Dragon Knights of Valeria now has a GP rainbot added to the chat. Every 10 minutes the system will randomly select one player who has made a chat post and award them GP. Players are also able to donate directly into the rainbot's balance using their in-game GP. Players are also able to donate GP directly to 3 random players who have made a post within the last 50 chat messages. Thanks for adding that in Anarchist. Looks great. |

I'm getting a warning that my "Checkpoint is too old"... think it's because the Desktop wallet has failed to launch properly a couple of times, leading to me having to stop the process in Task Manager. Do I need to do anything or will it correct itself over time?
Please update your wallet to the latest version, this will remove that message. Will do, thanks. Your wallet will still run fine with that message, but the latest wallet version removes the faulty error message as well as some other updates. |

Yeah, I was going to say, it doesn't list the 54.148.124.35 one, since that is a list of the nodes that one node sees. There should be 12 in all (because the list has 11) listed in the conf file. Thanks MMH. Yes this is true everyone please add the 54 server to your conf as well. A number of people have contacted me expressing interest in running more GP games. Haven't heard from the GPRPG.com dev for a while, but it will be happening one way or another! Will have more news and updates soon. If anyone reading this wants to run an online RPG or a multiplayer steam game server that integrates GP please contact me to discuss bounties and your ideas. I want to support as many awesome GP games as possible and any ideas are welcome! |

Since it will be asked over and over again, what Ignatius said in PM: !stream can be used by everyone, but the stream is down. HVAC issues, it should return any day now.
In other words it's not the command important but that there are issues having to be fixed first. Thanks for keeping us updated John. Ignatius generously has a dedicated server running the twitch stream, it is very high bandwidth use and it is awesome that we have the stream! Please let us know here when it is fixed. |

Updated the OP with some more information about why I am working on GP as well as HYPER, as I think there has been some confusion: HYPERfuture (me) was asked to rescue GP as the original dev had abandoned it, and as most of you know I am extremely passionate about both cryptocurrency and gaming. I also hate to see people invest their time and money into a cryptocurrency which the head developer then abandons. GP has been used in RPGs since the pen and paper DnD days as the in-game currency, and when the GP community asked me to rescue this coin I immediately saw the potential and agreed. Since then I have already organized a handful of GP games with a lot more happening behind the scenes, particularly in terms of online RPG's that will support full GP integration, including Dragon Knights of Valeria that already offers full GP integration: http://dknight.ml |

http://hyperzanda.com will be down for some time and most likely all current player accounts will be wiped. There is some serious dev work happening on Hyperzanda, and there will be some more big announcements soon  Sorry all for the inconvenience but we can't make the game as awesome as we need it to be and preserve the player accounts. When it comes back, can you drop or extend the account deletion time please? 2 weeks was just short enough for my account to get deleted before i even tried out the game (not even past tutorial xD), due to having a sudden vacation of little over a week and not getting back into my daily routine quickly enough. On another note: Can we have CS:GO stream back online? previously made 1 HYPER in an hour, now it takes a whole day to make that amount with stream offline all day (past days at least). There won't be any deletion of accounts again. We have some PHP developers working on the HYPER integration and then Hyperzanda will run with HYPER integration when it launches again So, basically the new game will be a lot better and unfortunately the result of this is that the game will be down for a while and will be completely reset when we launch it again. We know the game very well now, and will be customizing it specifically for HYPER. I think there is a command in the HYPER twitch stream !stream which resets the stream. Please PM Ignatius here, and let him know your username on twitch and he can give you rights to reset the stream whenever you are logged in so you can make it stream whenever you would like |

Guys we now have 8 GP nodes! Enjoy. I will post the IPs ASAP.I would think if there was a game like those, once you got to certain "chapters" maybe you could earn GoldPieces. In a way similar to a faucet, you put your address in, play the game, and get payouts after you hit certain "goalposts" or "levels" throughout the game. But obviously you could only do it once or you'd know how to do it everytime. But if something like that could be done, maybe it could be like King's Quest (which had 8 games in the series), and just continue on with new games after you beat each one.
That's an interesting idea... I'll have to chat to my programmer to see if AGS would be capable of something like that. I'd certainly like to make it possible to at least buy the games using GP / HYPER, which should certainly be possible (well definitely I know the HYPER store is fully operational - sorry I don't know much about GP just yet!) That would be really cool. Thanks for writing the articles on your blog Team Disaster I am adding Captain Disaster to the OP now. Is there a mac wallet for GP?
Unfortunately not. The HYPER Mac wallet turned out to be quite buggy and I don't have the funds to pay a full-time Mac developer for HYPER or GP. If you know a Mac dev that would like to volunteer to build a Mac GP wallet (and perhaps even help update the HYPER Mac wallet) please let me know.

The plot revolves around a package delivery by the hapless captain turning out to be something that will put the entire galaxy in question. Though it's rather old and not entirely representative of the quality of the final game, you may enjoy the Playable Demo. We are deploying 4 more superseed nodes right now, and using Bittrex's node would be a great help. The original dev that abandoned GP seems to have let all his nodes die and we weren't aware that there weren't any other GP nodes except Bittrex.
