401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: what is medium priority ? please help on: June 18, 2016, 07:26:38 PM
Am afraid that my friend who is newbie sent the uncomfirmed amount i've sent to him in the 1st place -_-

Please Sir check this out :
https://blockchain.info/tx/4cc981fdbf5c879aadbd63835e15cdf48391288ea7cf61179313a27531abc7a2

Sorry if I annoyed u .. am just feeling so bad about it.. i didnt know about this before; I can pay any fees they want .. all I want is my money back or this shit come comfirmed

When an unconfirmed transaction gets dropped from the mempool, all transactions that used the unconfirmed transaction as input will be removed also. This means your friend's transaction (and any transactions that used it as input) will be dropped along with your transaction

If you would prefer the transaction to be confirmed instead no matter how long it will take, you can push the transaction back to the mempool every time it gets dropped. To push a transaction, simply go to the sites listed here and enter your raw transaction. You can get the raw transaction from bc.i by adding "?format=hex" at the end of the transaction link like this. Make sure you save it (and your friend's raw tx) because it won't be available once bc.i drops the tx
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: what is medium priority ? please help on: June 18, 2016, 06:21:27 PM
It might take days instead of hours. No one can guarantee how long a transaction will take to get a confirmation but your transaction fee of approximately 1.8 satoshi per byte is very, very, low compared to the recommended fee of 40-60 satoshi per byte. I've seen transactions with double your fee not getting confirmed at all

That's very scary .. u scared the shit out of me .. u mean, it will just remain uncomfirmed ?

Sorry. I mean that it will might stay unconfirmed for days and gets dropped from the mempool. The bitcoins will be returned to the sender's wallet and they can send another transaction with higher fee
The time it takes for most nodes to drop your transaction is 48-72 hours provided that no one rebroadcasts the transaction every now and then

Edit: Corrections.

Thank you. It seems to me that http://coinig.com has a problem validating vanity addresses or something  Huh

No. It just can't verify signed messages with line break. But a lot of people love to use them for whatever reason
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reaching 1500$ after the halving , Possible ? on: June 18, 2016, 03:08:12 PM
Yes it is. But it probably won't happen right after the halving. I think it will take time for the market to adjust with the current price and feel the effects of the halving. Right now there's a lot of happy people who are more than willing to lock their profit once the price reach $1000

406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex got hacked, most of their ETH cold storage are MOVING on the Blockchain on: June 17, 2016, 07:18:53 PM
Can you give us an address? Just read the ETH/DAO and poloniex news so I'm kinda blind on this
407  Economy / Lending / Re: Urgent loan for my family on: June 16, 2016, 01:49:25 PM
@Xinzark
What makes you sure that OP didn't create this thread just to frame traderbit? Anyone can do that
408  Economy / Lending / Re: Urgent loan for my family on: June 15, 2016, 07:53:22 PM
One more Brand new with a sob story and big No collateral loan
Giving negative trust to such people is also a waste of time

you stuppid friggot  you dont know mwhat my family has been thru

you JUDGE and you are WRONGER

I'm sure you have some relatives/friends/acquaintance and/or some other way to get loan like medical loan from your bank. Instead of asking some random strangers that most likely won't give you a cent, ask them instead
409  Economy / Lending / Re: I am Student from belgium want mine bitcoin on: June 15, 2016, 07:42:33 PM
Yes i now
But there's no website where i can borrow btc .
Because i'm a student
I was hoping somebody was believing in me Sad
I will give all information that you want
Pleas trust me .
And if you not trust me , i will first try with 1 bitcoin are so.
Thank you gor answering

Look around this section. No one would even give 0.001 to a newbie with 2 posts. You'll need collateral. Personal information means nothing unless the lender lives near you and is willing to risk not getting repaid on-time
410  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-15] HD wallet support is finally coming to Bitcoin Core on: June 15, 2016, 02:59:38 PM
Am I the only one who believe that HD wallet is not all that good for privacy? Someone get your master public key and they'll be able to see all your transaction. Or did I misunderstood that?
411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Query about 2FA on: June 12, 2016, 05:57:40 PM
I personally use authy it works amazing and didn't face any problems so far. This is wat they said when you possible lost your phone or whatever could be the reason you can't access is anymore.

I LOST MY PHONE WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Go to: https://www.authy.com/phones/reset. After you buy a new phone simply re-install the App and all accounts will be synchronized back.

Are they talking about google Authenticator? [Sorry if thats silly xD because i have no idea]

For google authenticator. it's here => https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185834?hl=en#phone

413  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info wallet dont work. Their support didnot reply. I cannot use money on: June 12, 2016, 02:31:44 PM
I've said this a lot of times: stop using blockchain.info. There have been at least 2 cases of this that I know of. I'm not 100% sure what caused it but people lost money and blockchain.info can't seem to do anything to fix it.

Here's the previous cases I mentioned:

415  Economy / Lending / Re: long shot on: June 12, 2016, 01:07:52 PM
Ok, not sure I want to trade on here then to be fair, not if neg rep gets thrown around like that.

Escrowed trades are very much different from no collateral loans.
416  Economy / Lending / Re: long shot on: June 12, 2016, 12:59:17 PM
You should know that you might get a negative feedback by asking for a loan without providing any valid collateral while you're still newbie. No one here trusts this kind of loan
417  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many cats are on this bed? (count carefully) on: June 11, 2016, 11:30:43 PM
Please just give us the answer and the explanation why as to probably everyones answer is incorrect.

The suspense is killing me. Do you think we all have nine lives here   Cheesy

There are only five cats. Those who see more or less than five are now included on some special list maintained by some special agency.

If I'm gone in the near future, that's on you, Gleb

Guys I just found Satoshi!

show us
tell us

That's satoshi's pic. A completely different person. Why'd you think this is in off-topic?  Grin
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: is anyone going real long with bitcoin on: June 11, 2016, 06:36:22 PM
ie continually buying bitcoin a little each week no matter what the price is at

Yes. I have a separate cold storage just for hodling which I plan not to touch for a long time. At the very least not before the 4th halving
All other crypto are just for quick profit (mainly because there's nothing better at the moment)
420  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you see what others see in this image? on: June 11, 2016, 05:45:54 PM
A vagina where the tree splits?  A banana?

I'm quoting this for prosperity.  Tongue
