41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2022? on: June 08, 2022, 07:34:05 PM
Which price of a Litecoin is possible in 2022? What do you expect as alltime-high and price in end of 2022?

The price action of Litecin has been very disappointing since many months so I don't expect any big rise in its price given the current bearish scenario of crypto market so I don't see its price hitting $100 during the year 2022 . Litecoin used to be called mini Bitcoin few years back and it was favorite coin for transferring payment because of its comparatively lower transaction fee but now there new networks have emerged those charge very nominal fee like Tron, BNB and polygon. DYOR
It has become pretty silent around Litecoin, I haven't read or heard about it in some time. I don't really see a use case for it once Bitcoin has a fully operational lightning network. They will need to re-invent themselves or will slowly disappear behind coins with more or easier use-cases (or simply memecoins like Dogecoin). Of course for long term holders there is already some sort of "nostalgic" value, but this is not enough to recruit new users.

Belgium will not be able to disappoint again for its own audience. They didn't feel like it at all against the Netherlands, they can't afford to deliver another bad performance against Poland. Poland is of course also a lot worse than the Netherlands. The brown one will have to show a little more now. I suspect that the Netherlands will easily win this group in the Nation League.
It's almost half time and Belgium is behind 0-1 against Poland. Lewandowski striked again and now Poland looks like it can even win this game. Current odds are 2.7/3.3/2.5, so Poland is slightly favored. I am still puzzled how Belgium was able to reach FIFA rank 2. It's not like they won the last Euro or World Cups  Huh

Scotland vs Armenia is at 2-0, a less surprising result. Scotland will take home a save victory it seems

edit: just as I'm writing Belgium could equalize! 1-1! so now it is getting more interesting again, maybe we'll see another Lewandowski Wink
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 08, 2022, 05:03:51 PM
Grin Great justification! Even without this, I was planning to bet on the Netherlands but now I am 100% sure of the bet, it remains to pick up some additional match to increase the odds (I prefer multi bets), but Scotland seems unreliable to me.
The final World Cup qualifiers will take place on June 13th and 14th and at the moment I have no idea about these couples.
Well apart from that, Netherlands is also the stronger team  Wink
Odds are (Wales vs Netherlands) 7.3/4.6/1.4, so not a good quote for Netherlands winning, but maybe a safe bet?
Tonight there is also Belgium vs Poland (1.6/3.9/5.Cool, here it might be interesting to bet that Belgium won't win? Or are Belgium as strong as there FIFA rank suggests?

Aber sehr spekulativ das Ganze, wenig ansteckend und milde Verläufe, da gibt es einen Grund warum da kein anderer intensiv dran forscht mMn
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 08, 2022, 05:52:11 AM
Glad that Australia won. They deserve a place in the World Cup much more than the United Arab Emirates. Still they have one more challenge, and that is going to be the playoff match against Peru. Honestly, I believe that the Australians would be the underdogs in this match. CONMEBOL and UEFA teams are a level ahead of the AFC and CAF teams. Peru has decades of experience in playing against some of the strongest teams in the world, such as Brazil, Argentina and Chile. And Australia is yet to fill the vacuum left by Tim Cahill.
Australia's win was kind of expected, even though it was a pretty close score at the end. Austrialia (FIFA rank 42) is definitely the underdog vs Peru (rank 22). South American teams are pretty strong in general and must go through a tough qualification league. Peru came out 5th out of 10 South American teams, while they had trouble against the "big ones" (Brazil, Argentina), they frequently bet the smaller South American teams in the qualification. I think Peru will win this last game and book their ticket to the World Cup.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 08, 2022, 05:46:05 AM
It was a quiet game with England needing an 88th miunute penalty kick to rescue a point for England away in Germany. I think the intensity of the footballers in the Nations league is low generally, perhaps because they just concluded a long season at their respective clubsides.

Meanwhile, the tie ended Germany 1-1 England, and Italy defeated Hungary with 2 GOALS TO 1
Not too surprising results, but still a good achievement of Italy to beat Hungary. I wonder if Italy will take this tournament more serious (compared to other big teams) as they failed to qualify for the World Cup and might want to win another trophy anyway Smiley
Germany vs England ended with a draw, which was more or less deserved if you look at the overall game. Of course a last minute penalty most of the time is a lucky thing, but it's not like Germany was dominating this match. Let's now wait for the next round (England vs Italy and Hungary vs Germany) when everybody has played the other group members to see how the ranking looks like. I think Germany will beat Hungary but England vs Italy is a pretty open game where everything is possible. If Italy can win there, they will be the favorite to win the group.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 07, 2022, 07:30:14 AM
Traditionally, Denmark beat Austria and both teams scored goals... My bet worked! Grin Croatia, on the other hand, played an even game against France... To be honest I thought France would win without any problems, but after the big loss to Austria Croatia showed a good result...
Congrats  Grin
Croatia was a bit lucky with their late penalty to equalize. France still has some problems, but I am pretty sure they will beat Austria in the next game Friday.

I am looking forward to Italy vs Hungary (1.5/4.0/7.3) and Germany vs England (2.3/3.3/3.3) tonight. Hungary is a difficult opponent. They bet England and they won't make it easy for Italy either. A bet on "Italy doesn't win" is tempting. In the other game I don't think Germany will beat England. But the payout is not super high for that (1.6), but maybe worth a shot?
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 07:08:46 PM
tonight, Croatia and France looks as goalless draw, although I picked France to win in a pool
The quotes by bookmakers are more equally distributed in tonight's games, it seems they also learned from the games in the last days.  Wink
Croatia vs France is at 3.3/2.95/2.3 (20min into the game, score 0-0). I think France will win, they need to give some retribution after their loss
Austria vs Denmark is at 2.9/3.5/2.4. Given the fact that Denmark bet France, they are not hugely favored against the much weaker Austria. Denmark should be able to at leat not lose tonight.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 02:32:49 PM
You are not alone,we have almost all here lost money in the Nations League, some of us also said in a radical way that we are not going to bet a single ticket anymore on the Nations League,I also said something similar yet here I am placing bets on Denmark to win and France to win.The gamblers do not imagine life without a form of gambling, especially when big events like this one are ongoing it is only natural for us to gamble and watch the game with emotion, otherwise we would not be gamblers.
I guess for each lost bet there is one that was won  Grin
Somebody that consistently put their money on the weaker teams probably made a nice profit by now, even though there is no guarantee that this will continue in the next round of games. But it seems that the "strong" teams are not very motivated, whereas the less stron teams see their chances to get good results against the teams with the big names.

There were Argentina-Estonia match at last night. Estonia were defeated so badly by Messi. Messi showed the whole world that he is the Goat. He is a really alien. Messi scored 5 at last night. He gave an spetacular performance. We are so lucky to have watched him.
While Messi's performance was truly impressive, I wonder how the Argentinian team will play against stronger opponents. It is easy to play brilliant if your opponent lets you do it. Estonias FIFA rank is 110th, way worse than the ranks of the teams qualified to the World Cup. It remains to be seen how strong Argentina really is. I don't think they will have problems in their group (Saudi-Arabia, Poland and Mexico), but they will need to be strong if they want to survive the knock out games.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 06, 2022, 05:56:55 AM
Czech Republic 2-2 Spain

The performance of the Czech Republic surprised me. They possessed only 21% of the ball, and in 90 minutes they made a total of 3 shots. However, they managed to draw the match 2-2. Although we saw the dominance of Spain in the whole match, they could not win.
Yea, the Czech Republic was very efficient last night. But one should consider that they focused on defense after their early lead and Spain is a team known for their usually high ball posession %. They defended well and even were able to get a 2-1 lead again. In the end Spain was lucky to go home with a point, even though looking at the overall game they would have deserved a win.

In the next days are some more interesting pairings:
Croatia vs France
Italy vs Hungary
Germany vs England
Belgium vs Poland
Wales vs Netherlands

People did and do complain about the Nations League, but it does produce nice pairings Wink
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 05, 2022, 07:30:00 PM
did not expected from Czech republic much in Nations league, but they won first, and now have 1:0 in second match
Portugal is now up against Swiss, but have to say that Spain looked more like a winner to me, compared to Portugal
Portugal is now ahead 3-0 and it's safe to say they will go home as a winner tonight.
Spain on the other hand is behind 1-0. The still have the 2nd half to equalize or even win the game, but the Czech Republic is not an easy opponent tonight. Current odds are 2.1/3.0/3.75 (Czech Rep vs Spain), so bookmakers favor the Czech Rep now.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 05, 2022, 07:27:21 PM
The game is over and Wales won 1-0. Ukraine put up a good fight and they were the better team looking at the overall statistics, but if you don't score any goal you can't complain when you lose, especially in such important knock-out games. Ukraine might have been the stronger team to qualify, but I think Wales will be motivated to play well for their first World Cup qualification in 64 years!
Wales will now join England, USA and Iran in the first round group of the World Cup, congratulations!
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io UEFA Nations League Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 05, 2022, 04:32:00 PM
I did the same.Put a win on Portugal and Spain tonight. They drew against each other in the first game of the their group and the game looked like they were playing normally. Now if they play normally tonight too, then it is only natural for them to win their games against Czech and Switzerland.I am not going to be as radical as you and only go for the underdogs as I think most teams will probably wake up after losing their first game should bring them back to their senses.
Both (Spain and Prtugal) are expected to win their games tonight, still risky to bet on them after we saw some very surprising results in the last days. Bookmakers pay like 1.7 for a win of Spain or Portugal in their respective games.
There will be also Sweden vs Norway (teams of similar strength) and Serbia vs Slowenien (Serbia expected to win) tonight.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 05, 2022, 04:28:58 PM
Wales - Ukraine game looks difficult to predict, both teams is very similar level. Ukraine weren't favorites against Scotland, but they completely outplayed them. But I don't expect such scenario today. Bale didn't played for Real during season, but he remains to be key figure in Wales squad
As mentioned above, Wales play very well at home, but I think Ukraine will have big support too, like they had in Scotland. I'm backing Ukraine to win.
The game just started. Bookmakers give very open odds, it's pretty much a 50-50 for the qualifying team and 33-33-33 for the result after 90 minutes. Not many goals are expected (more than 2.5 pays 3.5). Let's hope for an interesting game. I don't think Ukraine will be scoring goals as easily as against Scotland. Maybe we'll even end up with a decision with penalties?
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: June 04, 2022, 03:58:53 PM
Personally, I don’t think those results mean anything.
Most of the top footballers from Croatia, France, Belgium ... had a very difficult season and they are very tired and not ready for this competition.
Realistically, it is an irrelevant competition and coaches mostly use it to give young players the opportunity to play and to prove that they can replace older players, such as Dalic, the Croatian coach, did in the match between Croatia and Austria.
All those national teams and players will be completely ready when the World Cup comes.
I see your points, however, normally the World Cup would be starting in 1-2 weeks. Now this year it is exceptional with the November/December schedule, however, do you think that the players will be less tired and more ready then? It will be in the middle of the new season and players might not have their heads clear for a World Cup.
Of course the Nations League is not a huge or prestigeous tournament, but argueably it is quite bit above the level of just friendly games.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: June 04, 2022, 06:58:35 AM
Did somebody follow the Nations League in Europe? There were some interesting games of teams of the World Cup. Many of the suffered surprising defeats, looks like they are not in form yet, good that the World Cup only starts in November and there still is some time for imporvements Wink
Croatia vs Austria 0-3: Austria is not qualified. Croatia had to suffer their first defeat against them.
France vs Denmark 1-2: Those two are in the same World Cup group and France is one of the favorites, but they had to suffer a defeat against Denmark
Belgium vs Netherlands 1-4: Belgium is rank 2 of the FIFA ranking, quite a high defeat for them
Spain vs Portugal 1-1: Always an interesting duel. Ronaldo only played the last 30minutes
Czech Rep vs Switzerland 2-1: The Czech Rep is not qualified, but Switzerland is.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: June 03, 2022, 11:14:10 AM
I do see option of turning on two factor authenticator with mobile authenticator.  So basically to protect your waves account you do this and turn on google authenticator... so even if someone has your waves email and password, they still need the google authenticator code?  That makes sense but what if you lose your phone?

The thing that confuses me is why does this method not have a seed phrase... but what do you need to write down if you lose your email/password access and your phone etc?  That access key looks like at least 600 letters.

You need both password AND google authenticator code to log in. Only one of the two is not enough.

The google authenticator app has an option to export/duplicate all your codes onto another phone. Also it should have given you a "seed" (either a long password or a QR code) when you added your waves account to the google auth app, which you also can use to restore it in case your phone is lost or stolen

But yea, if you lose your password OR the google authenticator code you will be locked out of your account, so treat those like they are your seed phrase.

This week for Bitcoin
~
This would be way better readable/understandable coming with a chart. In general I agree that after the heavy downtrend of the last weeks it is time for a break with some counter-movement a bit back up. Let's see how far it can go up before the sellers appear in larger numbers again. Somehow I don't expect the end of the bear market just yet, it might go on for a couple of months longer.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: June 02, 2022, 11:01:45 AM
Despite England good performance i doubt they could make it to the next round as well, just as predicted by OP and i think Ukraine needed the qualifications to the next stage than any other country as for now, we all know football is unpredictable to an extent as anything new is prone to happen, if we consider Germany to England performance we could see that the margin is much high and i doubt England would be able to scale through it group when faced with the almighty United State which is another challenge again.
Hm almighty USA? We are still talking about football (soccer), right?  Wink
England shouldn't have big problems with their group, I think they are a whole class higher than them. They will easily beat 2 out of their 3 opponents (USA, Iran and Wales or Ukraine) which will be enough for qualification to the next round. I think they will come out on top of their group.
The USA can be happy if they do win a single game and don't come out last in their group.
