The new HYPER Mac wallet is out!

Instructions for existing users to upgrade to the new HYPER Mac wallet from the old HYPER Mac wallet:

The new HYPER Mac wallet uses a new version of the HYPER blockchain for faster syncing. So you will need to download the blockchain again. This only takes 4-6 hours with the new wallet and blockchain. We are working on a bootstrap for the new Mac client ASAP.

1.) Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Hyper on your Mac. COPY YOUR WALLET.DAT AND MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR WALLET.DAT IN A SECURE LOCATION BEFORE PROCEEDING SUCH AS ON AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE OR IN A FOLDER ON YOUR DESKTOP

2.) DELETE EVERYTHING EXCEPT YOUR WALLET.DAT (DO NOT DELETE YOUR WALLET.DAT!) IN ~/Library/Application Support/Hyper on your Mac

3.) Download the new HYPER Mac client at: https://mega.co.nz/#!aNFAwJhT!6Oz7yeidRZ4U5MGXlb9lJBumxRZA22B7ZyjzVnfX5Rg

4.) Unpack the New HYPER Mac client to your desktop

5.) Open the new HYPER Mac client. It may take 4-6 hours to download the new blockchain. Your correct HYPER balance will display once the blockchain has fully downloaded. Please be patient.

6.) That's it you are now running the new HYPER Mac wallet client. Has been thoroughly tested but please report any bugs here or on twitter.

Instructions for NEW users of the HYPER Mac wallet (if you already have the old HYPER Mac wallet please follow the ABOVE instructions to make sure you keep your HYPER!):

1.) Download the new HYPER Mac client at: https://mega.co.nz/#!aNFAwJhT!6Oz7yeidRZ4U5MGXlb9lJBumxRZA22B7ZyjzVnfX5Rg

2.) Open the new HYPER Mac client and keep it running. It will take 4-6 hours to download the blockchain. Please be patient.

- Complete UI overhaul
- New blockchain format for much faster syncing
- New staking graph in the mac wallet
- Many commits for general security and updating of the wallet
- Add coin staking graph to the wallet
- Add QRCode support
- Wallet now available in over 60 languages
- Fixed numerous urgent security issues
- Added links to #hypercrypto irc, wiki, bitcointalk etc in the About page and in icons in the wallet
- New supernode for very fast syncing speeds

Hmm actually for the main MMO there is no set launch date yet.. so it would be best to say "in the future", but you could mention Hyperzanda.com as that is a space strategy MMO we are already running that will soon have HYPER trading for in-game resources players earn by managing their galactic empire.

Maybe also mention that the ultimate goal is to have hundreds of online games, game servers, and virtual worlds that utilize HYPER as the in-game currency?

It looks like less than 3% of total supply on Bittrex right now. How did you get to 25% from ~ 113K for sale on Bittrex with total supply of 3 700 000 coins?

If some people want to leave their HYPER on Bittrex instead of staking it for 5% monthly interest in their wallet, it means it is easier for others who want more HYPER to stake it daily at 5% per month interest. I should have more updates soon everyone

I have an iOS / Android developer on standby to make the first HYPER gaming app.

What kind of game do you guys want to see? Someone on twitter suggested an AoE (Age of Empires) style strategy game with a monthly leader board with the top scoring players each month winning some HYPER. What do you all think of this idea?

I want to the community to decide what kind of iOS / Android game we should make for the first HYPER gaming app. More fun that way
