today , same thing to others as well.

The blockchain technology is important for the cryptocurrency we are using today cause if there was no technology like this ,I don’t know if there would be a way for us make use of this new currency in the block.
48  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: May 01, 2019, 10:31:07 AM
Today, many people use Bitcoin for investment purposes. There are a lot of people who have paid with Bitcoin before, what do you think about this?

There are lots of things one can buy with Bitcoin. I have used it to buy airtime a lot when I was a newbie and still making use of the Xapo wallet then. I stopped after I did my last purchase and I didn't receive any airtime from them. Sent them a lot of mails telling them I never received it but they kept on insisting that I have got it.

That's when I decided that I'm not going to make use of Bitcoin in buying anything again and I also stopped making use of the Xapo wallet too. That's the only thing I have ever purchased and after since then I have never considered buying any other thing.

50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gaining quick profits or keep holding? on: May 01, 2019, 07:57:30 AM
The market now gradually increasing and seems like good idea to gain quick profits in my opinion.  What's your view guys?  Is there a tends that it will constantly to rise  after day or two or it will stop increasing again? And kindly suggest which is better way now  "gaining quick profits or keep holding until the bottom of this pump?" )'cause im very confused now which is good strategy and i don't know what to do.
I think that’s a question you’re mean tot answer yourself man, you don’t need anyone to answer such a question for you. Whenever I invest I always know what is enough for me, and once I have reached that I always withdraw to usd and still leave some money in my account in case I want to continue the trading.

If you don’t know what to do, maybe because the price is still going up a bit, you can decide to withdraw half of it and leave the rest to grow. If it happens that there is no more profit coming and price starts to drop, you can then withdraw it.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should belive Crypto? on: May 01, 2019, 07:18:30 AM
Should we support crypto fully or can we believe about this? Seeing that the people who took the hypothesis of the crypto were very losers. Because this year there is a lot of price fall.
People was being busy with crypto, but nobody can not want to take losses. But they got.
You are saying this and using the price fall to judge these projects because you are not seeing the future in them, it takes years for projects that will affect the entire nation to fully develop, some of these projects might be own now, but that doesn’t mean that they will not eventually pick up.

We investors needs to stop seeing the money we want to quickly make off these projects within a short term, if we want to support them for a future growth, then we need to learn to rely more on their future. We still have projects that are actively performing out there and getting lots of recommendation, and as they continue to grow gradually, their value will surely increase overtime.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt to cash out on: May 01, 2019, 06:47:13 AM
With recent events in crypto currency trades since January 2019, I have learnt to cash out

Crypto currency long term hodl is very good and rewarding no doubts
But we are at a stage where crypto is formed by whales and the money controllers

With the persistent pump and dumps by the whales; crypto is like a game at the moment
You are absolutely right about this trading strategy and I am not against it at all but we also need to be careful in doing so, this is the practice that made many investor loose out in the last BULL RUN, they were cashing out and when the time for BULL RUN came, it coincided with the time some of them cashed out, and a the increase became a speedy one, to get another entry point for them became a very hard one for  them, till the increase became scary and they could no longer invest.

If we are to practice your advice, which is not a bad one, I would advise that we practice this method on coins that we are not sure of their future stand, but for BTC, we cannot really be sure that this practice will fully favor us.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Art of quitting !!!! on: April 30, 2019, 08:56:39 PM
Lets discuss about Art of Quitting . Entering any market or business is required lots of research , dedication as well as patience . I think its also applies for Quitting . Based on some research people successfully gained money in Crypto market or any other trading Market  They know the skill Art of Quitting . Could some experience people can give their Strategy about Exiting market in Right time .
Exiting market at the real time? Like when do you mean? You do know that this market is something else and really unpredictable. Hardly have I seen anyone that was able to predict what’s the market is going to be next coming days. So, if you’re investing in this market that means that you’ve decided that you’re ready to take the risk.

You invest at anytime and be ready to take the risk of losing that money. Though the best thing I have noticed is that you shouldn’t buy when the bull trend has already gone far or when the bear trend is starting. If you want to buy coins, buy them when they are bottoming and you will be able to make profit from holding it for a set time.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Very important tips in digital currency trading on: April 30, 2019, 08:23:41 PM
Anyone who is trading  should always make proper research of whatever they want to trade and avoid investing in what they know nothing about ,you’re right about that op Cheesy. And whenever we want to buy any coin we should know where to set our stop loss and know how much we can afford to lose and what target we have to make as a profit.

When you reach that target profit ,it’s good to leave it see if it continues to rise and at this time you will have to focus on the market to know when anything is going to happen, cause it might be at that time you take your focus out that something different is going to happen.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading bitcoin on: April 30, 2019, 07:52:29 PM
Before you start trading bitcoin ,it will be much better that you take some time to study the bitcoin trading and learn how it works . There are about three different types of trading I think  Roll Eyes and that is Direct Trading, Brokers and Trading platforms. These three are something different. Brokers are just the same with foreign exchange, while Direct trading is what you will see a lot of people in this forum refer to as P2P. Trading platforms are different from the first two I have mentioned, they connect traders and buyers and they collect a fee for it.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, Token, D-App and legality on: April 30, 2019, 07:21:37 PM
Sir satoshi created Bitcoin using he blockchain technology and has been anonymous ever since then after creating the coin and nothing has gone against him legally, if a private firm develops a D-app that is not to scam people, then I do not see why it should have any legal implications.

The whole idea behind the blockchain technology is that of anonymous system, so they must not operate legally since the identity has already been protected, because once a D-app application becomes legally registered, then it will be under the regulation of government. The product of the company itself is what is being decentralized and not the company, so they should still meet up with the obligations of paying necessary government dues.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience & endurance on: April 30, 2019, 01:20:01 PM
Two things that must be possessed in order to continue to see the future, patience, and endurance are not easy psychology. The crypto market really needs a patient attitude so that later it can find a more profitable way.
I think it should come this way, Quality Knowledge, Strategy, Patience and endurance. We also need the right strategy to be able to survive in this market, not many people hold their coins for a long term purpose, some would still like to make money while they are also patiently waiting for the long term investment, and the only way you can succeed in this market after having the knowledge is to also have the right strategy to apply to one’s investment. This main factors everyone has listed is very important to traders most.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partnership Between TRON and Liverpool FC is Still in Turmoil on: April 28, 2019, 08:16:53 AM
Hahaha, he is probably trying to follow the ways of Craig and Tom lee method in also creating hype for himself and his coin, I really don’t see the correlation between TRON and LIVERPOOL, except they will just serve as advertising means, but I don’t  know how the services TRON tenders can really be linked with the football club.

They really need to learn to understand an intention before concluding that it was for such purpose, I guess they will feel a little bit embarrassed at the denial of their partnership with the Football club, anyway, they can still push further and see if he can get something out of a partnership with Liverpool FC.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Startups companies on: April 28, 2019, 07:33:00 AM
Do you believe in the crypto startups? As a member of a startup exchange I want to ask you:

Do you go and give a chance on new exchanges or you stick on the same for a long time?
If not why ? Smiley
Why won't we believe in crypto startups, the only way not to believe in crypto startups is not to believe in crypto itself.
Because, I believe that most big companies currently on the blockchain also started as a startup and then grew into a multi-billion dollar company including binance itself that is now the best crypto exchange in existence, once you see that the team are committed to making their project work, then you can work with them to make it possible.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OFFICIAL: GoChain Adds DISH Network ($13.6 billion revenue) as Signing Node on: April 28, 2019, 06:53:14 AM
Wow, I am just hearing about this project for the first time, and I think I am interested in the project but first of all I have some questions I need the admin to answer before I go further, what is so unique about this project that would take the eyes of investors off the current projects that allows smart contract and focus on this one, FLETA is even doing same and claim to solve the scalability in the crypto space, so what are you guys boosting about solving or what upgrade have you guys done on the existing projects.
