But if you are in a sport fans and betting on a game that you know, then there are good chances or at least you have a greater chance to win because you know the teams and the sports itself.
Sport is also luck, including football that is mostly common among the sport matches. To win 2x in sport betting is very difficult and most gamblers prefer to go for the stronger clubs which have less than 2 odds. Example is when Manchester City is playing with a club, the odd can be as low as 1.1 but there is a chance that Manchester City can still lose or draw. Anything can happen in football, the underdog may win or draw. In casinos you will see 2 odd and 3 odd games easily but that is hard in sport because the 2 or 3 odds in sport have very low chance to win unlike in casinos.

Maybe what you meant is unpredictability of games, and so it's no luck in opinion. I'm not familiar with football though, but in basketball, there are great comeback in the 4th quarter or winning shots and we seldom here them says that the team won because of luck, but it's more of what we call breaks of the game.

So anything can really happen in any sports, could be underdog winning or the favorite with 1.01 odds even losing.

More on the breaks and opportunities coming to teams that eventually win in the end.

43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 11, 2024, 06:51:53 AM
The Pacers held on to the series, if they lost today it was over. Nembhard took some bad shots, but he scored on the most important one.
The Knicks are plagued by injuries. It's affecting Brunson, too. He shot poorly but McBride and Burks contributed at emergency times, DiVincenzo was very good in this game. But on the other side there's a reality called Haliburton. Siakam and Turner's rebound dominance in the last minutes was important. Game 4 could be similar, Pacers still need to protect the home court.

That last second shot was crazy. I’ve never even heard of Nembhard… Glad the Pacers are still in it though.

Yes, no one thought that Nembhard will be that big in this game, with that clutch three and it looks like Steph Curry shot.

The Denver Nuggets look like they are going to steal a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. They’re leading pretty good at the half. It’s now or never for them. If they lose tonight they go down 0-3 and its all over.

And they did, bad shooting night for the Timberwolves, crowd are silence and can't believe that they've lost this game and maybe thinking that they should be up by 3-0 already and sweeping the defending champions.

But like any other great teams, they have adjusted, Gordon is shooting good and so is Murray. So this series is back on track again with this huge win by the Nuggets.

Safe ba yung bank or gcash account kapag ginamit sa sugal kabayan? Pero yeah play at your own risk parin talaga lalo na at alam natin na isa sa rason dyan is pwede tayong maluge or pwede tayong mascam. I know people earning hundreds of thousands or even millions of pesos dun lalo na yung kakilala kong wala din kwenta kasi lulong sa pinagbabawal na gamot dun nauubos pera nya sayang.

45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Expertise in Sports and Sports Market Knowledge on: May 10, 2024, 09:02:21 PM
The later part is always the fact here. Being knowledgeable on what you are doing especially sports will give you higher winning chance rate since you are partly relying on your skills and not pure luck. Sportsbook has a house too which means being knowledgeable can counter this initial handicap from the casino.
You do not have to be confused, people should see gambling as pure luck. Be it casino games or sport matches on betting sites. It is good to know that casinos are not for sport betting but some sites are both casinos and bookies. Casinos provide casinos games while bookies provide sport matches betting.

Correct, but it can be applied to luck based games right?

But if you are in a sport fans and betting on a game that you know, then there are good chances or at least you have a greater chance to win because you know the teams and the sports itself.

And most likely that's why the quote is confusing, how can a "not knowing" = profitable in sports betting?
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: May 10, 2024, 08:40:43 PM

But not this is very different, but not sure if Frank Martin is ready on what Tank is going to throw as him. Tank's power and then this ability to also adjust in the game. Martin could be technical but I do think that Tank is far more superior in terms of the tools and we might see Martin getting knock out here.

I have seen some of Frank Martin's fights, and he is good compared to Romero, and he has good movement in the ring, the only fighter who posed a big challenge on Tank was Pitbull Cruz, but based on what I see now it looks like Martin can give Tank a tough fight, he is not intimidated just look on their face off he did not even blink or back up when Tank confronts him, he is not afraid of Tank's antics in the ring which is good so we are going to expect a good fight ahead.
But expect a lot of thrash talks. It started with a sparring. They will end it in a real fight in the ring.

I agree, Pitbull was a tough customer for Tank Davis and I think that's the fight that Davis was hit a lot of times in the face, but he shows that he has a good chin as well and was able to eat all that power and then win, although he had injured his hands.

But Martin is a different kind of fighters, sparring should be keep secret though, in my opinion and it should not be used as gauge. But this era is very different, many videos are very leaked by some outside source and then used to hype any fight right now.

There is a video circulating about Haney and Tank getting into a heated argument,

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/jq3oMrHUQLo

Lol, only to settle their beef is to really face each other and fight. Although Tank is at 135 lbs and Haney move up to 140 lbs, maybe they can face each other at a catch weight? Or better yet, Tank goes to 140 lbs, he already fight once at this division when he fought Barrios.
48  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: May 10, 2024, 12:14:33 PM

49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: May 09, 2024, 09:44:56 PM
Casimero doesn't have any to bring for Inoue except that taunting, which I think the camp of Inoue has matured already from all the antics of Casimero and that's whey his name is not even mentioned.

I think Casimero's named was mentioned during an interview after Inoue defeated Marlon Tapales, but for sure Casimero is not the priority since his ranking is low. However, for a champion that has been disrespected everytime, I think he should accept the challenge of Casimero so he can shup him up. Inoue vs Casimero, such a good title, and I think the fans will be fully satisfied as sure this fight will end in KO, not sure who will win but I know it's going to be fun.

And this could be the reason why Inoue says that he wanted to stay in this division. At least have his own hit list just like what Floyd did at 147 lbs. And there are two names that we wanted him to fight and one of them is Casimero.

But for now, Bob Arum is hinting on a Australian fighter and the mandatory and rank #1 Sam Goodman, still a good fight in my opinion.

There is also a champion at 126 lbs who says that he is waiting for Inoue to go up in weight class and meet him. So I guess the hype is still there for other boxers to fight the Monster and test themselves out and find out if they can defeat the Japanese or not as he has shown his weakness already with Nery drop him.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Max Win is the worst thing that could happen to you. on: May 09, 2024, 09:25:04 PM
I'm not sure and I cant imagine about hitting max payout in a casino since I'm small gambler only so I'm sure that my biggest win will not be something really huge that will not lead into KYC.
Lets say I have the chance to win so huge amount of money, whether it will be a nightmare or not, it will be depending on how the casino serve me.
It will be a nightmare if the casino make it hard for me in the verification process but if the casino is friendly enough then it will not be a nightmare.

Or if the casino you played has history of you just betting normal and suddenly you hit the mega jackpot or one of the biggest price, for sure they are  going to look at your account and then see it but normal, maybe there could be no KYC after all.

And that is the difference between landbase and online, if you win in landbase they can't deny you from giving you that win except for certain cases. But in online, it could be mandatory KYC, choice your poison.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 09, 2024, 09:13:23 PM
I definitely did not see Wolves going up 2-0 against Nuggets AT ALL! That is seriously incredible, this Anthony Edwards dude is doing way too much, like way more than I could ever imagine, and I am not just talking about offense, he is great there of course, but he is great at defense as well.

I can see the comparisons to MJ to be fair, not about talent or level but about the playstyle that they had on their early years. I am not saying Wolves will win the title, but I think it looks quite obvious that we are going to end up with seeing them do quite well, and maybe even have that chance. Celtics look like they do not have much competition at east this season, it would require a big upset for them to not be at the finals, and I think they may even have a chance to win the whole thing.
I also did not expect Nuggets' situation at all. If someone told me they would lose two games at home like this, I would never have believed. What Timberwolves are doing is quite important. Nuggets are kinda in their prime also IMO, they were not bad at all. Timberwolves's defence is getting really good. Edwards's situation is also getting very interesting. He is 'at least' as athletic as Jordan. Since kobe, very few players have come to the league with such a high level of both defence and offence. His potential is really high. Right now, he is the most exciting player for me.

Yes, it's really there defense on the Nuggets in the first 2 games that really surprises everyone, it's not physical defense or something, but it was enough to bother the Denver and they don't have any answers so far even if they played at their homecourt.

And then we have the young ANT and probably it's a sign in the NBA that the young core are taking it over. No Steph and Lebron in this playoff, but we have ANT, SGA and others very young and star players putting up a show for this year, times have change now.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You sing A Journal, Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 09, 2024, 12:51:33 PM
There is a thread about a guy who created a thread about his bet and will make it his journal for betting

Hi everyone, I am going to attempt to turn 0.05 BTC into 1.7 BTC with football/soccer betting. I will be using this post as a journal for my bets.

I want to ask: Are Using A Journal or Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling? My reasoning is that by creating a spreadsheet or a journal, you are taking gambling seriously and looking for ways and a means to win in sports betting or luck-based games.

Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?

Nah, mate, I don't think we need journals for our gambling bet on how much we are +/-. Might just put to much pressure on the gambling to let's say he see that he has been losing money already and so he continues to play just to break even.

But some of us are just enjoying or having some fun so this kind of journal will not serve any purpose.

And isn't if if he has reach 1.7 BTC then he should stop as he had that goal reach already. So regardless if you are going to write it down, it won't change anything as long as we you have a goal in your mind.

NYK for me, -4.5 @1.87, ganda ng laban, akala ko talo na Knicks at lumabas is Brunson.

54  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Signature campaign question on: May 08, 2024, 03:07:18 PM

55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: May 08, 2024, 02:30:36 PM
That is modern sport. Specially boxing that is considered as one of corrupted sports ever. I have seen many examples when athletes won medals during Olympic games, then they get caught with doping after. And in the end they keep medals (never return them), at home they return as heroes, and people only remember their victories. Nobody cares what happens after. Now the world knows that Instagram boy beat papa's prodigy. How he did it, nobody cares. Most people will believe only to knockdowns in fight highlights. And in addition, if they have a rematch, emotionally Haney will be loosing position.

Haney could be resting this year as what Bill says, and regardless if he has taken steroids or not, doesn't matter as you have said, Haney has been dominated and it will not change anything in the rematch. And Haney is the heavier boxer in fight night but Ryan has the power, no rehydration clause although went over weight, but still 3 pounds is not enough because as reported, Haney chooses to be the heavier. And I think this should be the weight class of Ryan Garcia though, he is borderline 147 lbs so I wouldn't be surprised that he will fight in this division next with some tune up fight before taking up the champions.

It will be insulting on his part to be confirm tha the used steriod only to loss to Ryan. I guess Haney is not really a hall of famer, he found his kyptonite in Ryan and there's no way the rematch will happen, unless there's a huge money waiting that Ryan will ensure he'll get a bigger slice of the pie. Ryan had already told us that he won't give Haney a rematch as it was pretty obvious how he domination him, in short, Ryan does not find Haney deserving of the rematch.

Or careful match making in the part of this father, against a old Linares, he was shook already and had wobbly legs in that fight. And obviously, that is the sign that Haney doesn't have a good chin to begin with and then he didn't face the best of 135 lbs like Tank Davis or Shakur Stevenson and then he moved up to 140 lbs and faces the old and fading Regis Prograis.

And even at the Loma fight, some of us thinks that he lost that fight and he was again very lucky that the judges favor him. But in this fight, yeah, his kryptonite is Ryan's power and lightning speed and so his aura of invincibility has been shattered and it could be the same result in game 2 if he chooses to run that course.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: May 08, 2024, 12:48:04 PM
Wow, last post was a month ago and now we are in the fight week already,

To pump up for this fight, everyone watch the promo,

Both on the hill hill of their career, whoever wins will surely be the champion and career continue. But the loser will have to go back to the drawing board and it might take several fights if they want to continue with their career or to get back and have another crack at the belt.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: May 08, 2024, 11:29:22 AM
Did you see the interview after the fight? Bob Arum brought Sam Goodman in the ring to stand beside Naoya Inoue already heheheh. This man Bob only wants another hyped scam that does not give fans a thrilling experience. These promoters should learn from Eddie Hearn and Mr. Net Stockings Oscar dela Hoya. They are the promoters of King Ry and Devin Haney.

I reckon Casimero should fight someone in the rankings immediately and create an argument that he should be the next challenger for Inoue.

I guess was right when he said that Inoue is only a world champion in Japan because he is only fighting in Japan and does not challenge him which I think has a decent chance of upsettting the monster. Well, Inoue is not a monster anymore IMO, he can knock out an opponent, no question about that but when he is hit by a solid punch, we can see him again down on the floor, and if that was coming from a KO artist like Casimero, then probably Inoue's hype would be over soon.

I don't understand why Bob keep bringing opponents to Inoue that we all know doesn't stand a chance, why not try to bring the guy that has been challenging him and that the fans believe will give a 60-40 fight.

That's Bob blue print to make Inoue looks great in the eyes of the fans. Casimero might be good, but perhaps he has no longer the hype that once he had when he is at 118 lbs and that's why they don't want Bob to give him a chance. And who knows, maybe they are all in connivance with his former promoter MP promotions that Sean Gibbons and Bob have this unwritten rule not to let Casimero have a crack with the way he severe his ties with Manny Pacquiao's promotion.

For all we know, Sean Gibbons take it personally, all he wanted is for Casimero to have a public apology, but he chooses not to and now under a Japanese promoter, Treasure Boxing Promotion.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 08, 2024, 10:12:20 AM
And with that, Murray realizes that they are not facing the LA Lakers anymore  Grin.

They should have realized it by now, they have thrown a lot of defenders on him, Naz Reid length was too much for him, throw in another good 2 way player in Alexander Walker. And finally ANT. For Jokic it was KAT and the whole Wolves ganging as well in offensive rebounds.

It's obviously very different when Jokic can read the Lakers defense on him and Rui was too small and he knows how to get AD into foul trouble.

As for the Celtics vs Cavs series, I guess everyone has predicted that the Celtics are going to win it maybe 4-1 or a sweep. What's interesting is the Pacers vs New York series as it ended in controversy.

60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: May 07, 2024, 09:04:27 PM
I have seen some fight highlights of Nery and I got to say that there's not a lot of things worth mentioning, he's an okay boxer and I think that he could stand up for himself but pitting him against Inoue, I don't think that he's up for it. It's probably a knockout from Inoue, dude's a monster in the ring so I'm not sure how we can be too dismissive or at the least too indecisive about this one, it's definitely Inoue's win.

He was a champ and a top boxer in the division, there's got to be something on him that's why he sort of knocked down Inoue. If the chin of Inoue is just vulnerable to such hit, Inoue wouldn't be able to stand. A lot of people people actually celebrated that knocked down thinking Inoue's career will be over.

Of course, Nery is one of the best. Inoue plans to defend the title 3 times in this division but I think it's time to move up 126.
Moving to 126? I highly doubt that on which Inoue would really be might be staying up a while on this division considering that this is the place on which he had been able to taste up that 1st knockdown into his entire
boxing career on which he would really be definitely be having into his mind that if he would really be taken down on this division then going upwards might really be that a bit more a problem considering
power punches on higher division is really that more comparing into the current one but if he would really be able to rush up himself on getting those different division belts or unifying them all then definitely
he would considering on moving up but i highly doubt that. He might be staying up for a while into this division but well who knows right?

Yeah, but definitely if his body can't squeeze at 122 lbs, sooner or later he will have to move up at 126 lbs. He has almost clean up the division already, except for a couple of names. And so if he has intentions he can fight either Casimero or Akhmadaliev and that's it, he had clean this division.

And it's hard to maintain that 4 belt that he had, at some point he can't defend the belt from it's mandatory because they are looking for money fights, big fights that will bring them good money. So he can be stripped as well in the future. But I do agree that 126 lbs is going to be different for him as he will fight naturally bigger guys.
