I pity all the fools who sold drk at .005 (or less). I bought some of my drk at .025 even and I still feel more than comfortable with my purchase .

well I certainly wasn't expecting this sort of price point with DRK...but I'm in for the long run, so i'll be damned if I'm gonna sell for 0.003.
god knows why anyone would be dumping coins at this point, might as well hold and wait for things to pick up again than lose most of your investment.

I'm a techie not an UIexpert/artist, but I think the simpler we can make the wallet for a start, the better. There should be an 'appliance' version that just has 3 rounds of DS+ hardcoded in with nothing a user can mess with, or something along those lines, as well as a more 'traditional' wallet.
They want buttonless gadgets? Give 'em buttonless gadgets... one screen (the existing wallet is a mess of redundant information and wasted space anyway) with a 'contacts' widget and a Send button. That's all most people need.
agreed, it's gotta be super super simple and easy and idiot proof if we want the average joe to start using this. |

well i just spent the last of my BTC on DRK. My crypto portfolio is now about this:
DRK - 80%
LTC - 10%
NXT - 5%
Random Shit Coins - 5%
The next time I sell any DRK will be at around 0.1!

As much as I wanted the previous Masternode fork to work perfectly, atleast it gives us the opportunity to purchase more DRK at a 0.016 sort of price!

Because on page 4 I read "Deflation is not much better than inflation. 'Real' coins should be created on top of Nxt, and be issued in quantities that keep their value constant." -Do you want to increase the amount of 1 billion Nxt? On page 4 it says "there is no limit for a specific type of monetary expansion". I really like Nxt, but these economics discourage my enthusiasm  i too am quite interested in NXT, i'd be interested for an answer to this too as coming from a tradtional mine and trade crypto background I dont quite get the payment system platforms like NXT and Ripple nxt to da moon  It appears you have your own set of problems which you should seek help for. For those that answered appropriately, thanks. I actually hold some NXT and think it is one of only a handful of alt currencies that will be around for a long time to come. Another question, so if the total amount of NXT is set, how does forging work then? My 0.057 has been refunded today so I am very happy with that. BTC-Arbs person is genuine, most people would have cut and run in a scenario like this rather than pay back their investors.

Noticed an incredibly positive trend in the Darkcoin Top 100 rich list. Over 64% of coins are being held by these addresses, that's over $36 million dollars in cash. But most importantly, all of these addresses keep adding more coins! That's the equivalent of Google's or Microsoft's top executives loading up on company stock on the NASDAQ instead of selling off their granted stock options on the open market to cash in. it changes everyday, just use a multipool if you dont want to keep track of which coin to mine on what day or use coinwarz.
i'm using Trade my bit or clevermining at the moment. I'm sure if i thoroughly read these forums and looked into all teh coins more deeply there is more money to be made but i dont have the time to follow it all that closely.

So my NXT wallet has been working well for a few weeks. Yesterday, I tried to open it up and now nothing happesn.
I have the latest version on Windows 7, I open it, enter my pass phrase and then nothing happens. The field to enter my password goes blank and it wont let me log in. It doesn't matter what I type in the passphrase section, it doesn't register as being incorrect or anything.
what's the deal?
