1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2023, 10:00:13 PM
In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? or  is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?
Just chesk this source

It's because gambling bring a different feeling to individuals, there is adrenaline that you feel in the body when you play especially if you are winning big. And obviously gambling has been with humans ever since so it's like it is engrain to us whether we like it or not. And there are individuals who like to have quick money, so instead of investing and having this kind of waiting game for bitcoin like when is the next bull run to make huge profits etc, they will just throw their money on gambling. Maybe there are gamblers here who plays and then invest on BTC at the same time.
1022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: July 20, 2023, 09:41:55 PM
I expected to see a pullback, but I am a little surprised that it’s happened while the stock market is rallying so hard. Tech stocks seem to have been given the all clear to get back into rally mode. The NASDAQ is going crazy and yet Bitcoin is down slightly while investors are fleeing Coinbase stock. It’s like they know something we don’t.
Maybe someone really knows something. But I'm also surprised that the stock market is doing well and bitcoin is treading water. But still there is hope that the key level will be broken soon, because bitcoin seems to be fixed above 30k. In any case, the price is stable in a narrow range.

For stock market, maybe they have inside information, and most likely this is what happening as investors  are pouring their money on NASDAQ and probably withdrawing their crypto and shift it. And that's why Bitcoin market is currently down below our support line of $30k.

Nevertheless, I don't think that this will last long, sooner or later this big shot Wall Street investors will go back to Bitcoin investments. That's how many are made by this smart people, they constantly move their money to make more money.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2023, 09:29:49 PM
He's different and has a different approach towards his body, he invests a lot on it and if every player is getting a huge contract as his. Then, for sure that they'll also the same self care with their bodies and will invest $1M on it yearly.
LeBron is a good example because, despite being an exceptional player, he still ensures to take care of his body. You can really tell that he is a disciplined man, unlike other superstars who love to party and enjoy their fortunes made in the NBA, which can lead them to forget about their future. At Lebron's age now, he still a decent player who could easily average a double double, so I'm sure he'll stay for awhile.

It's really amazing how Lebron continues to play at a high level. Not saying he is the only one capable of doing it but there are only a few superstars that can do near his average. He can score, not just thru volume attempts but his accuracy remains very good. His eye coordination is still great along with his reflexes reason why his assist is still high. And despite his age, he continues to grab rebounds consistently. It also means Bron is taking care of his body a lot. He is also open to the way he invested millions of dollars to help maintain his body. So from nutritionists, therapists, and other health experts traditional or modern, Bron is into it.

Yes, and they are just freak athlete, their genes are really different that's why they excel like Lebron. Plus he learn to protect his body when he started to earn millions. Unlike other guys, maybe they just bought cars during their prime but didn't put any effort to improved their body to a gruelling 82 games and that's why others became injured early. And with those invested money, it has return a lot for James as he seldom misses games and still perform better than 90% of the players in the NBA.

Numbers are out of the Garcia vs Davis fight, and it was reported that it made $100 million.

https://twitter.com/RyanGarcia/status/1681758159889891328

And then Ryan Garcia made $30 Million ++, Obviously Gervonta Davis made more $40 million ++. So the next superfight is Spence-Crawford, and so we will see how big the money will be for them and maybe it's hard to topple the numbers that Garcia-Davis did here.
1025  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Trusted PH Online Casino na tumatanggap ng gcash? on: July 20, 2023, 09:06:21 PM
Na check mo na arenaplus.ph? At inplay.ph? Pagcor credited sila at partnered ng evolution gaming at most likely may gcash payments din both deposit and withdrawals.

I guess exciting ang Evolution gaming kaya siguro attracted tayo dito.

There is also a news that Teo Lopez is back and is looking for a 140 lbs clash with Devin Haney. We all know that Teo said that he has officially retired after beating Josh Taylor. Now, WBO has order a fight between Arnold Barboza and Jose Ramirez. But Lopez was given 24 hours to respond and block that fight and so he did. But he wanted Haney in his return as Devin says that he will move up in weight. So lots of interesting development here.

Not to boast but I expected this to happen, not to Devin Haney as a target specifically but I already thought that Teo Lopez might surprise us again as he now feel the urge to be somebody as he is now a champion at 140 lbs. because there is no sense at all in retirement at such an early age after winning a championship.

Shakur is trying to enforce his mandatory with the WBC against Haney at lightweight. There is some real animosity between Teo and Haney so that is also an interesting option. Lomachenko is the most deserving of an opportunity due to how close their fight was. It appears that Haney isn't interested in any of these options and will instead fight Regis Prograis. Eddie Hearn must have made a massive offer since that is probably the least interesting option for Haney. Regis Prograis looked awful in his last fight and couldn't even sell tickets in his hometown.

On a positive note, if Haney vacates his lightweight titles then we will probably see Shakur vs. Lomachenko which is one of the best matchups that can possibly be made.

Yes, WBC now has mandated Haney to fight Shakur. So Haney has until Friday to decide whether he wanted to pursue that fight or not. If he goes to 140 lbs, then it will be Regis Prograis waiting for him.

Hard decision for Haney?

Less risk for him is Prograis obviously.

High risk is Shakur. But definitely more money in the table perhaps. But I think Shakur has a good chance to pull an upset.

What do you guys think of all this Zach Lavine rumor stuff going on?  I would say it's nonsense, but I listen to Chicago Sports radio on a daily basis and they are starting to say "where there's smoke, there's often fire".  So I think there's a legit chance he does get traded... but what I can't figure out is why on earth they signed Nikola Vucevic if they plan to trade Lavine?

Bulls basketball starting to look real ugly again. SMH

https://sports.yahoo.com/keep-eye-bulls-zach-lavine-170015705.html

It's because the Bulls have been rebuilding in the last couple of years with acquisition of Vucevic and then DeRozan. And yet they can't even win games in the playoff. So perhaps Lavine frustrations is growing. And I think even before their season end last year, there have been noises already that Lavine might leave Chicago with the same reasons. So we will see how it goes, if star players are unhappy with their franchise then I wouldn't be surprise if Lavine behind the back might be asking for a trade right now from the management.

If may access yung hacker sa account mo, they can easily remove those notes.  Cheesy
Just like Baofeng said, best practice talaga is due diligence sa part ng lender.

1029  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.GAME do not support on: July 16, 2023, 03:41:57 PM
I would like to leave here my indignation with BC.Game. I've been trying to solve a problem for 3 weeks and the support only knows how to open tickets and promise deadlines that they don't meet. The problem is, I'm entitled to an affiliate reward. But I don't think the site wants to pay. Anyone else having problems with this site?

I'm sorry to hear that, unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. It seems that BC.Game official representative has stop login to this community and so we don't know what is happening behind their gambling platform as of this late.

Maybe you can go to arbitration, as your worst case scenario (https://www.askgamblers.com/submit-complaint), best of luck.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Help to rescue on: July 16, 2023, 02:02:50 PM
I have DOT in my portfolio and it is down 79% as of today. The amount I've put there is quite big for me. The average buy price per DOT is 25.80USD. The price of DOT today is 5.38.
So the question is what are my options to rescue the money I've put into it? Is there anything I can do or I just wait?

Did you sell or not? if not then it is just a paper lost nothing else. Unfortunately though, I'm not a investor of DOT so it's hard to give advices here. And mind you, even if I'm a investor, we seldom give financial advises here.

So the best thing to do is to really is maybe just wait as you have said. It might be long though as the next bull run is projected to be in 2024-2025 and hopefully you can break even by that time.

And maybe this is a expensive lesson for you, and that you should invest majority of your portfolio to BTC.
1031  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 16, 2023, 01:12:47 PM
There are many diverse opinions about following one's passion and wealth. I read two stories of people who followed their passion, and in a short period of time, the businesses became very profitable.

In story 1, Defossey left a job at Apple to open a BBQ restaurant in Mexico City. It made $9 million in sales last year. In story 2, Sean Audet, a 30-year-old, spent $0 launching a food photography side hustle, and now he brings in $134,000 a year.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

I think it's more on that they are enjoying what they are doing that's why they become successful. And that's why they left their jobs in the first place, because not only that they are not happy with their jobs, but it simply put too much stressed on them everyday that they have to resign from it and then pursue what they wanted to do in life.

Perhaps there are others that is not willing to take the risk to go out and pursue what they want that's why they are stuck in a 9-5 job in their whole life. So it depends on each one of us to go reach for your dreams specially if you are still young.
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: $31450 proves too strong for Buyers, but Sellers may only dominate below $29400 on: July 16, 2023, 01:01:46 PM
31K is really proves too strong for resistance while 30K proves too strong too as a support. A very close price range like this usually ends up resistance being break since buyer will have more confidence to buy since support is near to their buy entry compared when the price is sideways on a huge price ramge with very high volatility.

Yes, this seems to be the case, I thought that when we reach $31k, I thought that we are going to maintain it. But I spoke too soon as we goes back to $30k, the support line and the resistance to $31k is to great for us.

It’s odd to have a resistance on 31K level while the price on 30K since the price rally from 25K that has a very high tradimg volume during those time.

And so not to complicated things, we can't do anything about it. Perhaps the selling point is really $31k for speculators and that's why it's obvious by now that it is the biggest barrier that we need to break for this year before we talk about how the price will be at the end of 2023.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 16, 2023, 12:48:37 PM
Recently research was held by Dr Reece Bush-Evans who told that online gambling could Hide the sexuality of the LGBTQ+ people and most of these people prefer online gambling as compared to physical gambling for obvious reasons.

The more important concern for the LGBTQ+ people is that they are being treated differently in a casino which may come under harassment. Also, the study says that people at the casino, the staff plus the public have shown discriminatory behavior towards these people.

New Research Explores Effect of Gambling on LGBTQ+ People

I disagree though, let me quote from the article,

Quote
According to Dr Bush-Evans, “life stressors” such as discrimination, social isolation and harassment can serve as triggers to push some LGBTQ+ individuals to gambling. The research is still ongoing. The results from the completed study are expected to be published later this year.

I doubt that what triggers LGBTQ to gambling has nothing to do with harassment, for me just like the rest of us. They want to enjoy and have fun and to some extend  win some money just like the rest of us.

Just last night I went to a traditional base gambling and saw some members of the LGBTGQ community and just simply playing, simply as that. I doubt that they are there because they feel isolated or something. In fact they are all laughing and I even saw them getting drunk and no one cares.

So far wala pa tayong naririnig kay Dame no? Si Herro ang inoffer ng Heat at mga future picks.
But so far wala pang linaw kung papatulan ng Portland o nanghihingi pa ng mas maraming player para sulit ang pagkaka trade kay Dame.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 16, 2023, 11:42:10 AM
To hype the fight more, here is ALL ACCESS: Spence vs. Crawford | Ep 1 | Full Episode | SHOWTIME PPV.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4JkMZtv8yA

You can hear both of them talking about the fight, there trainings and the attitude. I advise everyone to follow the All Access so that we can see a glimpse of this two boxers are they are going for a super fight.

I am really curious about the outcome of the numbers in this fight. I felt like there is not enough buzz. While Crawford made some trash-talking, he seems controlling it, probably trying not to get under Spence's skin or the Texan gets scared and withdraw? Cheesy Geez, Bud is turning 36.

So far no trash talking, I know, we missed those kind of smack talking, hehehe. But perhaps they know what they are doing here. Stop the trash talk and let them promote and go to the media showing respect and see how boxing fans are going to react with this fight. It could work for them in the end.

Anyways, with Jermell Charlo vacating all the belts at 154 for his fight with Canelo, Bud's dream of getting a shot at the undisputed belts at 154 is becoming nearly impossible. A trilogy with Spence is even possible if they can tie it at 1-1. Although I would love for any of these sanctioning bodies to offer a vacant belt at 154 for the rematch which would make Bud a legit 4-division world champion or Spence a 2-division world champion.

We wii wait to wait and see, how the first fight will go. It will really depends on how they are going to fare on the first fight. It could be a war and do hope that it will be the case so that the fans are going to look for the rematch or maybe the score will go 1-1 and it's going to be worth for this sanctioning body to allow this fight to proceed and let other fighters fight for the interim belt or whatever they are going to call it.

If this film mentioned Bitcoin then we could add them here: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear.

But regardless if it will break stigmas and negative perception about crypto, for me it doesn't matter. And FUD and negative things won't simply go away just because of some movies. It's better to accept that we will have critics and detractors in our market. And the sooner that we welcome that, the better for us. And for sure, majority of us are not affected by the dissenting opinions of others.

Meanwhile, Victor Wembanyama just made a remark saying the NBA is less physical than his games in Europe.
We can't blame him for that since he hasn't experienced the real one yet but I'm pretty sure some US players who read that are going to get a piece of him. He's in for a rude awakening hehe.

Exactly, I’m starting to doubt him due to his recent opinion since Spurs is currently at the bottom of the standings. I wonder if he can play even a full quarter on NBA regular season especially against hard core big man like Giaanis, Jokic and Embiid. I'm sure that his hamstring will gonna ache much once he receive consecutive blows on a real physical game.

He even struggling on summer league. I think his comment is just to boost his morale since people is expecting a lot on him while he can't display a very dominant performance to carry his teammates.

Victor's comment sounds a bit cocky, considering he only played 2 games in the summer league. As I see it, summer league games and regular season games are completely different things, and it makes no sense to compare them. As for whether Victor can play against other big guys, I think he will have a hard time in the paint because guys like Jokic and Embiid weigh a lot more than Victor, and they will probably dominate him.

Perhaps he doesn't meant that way though, he is still a kid so give him some slack. Of course the big test for him is against those big guys in the league right now, like the reigning MVP Joel Embiid and former MVP and NBA champion Jokic.

Let us give him some time to digest what NBA style of playing is. Even Luka says that it's easy to score in the NBA than in Europe and it's true to some sense as we have seen Luka giving us some numbers in the last couple of years.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding Bitcoin's Potential Realistically on: July 14, 2023, 02:55:19 AM
The reality is that Bitcoin isn't the only thing that counts. Even if Bitcoin becomes the only legal tender in every country in the whole world, I can say with 100% certainty that there will still be poverty and wars and all kinds of evil. Even if all fiat currencies are gone and Bitcoin becomes the global reserve currency and even the only currency the world knows, I'm 100% sure that inequality and discrimination and hatred and greed remain.

Some Bitcoin supporters speak of Bitcoin as if it's something that controls human conduct and character. Far from it. Bitcoin is simply a tool, a tool for everybody; pedophiles, environmentalists, restaurant owners, human rights advocates, artists, meth dealers, and so on.

True, I really don't understand why there are individuals that see Bitcoin as like a magic bean that will erase all humanity's problem, no it's not. It could help alleviate some of them but still there are a lot of problems that no one can solved.

Not even those who's the riches people alive, even if they used all their money, it won't put a dent on the world problem. So we are just lucky to have bitcoin to be here, so it's up to us how to take advantage of it. If we wanted financial freedom so be it.
