everyone will need to claim the dividends themselves from the smart contract
What will be the procedure for claiming the dividend?

Dear all! Where i can sell this coin to BTC at the monent! I seaching on internet, but no more info
Unfortunately, there is no active market for Qora now. You can try posting your offer here, someone may take it. How can there be an active market when the network is not stable? Anyway how you resolve problems in case you are trading directly with someone ? I mean one person could send qora to another person and they both could be on a fork or couldn't they?

I have read this but I must say that this 2 statement mentioned here are in opposition: - Anti Money Laundering (AML) Screening Users will undergo a verification process as per the AML criteria. Verified users will be able to transact amounts over USD 600.
- Completely Anonymous Interactions All interactions through Hawala.Today will be anonymous on the trusted Ethereum platform, ensuring security and privacy.
How can you be anonymous by disclosing your private data? Can you explain this and also what is the verification procedure ? Thanks.

Here's the best analysis of the p2p storage niche I've read so far... Analyzing Filecoin, Swarm, Storj, SAFE and Sia. They expect Filecoin to grab an 80% market share in 12-18 months... But feel there will lots of room for small players to thrive. Swarm will have the huge advantage of full Ethereum intgration... Storj has many user friendly features... Sia has many unique design features including PoW, but usability is an afterthought... SAFE is written off as "in perpetual R&D". https://multicoin.capital/2017/09/27/state-decentralized-storage/and now, eos.io And what about this one: https://oyster.ws/Another storage coin?!

Bitcoin can handle 6 transactions per second
Ethereum can handle 30 transactions per second
Skycoin can handle +300 transactions per second.
The bottleneck is the signature verification. We can only verify so many secp256k1 signatures per second on an ARM board, before the nodes cannot keep up with the network.
The problem with these DAG, Tangle and "hashchain" coins is that they have no way of capping their transaction rate. If the number of transactions on network, exceeds the rate the signatures can be verified, then it means the network nodes cannot keep up and the network is effectively non-functioning (DDoS attack).
So for Skycoin we capped the transaction rate, at the maximum rate that a single CPU can verify in real time.
We also are implementing off chain transactions, which can support up to 3000 transactions per second, per server.
No blockchain that exists can handle the transaction rates required for a distributed peer-to-peer utility company, so we had to move these off blockchain.
Hello. Are you referring to this also? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1598745.0http://www.swirlds.com/and http://hashgraph.com/faq/They claim more than 250000 tx/s without require POW and which can be only limited by network bandwidth.

In this case, the player can withdraw 1.250 ETH now and "After that, the player will be able to cash out up to 50% of the Jackpot value every period (approx. 1 month) until the withdrawal of the total value of the win." (Whitepaper). To be honest, I didn't understand how it works the other 50% withdraw later on. Will it be monthly payment? How long time?
So, the player wouldn't receive the money showed on "ESTIMATED WIN" (7.000.000 ETH), but 2.500 ETH only.
If this is correct, Smartbillions should show on "ESTIMATED WIN - HIT#6" the value according to the ACTUAL Jackpot.
the winner of 7.000.000 ETH can withdraw 50% of the current jackpot every month until the whole win is payed. other lotteries like powerball also do payouts on a monthly base. You made an example with one 7.000.000 winner what if in time there is another winner or 7.000.000 let say in time span of one year there would be 2 players requesting payout every month. What would the the calculation look like in this situation?! Would they share the 50% payout of the jackpot every month so each would receive 25% of total jackpot each month?

CPU activity goes on overdrive when opening the website. Happens every time. Is it just the silly animation in the background or is there something more sinister going on? Anyone else noticed that?
Using your CPU for mining not true. this is most likely caused by the animations. Then is better to have a static background! People on older computers could be using it too.

what is the minimum to run a node or wallet to support the network? Would a dedicated VPS be better or can it run on a Linux box with other processes?
qora wallet is written in java, i doubt it can run on linux vps without any windows manager. If I'm wrong, let someone fix me: P The old wallet GUI was build completely in Java by using java swing package therefore was able to run on any OS including Linux. Don't know if now is the case. Try to check. Also there was an option to launch the wallet without GUI so i think this could run on any VPS.

I just downloaded the android NEM wallet. It is so simple to use and nice UI. Although I am just exploring NEM blockchain tech. it looks exciting
I just downloaded the android NEM wallet, even if with some little crash but looks nice and easy to use.
Please make a backup of your private key before you fund your account(s). You never know what problem may occur like loosing or breaking your phone or the app could stop working due to phone system or firmware upgrade. Is better to stay safe.

Hi
Is it safe to say that if I see Dimcoin in my Nem nano wallet as mosaic then I got payments from Dimcoin? Or should I contact them for more payments?
"dim:coin" and "dim:token" are mosaics and if you see them in your address that means that you have recevied your payment. You can also check here by entering your NEM address http://explorer.ournem.com/I don't know if you should contact them for more payments it depends how much have you invested and how many times you have sent investment to their address. If you think that you have not received all your coins yet then you should contact them.

In simple words can you explain how it works? Example in airbnb let suppose that the price for a week is 70000 yen i have to pay this whole amount over paypal or credit/debit card throught airbnb. Right?! Then when I arrive at the accommodation the owner should give me 10% cashback in byteball in this example this would be 7000 yen in byteball? Can you confirm it works that way? Thanks.

Are tokens freely tradeable and transferable already?
Can't you read post above yours?

Byteball uses oracles to get anything more complicated into a contract. An oracle can be basically anything you can think of, as long as both parties trust the oracle.
How can be prevented that the oracle supplies false info to the DAG. If you have a "smart contract" that relies on oracle which supplies external info to the DAG and if that info is "not correct" don't you think it could cause a lot of damage. In my opinion this is a common problem to all technologies (DAGs or blockchains) that supposed to use oracles not only byteball.
