41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 11, 2024, 01:13:43 PM
A good bounce back for the Nuggets to pick up that momentum after being totally locked down in game 1 and 2. And the Wolves had a very very bad game that they even gave up early in the 3rd quarter. They looked complacent sitting at 2 nothing, even Edwards was too comfortable answering the post game conference as if the Nuggets ain't capable of bouncing back and win the next 3.
This is the huge difference between an experienced against a young team who hasn't been into the finals.

Denver Nuggets were also able to get back in the series with Minnesota Timberwolves, that was huge a statement from the defending champions and to show that can also get a win on any given day. I don't know if I say that the Wolves didn't actually get complacent, I mean they were 6-0 in the playoffs so far, sweeping the Suns, and getting 2 wins on the road, one without their best defensive asset only for them to then trail for the entire night and trying to play catch up, something must have been wrong from the get-go. However, regardless of how bad the Wolves looked for most of the entire night, the Denver Nuggets offense was extremely extraordinary and deserve pretty much an equal credit for a great game.

Everything just went well for the Nuggets in this game as they are not forcing to attack inside, most of their points came from outside and they had success on that because they are rotating the ball well to avoid the pressure defense from the Wolves. Gordon was also key here as he was not defended outside, so he enjoys shooting with being contested and made 3 of his 4 attempts. There was no defense on him since he wasn't really a good 3 point shooter, but this game sees the urgency and happy to see him have that confidence of a defending champion.

And the best news is Murray is already back on his usual stats, he shoot 11-21 in game 3, pretty high perentage compared to his stats in the prior 2 games at their home court, I think this will continue and Nuggets has a chance in game 4.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 11, 2024, 12:22:34 PM
So we have two upcoming games, first one is game 1 and the 2nd is game 2 of the Nuggets vs Wolves.

I have the Pacers at +6.(win) I think the Knicks are to overrated because they beat the Sixers, but I think game one is going to be close and I would even bet on the moneyline for Pacers if I have a little extra.

2nd game I have the Nuggets -5.5.  - loss

They can't loss this game, so I expect them to start strong and beat the Wolves by double digits. It doesn't matter how they played in game 1, all they need is a good adjustment, win game 2 and take game 3.

Moving on to the upcoming games...

Cleveland is not really a bad team but in the first game they loss via blowout. Now in game 2, I think they are ready to make the series interesting, so I expect the game to be a close one, and with that said, I'm taking the handicap +13.5. win

2nd game, I have the Dallas Mavericks +5 win

\\  Updated record 14(W)-15(L)..... 48%

I'm choosing the same team for the upcoming games.

I have Dallas -2.5 ( although it does look like a trap). First home game, I feel that they'll win the game and maybe next game the OKC will even the series.  On the 2nd game, nothing will change, I'm still rooting for the cavaliers here, at home they should play better, so I'm taking that +8.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 190K in 2024? on: May 10, 2024, 08:59:09 PM
There's like 7 more months before 2025 so I'd say that your price speculation isn't that far off and I don't think that it's generous, seems to me that it's grounded to reality even just a little. I mean look at it, the bitcoin price is going over to 65k+ and it's steady there I think that this halving would make us see a new kind of growth that might not be even in our wildest imagination so I don't believe it's not that high of a price prediction. So, what can we do if we were to expect this kind of event though? I think that the only answer here would be to do your due diligence and do the consistent DCA, you don't want to miss out if this happens and at the same time you're secured because you're buying bitcoin.
Well, knowing bitcoin, it can always surprise us with something new, but I guess having $190k within this year is quite unreachable. The current price may possibly get doubled and reach $120k-$130k only, still below the anticipated price of OP. Although I’m not doubting the price potential of bitcoin, but sometimes we should predict somehow a reasonable price, and I think having $190k may not be possible throughout the year but most likely at the early quarter of 2025.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before Trading Bitcoin you should... on: May 10, 2024, 08:49:04 PM
Trading is a very complex task. It is very difficult to master.  It takes a long time to learn to learn.  Even then, many people can't be good at it. That's why you shouldn't trade with everything you have. Anyone can trade if they want with the remaining money after fulfilling their basic needs. And once you gain in trading, thinking that you are good at it will be the most stupid.  Never give up your job or stable income for trading because trading with unknowns can put you on the street.
Trade only what you can afford to lose, and you will be in peace. Even if you consider yourself as a professional trader, risking everything you have will always be a mistake, otherwise, you will be homeless before you end up reaching your goal. And never trade to replace your job, that’s never a good mindset especially if you are only thinking to get rich quick. Keep your job, and have trading as your side hustle. That way, you will live a more peaceful and profitable life.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accumulating Bitcoin or trading Bitcoin which is more wise to do. on: May 10, 2024, 03:08:36 PM
Don't get confused OP why did the majority choose to invest in Bitcoin rather than trading, it is because trading is too risky, stressful, and can't assure a profit. Unlike investing and holding, as long as you are buying low and selling high, profit is certain. But in trading, committing mistakes will end in tragic losses.

So OP, if you think about less stress better see buying Bitcoin suits you well but if you are really a risk-taker, you can try trading.
Or, you can take both as long as you can manage yourself well but if not, better focus on the option that has interest. Never mind those people who said this is the best option as they also have different preferences in life.
Well said. Both are actually profitable if you are good at both, but if you have doubts in your trading knowledge and skills, it’s better to just focus first on hodling alone, until you gain confidence to trade on your own.   Know that those who are skilled and excellent traders nowadays have started buying and hodling their coins first, and decided to trade when their experiences are good enough.

However, regardless of how others have thought about it, what matters the most is your own interest and preference. Remember, you can’t just trade because others are trading and are earning decent profits, same like investing and hodling. Analyze what suits best for you, but if you can be good and profitable at both, that would be a bigger advantage on your part.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 09, 2024, 01:40:28 PM
Yeah, it was Brunson who lead the team as Julius Randle is out already and who knows he might not be back in New York uniform because the team now looks solid in both offense and defense and working very hard as a team. Because when Randle is playing its more on isolation on him and then outside 3 point shot.

Brunson is really showing phenomenal results this playoffs, and it looks like this guy is in his prime right now. But why do you think Randle won't be back with the Knicks? He has at least one more season on his contract with the Knicks, and it seems to me that he can adapt to the new conditions, i.e., when Brunson is the team leader.

Better that way if Brunson will be the team leader as they are more effective. Let him handle the ball and make the right decision as he makes everyone play their best. Though he had a lot of attempts but if you look at his stats, his FG% are very impressive for a player who takes a lot of shot, Kobe wasn't even above 40% during his prime IIRC, Brunson here does really know his spots.

BTW, 61% FG percentage in game 2, pretty impressive, and in game 1, he was 53%.

Pacers better find a way to minimize the production of Brunson.

48  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be wealthy you need action on: May 09, 2024, 10:21:37 AM
In short, focus on putting all your knowledge into application until you develop them as your new skills. Without actions and real life experiences, you will never see your own growth and real value in that aspect. That should be the real mindset for those who aspire to become rich and wealthy in the process, as knowledge alone without actions will remain useless.

Also, if you can make it happen today, do it now, don’t procrastinate. Otherwise, being lazy that keeps you procrastinating will serve as a big barrier to become successful and wealthy.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I experienced since the past two days now on: May 09, 2024, 09:28:09 AM
Do not trust, verify.

There are the types of conversations you have with some random people about Bitcoin and the technologies around that you can just smell something fishy. Too many support for seemly illegal services, curious questions on how to bypass illegal services etc it should be enough to walk away from these conversations.

All Bitcoin investors cannot be genuine. There will always be the bad eggs who have chosen that way of life. Caught off every communication with them and keep them at arms length soon they will meet their waterloo. And that will be when the FBI, Interpol and local security will come for their arrest.

In all conversation that involves about money and investment, learn not to trust easily, otherwise you will fall as a new victim as well. But sometimes, scammers tend to be smarter than us. They won’t argue with us so that we’ll eventually feel that we’re on the same side. But in reality, they’re just waiting for us to finally fall on their traps. So it pays to be more careful and cautious with our actions and decisions that involve about money and investments. And obviously trust no one, that’s the only way that we can protect our own funds from stealing.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 06, 2024, 03:01:59 PM
2nd game I have the Nuggets -5.5.

They can't loss this game, so I expect them to start strong and beat the Wolves by double digits. It doesn't matter how they played in game 1, all they need is a good adjustment, win game 2 and take game 3.

I’m not sure if they can beat Wolves with double digit unless Jamal will play like ANT on game tomorrow. This is what expected for Nuggets against the Wolves since Jokic is too busy on his own to provide space for his teammates that’s why he is forced to do the score on his own just to provide for his team.

I’m really skeptical whether Nuggets can beat Wolves with the Wolves current performance that doesn’t show any weaknesses until now. AFAIK, Nuggets is always at lose on most of their regular season matches against this current roster Wolves. This is the peak match on Western Conference imho.

There's a lot of surprises in the playoffs, like how the Miami Heat beat the Celtics in game 2 by double digit, and they aren't expected to win, while the Nuggets is the defending champion and capable of beating the Wolves. Let's say they just have a bad game in game 1 and they are gonna bounce back in game 2 with a big win. This is just my prediction though as no one sees the future but I trust the Nuggets that they will not go down 0-2 on their home court.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: May 06, 2024, 02:26:44 PM

Casimero won't really stand a chance to defeat Inoue at current situation since we know how long could Inoue able to last since aside that he is fast and have powerful punch that guy got lots of air in the bag and this is what Casimero doesn't have so with this Casimero has less chance to defeat Inoue and I'm sure he also knows that.

I am a follower of Casimero on his social media and after Inoue got knockdown Casimero posted that he had never experienced something like that in all his fights he even compared Tete to be a much better fighter than Casimero whom he knockout in round 3 and if they ever met Inoue will be game over against him.

Casimero will keep taunting Inoue until Inoue gives him a chance to fight, but Casimero needs to prove that he is a worthy opponent by getting active again hopefully, Top rank will notice him and line him up but right now all Casimero can do is to insult Inoue.

Well, Casimero has a point though. In this fight, we've seen the weakness of Inoue as he has been knocked down for the first time in his career. I believe Casimero has a more powerful punches than Nery so if that was Casimero who hit Inoue, I don't know, maybe the fight will end in round one as there are still plenty of time after that knock down, Nery could just not hit another solid punch.

Inoue once again became victorious with another KO, I think it's time for Casimero to challenge him if he will still choose to stay.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 06, 2024, 07:53:14 AM
Dominican Mitchell really came through for the Cavs. That guy has another gear when it comes to the playoffs. If he were a couple inches taller… I wonder where he’ll end up next year.
He deserve it.

The last time they've played against the Magic, he did everything with all his might but ain't enough. This time, he's able to push it and they're going to be against Celtics.

But who's going to be your series winner on them? I bet most are going to be with the Celtics.

I root with what everyone thinks, the Celtics might be too much for the Cavs, not to mention the Celtics are also on a mission trying to redeem themselves not only with the Heat but the shot all the way to the finals.
Still kudos for the Cavs for winning their first series win since LeBron or their first series win since 1993 and that's without LeBron. This is already a good achievement for s team that has been struggling without that 1 player who changes everything for their franchise history.
The first LeBron left Cleveland, they were against the Orlando Magic who had prime Dwight Howard, Michael Pietrus, Rashard Lewis, & Turkoglu. These guys rain 3s against the Cavs in the entire series.  That was also the moment were the most anticipated LeBron and Kobe finals match up died.
Man, there's just too many memories from this current Cavs series win today against the Magic lol.
Mitchell  has been trying hard to be in the NBA finals when he was still with the Utah Jazz. I think he has a better team now, a good defensive team with great interior defense, so I think they have a shot at beating the heavy favorite Boston Celtics. We all know that Boston are on a mission but that doesn't mean they can easily beat the Cavaliers, if they could not swept the Butler less Miami, how much more this complete line up. Well, I'm hoping that Allen will return in the semi so he can help Mitchell on carrying the load.

It was a close first round series, I'm sure the Cavaliers have learned a lot, so I feel they are more matured and would make all the necessary adjustments against this top ranking opponent.

let's follow the status of Allen here. https://www.foxsports.com/nba/jarrett-allen-player
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: May 06, 2024, 07:12:26 AM

Canelo continues to be unchallenged because he is picking challengers that he can easily beat what happened here could happen again with Berlanga, he is taking good care of his legacy by not fighting worthy challengers like Benavidez and he may regret these years after he retires because when all talks about Canelo legacy the name Benavidez will always come out as one fighter he keeps ducking.
If he wants to keep fighting for the next years he should fight him now not later when his body cannot keep anymore.

They are smarter now, they are choosing their battle and making sure they keep winning so they can retain their value. Canelo is not as a warrior like other fighter who are willing to take risk as he probably himself thought he is also a businessman, so as long as people are watching, he is making money every fight, that's fine with him until he retires.

IMO, Canelo is just waiting for the right time, so let's be positive that one day we will see him squaring up against a fighter that could potentially beat him and we are gonna see a 50-50 betting odds in the bookies.

I didn't watch this game but I'm glad they won.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you successfully influenced someone to invest in bitcoin ? on: May 05, 2024, 09:59:01 PM
So far I never introduce anyone about Bitcoin, so the answer is I don't know if I'm capable to convince someone to invest in Bitcoin and don't know what they will do after they invest in Bitcoin.

Teach someone about Bitcoin have many drawbacks:
1. Ruin my privacy.
2. I would get blamed if they loss.
3. Wasting my time and effort.
Surely, this will happen if you happen to influence someone to invest in bitcoin. Aside from its giving you a headache everytime his investments never work, it will also create a pressure on you since he might end up putting all the blame on you, as he invest not because he’s knowledgeable and ready to take the risk, but because of the greed to gain instant profits that develops while you are in the process of influencing him to finally invest in bitcoin. This is the reason why I don’t want to convince or influence someone to take the risk investing in bitcoin, not now and even in the future.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lack of capital or knowledge, which one is holding traders back from profits? on: May 05, 2024, 09:32:26 PM
I’d say both. No one can successfully trade without sufficient amount of knowledge and even a small amount of capital. Although having knowledge will always be the most crucial one, but trading without money will still be useless. So one can only trade with more confidence if he has gained sufficient amount of knowledge and experience in the trading market, and of course a good amount of capital that will make his trading performance highly possible.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: May 05, 2024, 05:59:47 AM
If Canelo were still in his prime this likely would have been an easier fight. Instead, he needed to take some punishment but still got a decisive victory on the judges’ scorecards. Munguia made a good effort, he pressured Canelo and made it more entertaining than Canelo’s previous opponent. His defensive flaws are just too great for him to beat a top pound for pound fighter.
I thought the fight was over when Munguia got floored, but he came back and finish the fight. I would say this guy is really durable, but Canelo is Canelo, he is still strong at this age now and didn't allow Munguia to gain his confidence that could beat him.

When Munguia applied pressure he had some very good moments. There is no doubt in my mind that Benavidez, whose style is similar to Munguia but a lot more polished, with better stamina and more power, would give Canelo a serious beating. We likely won’t get that fight and Canelo will continue padding his record with second rate fighters like Berlanga, but we can still hope that perhaps Turki Alalshikh can find enough money between his couch cushions to make an offer Canelo won’t be able to refuse.
This was an entertaining fight, I thought it would be boring since Canelo is listed as the heavy favorite, but Munguia really came to fight, he survived a knock down and came back strong, though unforunately in the end it was still Canelo who won via unanimous decision.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 05, 2024, 05:15:47 AM
Same result a day before, still 0-3.

Let's break that losing streak.

Magic -4, (win)
I'm following the same pattern, both teams are good at their home court, so the Magic should be able to tie the series and cover the spread.

Dallas -8 . (wi)
last game they beat the Clippers by 30 points, I'm seeing the same scenario, Dallas will be starting strong as they need to finish the series here.

Got this one big time, however, the win rate is still not in the passing  percentage. Let's keep grinding until we hit over 50%.

We have the first game of the semi finals tomorrow between the Nuggets and the Wolves, I guess I'm riding with the home team here as game 1 would usually surprise the visiting team.

Nuggets -4.5

Are you using same amount of bet on all of your bets regardless of the result of bet or you increase your bet whenever the bet lose since this way you can still have a profit despite of your low winning percentage.
Yes, just a percentage of my bankroll. The low percentage of winning does not translate a win to me, I'm currently down but I still have left until the playoffs is over.

Anyway you are already close on having the breakeven if ever you will hit a 3 consecutive bet win. I wonder if the odds that you choose is the same or varies too. What’s your current PnL?

There are only few games so it's easy to come back at over 50%, but I need to be smarter and luckier at the same time. About my pnl, amount is confidential but you can see the big picture by just looking at the winning percentage.

Loss my Nuggets bet, so that would result to decreasing the win rate.

Updated record 10(W)-14(L)..... 42%

So the upcoming game, we only have one which is the game 7 of the Cavaliers and the Magic.

I'm betting the home team, Cavaliers -3.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there strategy to make profit daily future trade on: May 04, 2024, 09:39:46 PM
I have good knowledge with crypto future
I get signals from groups on telegram

But i got idea to make profit daily

I choose some coins potential raise and open long  positions on them and hold

For day until i get profit.. Is this good idea or let me know if there better idea

I won’t comment whether the idea is good or bad. But when it’s your own hard earned money, then why relying on other people’s calls. You should yourself take courage to learn about market analysis and do it yourself to choose the perfect coin to invest. It’s good as long as you are making profits from it. But if you make losses by chance, then you will complain about the source only. Hence, it will be ideal to do your own analysis and do the investment.
You have a good point. It’s your hard-earned money that you are using to invest, so do the things that will make it work and profit. If you have an instinct that signals from telegram are worth to trust, hence prove it to yourself, not to the people here. It’s not that everyone who trust signal groups end up a waste of time and money, some are still profitable in their own ways. But always take some caution. It’s not bad to analyze first all those trading signals and make your good study on it, before you apply them in your trades. Be responsible of your own trades, know what’s best for it and avoid what will ruin it.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Also consider your mental State of health while investing for wealths. on: May 04, 2024, 03:17:02 PM
This is true because we are dealing with something that is filled with stress, at least for most people and that is why it is not that easy to make sure that you could just stay calm while you need to stay calm. If you are going through some rough part of your life then trading on top of that could cause you to have bad reactions to some mistakes and cause you to make even bigger mistakes as well resulting with you making even bigger loss too, which is why it is understandable that people need to feel better before they could start trading.

I personally also suggest that if the stress becomes too big, then taking a break also helps as well. You do not have to be going through a rough time, if trading becomes a chore and not something you enjoy doing then you better end up taking a break.
While trading can be highly profitable and can help us achieve financial success, but know that it has also a lot of risks that any beginner trader may find it hard to overcome. So if that’s the case, that would mean putting your mental and emotional state at risk.

This is the reason why one should not trade or invest if he is not good and capable enough to manage his emotions and mental state. Otherwise, he’ll end up with mental and emotional distress that could lead to personal breakdown due to his own greed and personal interest.
