41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡[ANN]⚡ ▐░Espers [ESP]░▌▐░PoW/PoS░▌▐░HMQ1725 Algo░▌ ▐░New Features░▌ on: August 18, 2020, 01:23:43 PM
The unclaimed coins (totalling ~2 Billion ESP2) have been put into a locked wallet designated as the "Community Fund" (we will be releasing the pubKEY for community members to view what happens with the wallet in order to offer transparency to our community).

But you are right, since there is no account holding 2 billion Espers, this means the coins were spent.

Anyway. At some point in time, when the coins were premined for the swap, 1 address was holding the entire amount for the swap, where the 2 Billion coins unswapped were left over. That is the address I want to see. That's the question.

Luckily this is a public blockchain so everything is publicly verifiable on the block explorer. You are probably looking for this transaction: https://explorer.espers.io/tx/7400ae5f900251e10478e7a85878acf6b71272c5722abaa2d5e0d0b920bbca1b

Apparently the coins were not premined to a single address, but were pre-mined to many different addresses holding 50M coins each, starting with block 11 on the new chain. In the above transaction, 2 billion coins were moved from those pre-mine addresses to the address EHCnQ4CEpbayNng7eW74J9NKqan5Wivbkx on 9/11, 2016. Remember that the swap was carried out by Novaexchange as an escrow, so balances of many different users might have been mixed during the process, which unfortunately makes it difficult to trace back exactly which coins belong to whom.

With respect to the previous discussion, the only thing I can say is that Espers has never been marketed as an investment vehicle and has always been clear about the fact that it's mainly an experimental blockchain technology project by Cryptocoderz. Trading and speculation with crypto tokens is a natural part of the game like you said, but it has never been the purpose of the project and nobody of the team ever asked anyone to purchase coins on crypto exchanges. Everybody who still does so knows about the risks and is doing so strictly on his/her own responsibility.

So if you are complaining about the lack of progress, lagging behind the roadmap and calling the project a "scam", you seem to assume that Cryptocoderz or other people who have contributed to Espers owe the investors anything, which is not the case, because by definition, any announcements made are not promises and prospects made for investors, but simply a declaration of intent for the sake of transparency. Again, it's not a commercial project and sometimes there can be delays or other things getting in the way. Everybody in the Espers community knows this and is ok with it.

Now, even IF Cryptocoderz at some point made some money with this (which he didn't, like he said, but of course we can never know for sure), then I'm only happy for him because he's a fine guy who always cares more about other people's issues than about his own and clearly deserves some compensation for that. If you have been following the project you will know that he clearly doesn't swim in money so there is no reason for envy or any other kind of animosities here.

Wallet on YoBit is still in maintenance mode and not allowing deposits.

Yes, unfortunately that is right. It has been like that for over two years. I tried messaging them about it multiple times, but never got a reply. If you can somehow get in contact with Yobit support about it, feel free to do it! I think one problem is that the listing contact / administrative contact email address that Yobit has was among the accounts that were sold by the previous developer, so we don't have any control about what is happening on Yobit any more.

Generally I strongly recommend against using Yobit anyway because it is one of the shadiest crypto exchanges that exist, so I'm not particularly sad that they have disabled the Titcoin market, except for the fact that we have no alternative exchange at the moment.  Roll Eyes I think that if we manage to get listed on a different, more reputable exchange, that would be a much better option.

No worries ...

Working on that as well mate Wink

#crysx

Sounds interesting, tell me more!  Cheesy

Btw., the first soft fork is active, old blocks v2 by old Titcoin miners are being rejected from now on. If someone did not upgrade their Titcoin pool or miner yet, please do so ASAP.

Unfortunately our block explorer at Blockexperts.com did not update their wallet and they do not reply to support tickets, so it is no longer recommended. If you need a block explorer, please use the one by our community member KriptoKyng: https://kriptokyng.com/explorer/TIT

We would hold your account ...

No matter what, no matter when. We would lock it under our secure system, the BTC address and all information held also. We would keep it active for you until the day you wanted to come back, where you would only have to request it back.

Some people here ARE trustworthy, and you are one of those people mate. We would have no issue looking after anything you left in our systems and Company.

#crysx

Thanks for the kind words.  Smiley  I am trying my best to keep things trustless, i.e. to make everything verifiable so that trust should not be necessary.  Wink

I think the biggest problem right now is getting listed on an exchange! Unfortunately getting listed on exchanges is so hard nowadays, and those that are willing to list demand huge amounts of money for it.  Undecided

If anybody here has any idea on how to get listed on a public exchange for free, or if you are interested in donating an exchange listing fee, please help!

Thanks to the team for yet another exciting newsletter!  Cool

I remember that about a year ago a developer left you and created his own fork. I am not confusing anything? They promised to carry out an airdrop and distribute a new coin in a ratio of 1 to 1 of the Spectrecoin coin balance. How are things going with this?

Hmm I think you're confusing quite a few things here. The only thing that ever forked from Spectrecoin was "Wisp" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5039051.0) which I supported back in the days. But we simply didn't follow the hardfork that was done by the main network, so it was a classical forking scenario, not a new chain. That was two years ago, not one. It never got much traction and is basically dead nowadays.

There are no other forks from Spectrecoin as far as I am aware of.

@Gandalf86

There is a Fake ANN about your ANN here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265150.0

He writes that your Account got sold and he has taken over the Coin now ! I guess thats not right or ?

You can read more about that all in my thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5182222.msg54888491#msg54888491

I have reported the User and the Thread and hope it gets deleted soon .

Regards Lafu

Wow that's crazy! Thanks for letting me know. Apparently the thread has been deleted by the mods already. I guess the user tried to mock the way I continued Titcoin development, but he forgot that there is a thing called verifiable information.  Wink

That being said, my profile is linked to a Bitcoin address for verification, and I will never sell my account here. If I ever leave crypto world, I would just not use this account any more, but never give it to somebody else.

Hi all, we have an exchange listing offer from Crex24 (https://crex24.com/). They will list Titcoin for a listing fee of $3500 or 0.35 BTC. If someone here would like to donate the listing fee, please get in contact with me! Smiley

Titcoin News

I am happy to announce that Titcoin 0.16.3, Update 3 is now considered to be stable!  Smiley This is the first major update of the Titcoin network and comes with various consensus changes. This update will turn Titcoin into a modern, fully-featured cryptocurrency, like it has been planned since I took over development of the coin 2 years ago. You can download the wallet from https://titcoin.github.io/#download

Notable changes are:

  • Strict DER signatures are enforced starting with block 2,400,000. (BIP66) Old blocks with version 2 will be rejected.
  • Support for OP_CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY starting with block 2,400,000. (BIP65) This allows Titcoin to be integrated in some decentralized exchanges that use atomic swaps.
  • Starting deployment of CSV and SegWit on August 1, 2020. This comes with a more modern block architecture, reduces our commit distance from Bitcoin and allows us to use Bech32 addresses starting with the next release.
  • The deployment phase for CSV and SegWit will consist of signaling, where 90% of the miners have to signal for the softfork during a one-month period, and then another lock-in period of one month.
  • Removed old seed nodes. Right now there is only one seed node left that is still running Titcoin version 1, so I hope that we will have more seed nodes for the next release.

Due to the consensus changes, updating is mandatory for all miners and pool operators!

Since this is a major upgrade, I would also like to give a small outlook on our further roadmap:

  • Getting listed on a working altcoin exchange. Yobit is notoriously unreliable and never updated their wallet. Getting listed on a new exchange would allow more people to enter the project and provide real use cases for girls who are getting tipped with Titcoin. As I am seeing it, running supporting infrastructure like block explorers, exchanges etc. is the duty of the community, so please feel free to fill out listing requests for your favorite exchanges, suggest exchanges that we might get added to or even run your own exchange to trade Titcoin!
  • I will work on the next wallet release, which will be released after Segwit is activated (so at the earliest on Oct 1, 2020) and will be based on the current Bitcoin 0.20 wallet. We will change the address format to Bech32 by default, so new addresses will look like this: titcoin1qlplx05858s0t2kxjjkcxmwks40yz7qxsqkuewx. This will be better for marketing because the name of Titcoin is already included in the address.

Hope you all enjoy, please let me know if you encounter any issues and visit us on our Discord room at https://discord.gg/PADaP7s  Cool

Best regards, Gandalf86

Thanks crysx, yes that's the right one.  Smiley Although, as the README.md in the root directory says, I would generally recommend to download the source code ZIP file for the respective release, because the master branch will be frequently rebased.  Wink

Having additional seed nodes would be great because right now there is only one seed node left; the new seed by our community member Cminor was attacked via DDOS so he had to take it down.  Undecided

Hello everyone,

you can now test the beta release of our new upcoming Titcoin version, update 3.  Smiley You can find the download options here: https://github.com/titcoin/titcoin/releases/tag/v0.16.3-titcoin3

The main change of this release is the activation of various Bitcoin softforks (including SegWit and CSV), and it is the first softfork of the Titcoin network since its inception! This is a big step for Titcoin towards becoming a modern, fully-featured cryptocurrency. For more details, please see the changelog at the above link.

There are binary releases for Windows, Mac and Linux. If you want to help testing, please make a backup of your current Titcoin wallet, download the new wallet for your operating system via the above link and test as many features as possible. Please let me know if you find any issues! The release will be marked as stable after a few people have confirmed that everything works as expected for each of the operating system options.

Best regards, Gandalf86

Could you please add my mining site   https://grosscrypto.com/ Thanks Buddy

Done bud, thanks! (For those who don't know, mateable has been a long-term Titcoin member and finally created his own pool!  Cool Make sure to check it out.)
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: June 08, 2020, 07:44:45 AM
Hi all,

I'm currently thinking about enabling BIP66 and BIP65 (block v3 and v4) in order to allow people to use the block version number more freely. Right now, the only legal block version number is 0x00000002, but some people want to use mining techniques like AsicBoost and some pools use custom version numbers to identify their own blocks which currently leads to some problems with Titcoin. Triggering BIP66 would be the first softfork for Titcoin ever, so it would kick out those original Titcoin miners that might still be running.

Are there any miners or pool operators here who have an opinion on this?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: May 30, 2020, 10:07:23 AM
Some small updates!  Smiley

Unfortunately our previous main pool TheCoin.pw got hacked last week and is closing. Our other pool, Mining-Dutch, is closing the Titcoin pool next week due to low usage. Right now we have 2 community members working on creating our own Titcoin poolCool  If anybody wants to add Titcoin to an existing pool, please feel free to do so and let us know.  Smiley

Also, since Novaexchange stopped their service last year, I am looking for a new crypto exchange to get Titcoin listed on! Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Unfortunately I spend my entire money on the Novaexchange listing because it seemed like a promising long-term investment into the future of Titcoin back then. So right now we will either need to be listed on an exchange that does not require listing fees, or rely on a sponsor who can donate the listing fee for us. If you are interested in sponsoring a Titcoin exchange listing, please join our Discord!

I have started a Titcoin giveaway on Reddit that will run for 1 month: https://www.reddit.com/r/showmytitcoin/comments/gsnsb1/free_titcoin_giveaway/
In order to participate, you need to have a Reddit account that is older than 1 month. You can repeatedly earn Titcoins by inviting girls into our community, which is a great way to contribute and accumulate coins without having to invest any money!

Best regards, Gandalf86

and yes we can rent mining power form nicehash but why i want to rent for mine titcoin when i can rent to mine top tier altcoin too and hope for profit.

i think when you have more miner can easy to promote more than tell to everyone want to titcoin go to rent mining power after that when coin popular maybe you change to POS it use less power.

You can always mine a more profitable coin, and then sell the coins and use the income to rent Titcoin mining power.  Wink  After all, mining is just a method for investing energy into a cryptocurrency, and money is just a metaphor for energy. Whether you invest energy or money doesn't really matter. Via Nicehash, even people who do not own any mining equipment can mine Titcoin, which seems to be an advantage to me because it increases the amount of people who can mine the coin.

Search for more website that can accept ithink that is the first step.

Thanks for the suggestion!  Smiley You can help with that! Feel free to post your suggestions of sites that might want to accept Titcoin here in this thread or on Discord and I will send them a message. Maybe we can create some kind of "marketing task force" that reaches out to potential partners?  Cool

Is this coin still active? I like POS coins, especially with 25% - 50% APR. Asking because I see there is not much activity in here nor the others channels.
This ann thread first page is not updated: Novaexchange and Coinexchange says "Good bye, we are closed".
Twitter is not used anymore, last post is from Aug 18, 2019. Facebook the same. Pools are not working.

Is still worth buying this coins?

Dev has some personal issues right now so that's why the resources are not updated. But yes the project is still alive! Most of the community is active on Discord.  Wink
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2020, 06:33:58 PM
Thanks for your suggestions.

i think you no need for suggestions  everything you write in website is right way but not easy to make it.

in this list you need to find good partner  website or merchandise to accept titcoin.

-Tipping your favorite amateur pornography creators
-Buying content from premium porn sites
-Tipping on webcam sites
-Buying Titcoin merchandise with Titcoin
-Buying sex toys and lingerie

Yes that is right. This is actually pretty simple, but it's a lot of work. We need to:

1) Find sites that might be interested in accepting or integrating crypto
2) Send emails or messages or contact them via social media
3) Explain how Titcoin can help them in their specific case
4) Wait for responses, maybe explain more.

If you would like to help with this, you can join Discord for coordination! We can also make a Github wiki page or Etherpad to collect sites that might be interesting and record their response, so that the same site won't get multiple messages from different people.  Cheesy

One idea I had regarding integrating Titcoin on porn sites was this: Since Titcoin has a block time of only 60 seconds, users could "unblock" premium content by sending coins to a unique address that was dynamically generated on the web server for the specific request. That way they could "pay" for premium content without having to buy a premium membership, or even having to make an account! That would have benefits for both users and site operators.  Cool  Users could freely switch between sites that accept Titcoin and only pay for content they actually want.

and first idea for me is change algo from SHA256d to other algo with asics resistance or cpu only.

for anyone not have asic can mine you coin to make titcoin more miner afterthat list in some exchange.

maybe that make titcoin more popular.

You are not the first one to suggest changing the algorithm, but I don't really see a reason to change. Everybody can rent cheap SHA256 hashes from https://www.nicehash.com/ . That's much more price efficient than mining any cryptocurrency at home using your own PC due to electricity costs! And you don't need to buy any equipment.

Yes I am regularly getting in contact with exchanges. Unfortunately many exchanges still want a fee for listing coins, and I spent all of the money that I had reserved for Titcoin on the Novaexchange listing last year. So we will either need to find an exchange that will list Titcoin for free, or find a sponsor who is willing to pay the listing fee. Having an exchange (besides Yobit, which is always in maintenance and never responds to messages) would be great!
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2020, 10:51:35 AM
have any real use case yet?

That's exactly the right question! I have tipped many girls using Titcoin on the ShowMyTitCoin subreddit, and for many of them Titcoin was the first cryptocurrency they have ever used. But large scale adoption is really the main challenge of all altcoins. 95% of altcoins can not be used to buy anything, and that includes Titcoin at the moment.

I am trying really hard to figure out ways how we can build up a community that USES Titcoin for actual stuff!  Cheesy  If you have any ideas or suggestions, please share them. Adoption is really the only thing that is missing yet in order to make Titcoin successful!  Smiley
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titcoin [TIT] - The adult cryptocurrency on: February 29, 2020, 10:28:10 AM
Hello everyone, here are some Titcoin news!  Cool

Reddit

You can now discuss about Titcoin on Reddit on our new subreddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/titcoin/  Cool  This subreddit name was taken in 2013, before Titcoin was originally created. Now the moderators seem to be inactive and I have managed to get access to it and open it for the general Titcoin community to discuss about Titcoin.  Smiley

The previous subreddit r/ShowMyTitCoin remains as a place where girls can ask for tips for arbitrary self-made pornography using Titcoin.

Mining

We have been added to this site which offers interesting mining pool stats for Titcoin: https://miningpoolstats.stream/titcoin Check it out!

Mining activity is still relatively low. Please remember that there will be a halving of the block reward during this summer once again, dropping from 4.3125 to 2.15625 coins, which makes Titcoin extremely hard to mine! This is, in a sense, a good thing because it makes the coins more rare and valuable. If you are planning to mine Titcoin, you should start as soon as possible.

Social Media

Our previous community member @DailyTitCoin on Twitter is inactive. If you would like to run a social media account for Titcoin, please get in contact!  Wink  There are people talking about Titcoin on Twitter almost every day, so it would be great to invite them to join us.

I am active on Discord again (https://discord.gg/PADaP7s) and have reshaped the Discord server to be more appealing for no-coiners who mainly come for the nudes and might be marginally interested in crypto. My goal is increasing the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the pornography scene, so I'm looking for ways to get new people interested in cryptocurrency stuff. If you have ideas that you would like to try out, feel free to join us and let's discuss!  Smiley

Hi guys,

I'm very happy to say that I got my Discord account back, so the Titcoin Discord is active and maintained again!  Smiley  https://discord.gg/PADaP7s

We have a community member there who wants to buy 1M Titcoin, so if you want to sell that might be a great opportunity since Yobit is still in maintenance.
