If someone wants to set one pool and is not impatient for payouts, what pool is honestly better?

ck.solo pool.

Good answer!

In theory you'll get 101% of expected earnings.  On paper... well... kano's pool has done better than 101% in reality.

Plus the fact that he actually pays his miners..... Wink Cheesy Cheesy

This thread is both embarrassing & funny - but the pool is an absolute joke of a different kind altogether.

Sad but true....

why, when the other block in this pool, mine bestshare were cleared? its ok?

I am wondering if it clears everyone but the finder as I have seen screenshots of the finding miners dashboard showing the share amount.

Arrrg,  my best share today with 1,5 th since the last block.

{"hashrate1m": "1.53T", "hashrate5m": "1.45T", "hashrate1hr": "1.42T", "hashrate1d": "1.3T", "hashrate7d": "1.27T", "lastupdate": 1429199305, "workers": 3, "bestshare": 45387446482.835815}

that was close to the diff  49,446,390,688.

 Shocked

Wow that was close! 😛

Wow... Where to even begin.

Pool operator was so sick that for 8 days he was completely incapacitated and the pool was unable to execute a payout.  Assuming you actually believe that nonsense you are accepting that payouts are a completely manual process dependent upon the health and well-being of the pool owner.

Payout delays of 5-7 days are the accepted standard operating procedure.

If you ask nicely in IRC you might be lucky enough to receive a payout.

You simply can not find a pool that pays more 100% of the time.

The hell I can't... Pretty much every other pool qualifies.

jonnybravo.....I had to come up for air after reading what no141 wrote.... unbelievable is a understatement... Roll Eyes
409  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: April 16, 2015, 12:13:31 AM
I'm all caught up now! s0br was sick for 8 days, and that added the extra time over the normal 5-7 days between payments. s0br is very trustworthy and you will get paid eventually. When you are desperate for a payment head to the IRC channel and politely ask. He was even willing to give the value of the btc owed via paypal to someone earlier today.

You simply can not find a pool that pays more 100% of the time.

Our combined outstanding balance in queue to be paid is 158.10759456 Bitcoin.

not everyone got paid, including me.. plus i have other things to do then sit in chat and beg for my coins.

No Shit I could not agree with you more....

I can not register writes When open registration

Registration is closed. Consider yourself lucky that it is. And that is not the only non truth on the first page. To many good pools to mess with this one even if you could register.

We've paid out 75.76732193 Bitcoin to our miners in the past 24 hours.

Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 176.35968324 Bitcoin.

413  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 34 blocks solved! on: April 14, 2015, 10:28:48 AM

this is ok ?

{"hashrate1m": "1.01T", "hashrate5m": "968G", "hashrate1hr": "886G", "hashrate1d": "784G", "hashrate7d": "270G", "lastupdate": 1429005256, "workers": 4, "bestshare": 29188251.692913987}

Best share is nothing more than how close you came to getting a block which will take 49,446,390,688 or higher. Your best share so far is 29,188,251 so you can see to hit a block is indeed a large number to hit but it can be done. I hit a block on BAN last month with one of my S3 miners and now I have those miners pointed here.

Edit: I am 100% here now
414  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Newest Diff thread April 5 to April 18th on: April 12, 2015, 01:36:26 PM
I have all my miners pointed back at Westhash... this is to good to pass up. Sometimes my S3's dont failover so only had the S5 renting hash in the past, but just changed the 3's over. The weird part is I have a batch 2 S3 that was a dog from the get go....Had two bad chips that use to show a x on one and a - on the other...but switching it over to Westhash about 4 hours ago the darn thing shows all "o" now on all chips and it has not done that in months of restarts?

Congratulations to 15X8ziBTCLEQCU2eUwWoQCYqJV7CoJSFoC with the 33rd block solved!

I'm pretty sure he's the smallest miner to date to find a block on solo.ckpool.

Congrats to the #33 block miner!

Wow somebody is renting hash for .0212?? mistake, nuts or another shit coin rush?? Tongue
417  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: April 12, 2015, 09:47:39 AM
Our combined outstanding balance in queue to be paid is 203.35684919 Bitcoin.

that's almost 50,000$

Yes but a lot of that is due to the pool's miners as I am sure the pools is most the hash right now.

The most disturbing thing I see right now is the pool has found a block a day the last 3 days. It only shows @12 BTC paid out over the last 3 days and no payouts in the last 24 hours. Also there no blocks to be confirmed not even the one that was found yesterday? So now where are the blocks going?
418  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [PPS 2% fee] NiceHash.com pool - higher profits than direct mining BTC! on: April 11, 2015, 10:59:41 PM
Somebody is renting 1PH and the price is high. I had my password set wrong...missed a zero had .115 just fixed it to .0115 and now its rented out on Westhash.
419  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: April 11, 2015, 01:29:16 PM
i think a lot of rig rentals gets pointed there, as the pool hash rate varies wildly from 2 - nearly 6 ph, combined with people piling on hashing power when the pool's on top of itself, and then moving it when the payments aren't going out on time, only to move it back then when it gets cleared.

I'm waiting to get paid too, but still waiting and seeing what happens. I've been mining on the pool through good and bad since October, and my review was updated a while ago to change the regularity of earnings from 5 to 1, and a note mentioning the issues. but right now its down under 1.4phs with less than 1000 workers. So two effects there, less hashes to go towards finding blocks, but also will slow down the liability growing as fast as it has been.

this is the downside of a PPS pool.. specially one with NO FEE..

if someone puts in a ton of hash for a short time, but no blocks are found during that time, the pool loses funds that it can never recover..

it did say in the faq tho (not sure if its still there) that if someone put hash from rentals in the pool their account will be closed and the funds forfeited.. but i guess they arent doing that.

if someone puts in a ton of hash for a short time, but no blocks are found during that time, the pool loses funds that it can never recover..

This does not make sense to me.... as even with a large amount of hash as you state for a "short time"  the pool will not be on the hook for a lot of coin and if the pool gets a lucky streak the pool could recover. What makes it hard to recover is the hacks of the pools wallet, the paying of the 10% bonus(now 1%), charging no fee and a prolong bad luck streak. Now I can understand the OP using the pool as a loss leader for another business purpose and this is what was always said what the purpose of the pool was, but no other business has come along, so as stand alone pool can not profitable and the late/missing payments show it.

As far as the rentals I think is the past rentals were finding a way to take advantage of the pool and they were stopped, but I believe they were allowed again later once something was changed.

EDIT: Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 191.80840895 Bitcoin.  Shocked

also  the pool is paying for a lot of servers...

Use one of the following servers if the geo server doesn't work for you or as a backup.

Huge power like that sure, but I run 15TH/sec and have since January and my boxes have all ROI'd at this point.

Granted, I have access to ridiculously inexpensive power($0.023/kwh), so that helps. :p
Wow where is that at?
