401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: November 03, 2019, 07:58:03 AM
I've seen quite a few threads asking people's thoughts on the best cryptocurrency exchange. These days there's a lot out there so I thought I'd share my list of the best cryptocurrency exchanges with everyone. Some are better for different needs (ie: trading with particular fiat currencies) but here's my list of which are, in my opinion, the best and I have thoroughly tested.

https://www.cryptoadvocate.net/post/best-cryptocurrency-exchange
I think the list is good, but not complete. For example, Binance may be the best, but that does not mean that the others are useless. Obviously, you can not know the best of everything, because what is best for you may be a worse exchange for someone else or it can be restricted in his country. So you should write about at least the top 5, not single exchanges.
Or you could add additional DEXs. DEXs have also started to increase recently, this indicating that demand has been increasing.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currency value and Economy debt on: November 03, 2019, 07:14:38 AM
I think after economy  boom and the end of huge debt wich will be never repayed there will be Economy slow down and fiat currency Will have huge value!!
During the boom assets Prices going up... So More money Will Go the asset owners Once boom is over the most of the money Will be hands of the rich... Everybody Will be debted... Simply everybody is looking for money but simply there Will be significant smaller ammount of the money.

So in my opinion Bitcoin Can Go up like 100k to 500k.  Even 1 milj.... But at the end it will crash.
And after crash the fiat currency Will have biggest purache power.  Crypto Will be zero.

The point is that  debt and quantive easing will Give at the End More value to fiat currency!

So those who talking about fiat currency devaluatiion or so You are all wrong.
What if the BTC itself will be used as payment until that time? Now replace the fiat money with BTC and consider the new scenario.

Also, when the BTC reaches 500k, it will reach 9,000,000,000,000 USD, which is a huge number. The following numbers are the amount of physical money available in the world, now calculate yourself.
Quote
There is approximately $36.8 trillion worth of physical money around the world.

403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price would touch $16K soon- By Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao on: November 03, 2019, 06:46:28 AM
Price predictions from Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, he think it's very easy to predict about bitcoin price but just matter of time. According to him Bitcoin will touch $16K soon. And I believe prediction of "Changpeng Zhao" is more potential from some other.

I am bit confused about second part of Twitte regarding 1.4 billion people.  Does he mention about DCEP coin ? Which is going to launch by Chinese Central Bank ?
This prediction of Zhao is close to reality due to the oncoming halving. Actually, not only Zhao, but most of the community is in that thought, and in 2020 we think we will see a good price. I think so too, it is best to follow his estimation.

Most likely, the second part is about China so, it has no other purpose in emphasizing 1.4 billion people.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swirge.com - The best alternative to Steemit? on: November 03, 2019, 06:17:48 AM
I was just going through the ANN Threads and found this ANN on Swirge Project:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5187495.0
Haven't done much research on it. But it looks like the team are adopting the same format as Steemit.com. And the rewards in posting on steemit right now is very down as steem price is down too. So is Swirge.com a new upcoming better alternative? Or just another crappy project  Cheesy
The new crypto Facebook?
Among such projects like this I recently encountered publish0x. As far as I remember, it is possible to send a tip to the authors too. This project is newer and I do not know how successful it will be. Because there are lots of projects like this, and they can not all be in the top. Besides, I did not investigate the project, but if it were comparable to Facebook, I would have heard of it.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is running DASH masternode more profitable than HODLING bitcoin? on: November 03, 2019, 05:46:02 AM
A simple question, If i buy 1000 DASH with Bitcoin and and run a masternode, i will generate passive income. My question is will the end result after 1 year (initial deposit + income) will be greater than if i decide to HODL bitcoin and don't run a masternode ?
I want to earn passive income but it has a risk right? What if DASH price falls after one year and bitcoin price keeps increasing, that can happen? or Bitcoin and DASH price directly proportional in long term?
It depends more on the situation of the market. By the end of the year, I do not know which one will provide the better, but BTC's performance since the beginning of the year is very good, and we see that this increase has a little impact on altcoins. Therefore, instead of selling the BTC immediately, it is useful to look at the issue from a wide angle.
406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT DOES A TRADER NEED? on: November 03, 2019, 05:14:35 AM
Reading news constantly and being on track?
Using platforms/tools?
Is trading view enough?
Thank you for helping in this matter!
If you add "manage your feelings" to your list and stay on track, you can succeed. You should set certain rules and these rules should be at your side in every trade. Then, you should learn about how to make money in trade. Also never expect big profit. Always calculate your earnings in accordance with the interest on the money in your balance. The possiblity of 10% is the same, it does not matter you invest 100 or 100k.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: November 02, 2019, 10:41:43 PM
https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/10/30/bitcoin-trades-at-large-premium-in-argentina-as-dollar-purchase-restrictions-set-in/

Quote
Bitcoin is trading at a large premium on cryptocurrency exchanges in Argentina. Demand remains high after the nation’s central bank announced a further tightening of a limit on the number of dollars an individual can purchase from it each month.

The policy essentially forces the people of Argentina to either sink of swim in an economy with a less than perfect track record. Well, it would, were it not for Bitcoin.

According to data taken from local cryptocurrency exchange Ripio, Bitcoin is trading at a large premium in Argentina. Whereas Coinmarketcap has the price of the leading digital asset at around $9,150 at the time of writing, Bitcoin is currently selling at the South American trading venue for ARS$633,862 ($10,578).

The nation has been in the grips of successive economic crises which have seen the value of the peso plummet. In an attempt to stabilise the currency, the central bank first limited the amount of dollars an individual could purchase each month to $10,000 in September. Just days ago, it drastically increased this restriction to just $100 in physical bank notes per month.

I guess the workaround is buying bitcoin and then taking a trip to another country where you can cash out in dollars using local bitcoins.

I think you missed the main detail: they can only use this restriction with banks. They can not use these restrictions on the BTC and this proves to us again how valuable it is.

To get it, the locals can deal with each other or someone from another country. IMO apart from the weaknesses of the governments, there is no major problem.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big money moving in next year, means greater demand for DEX projects? on: November 02, 2019, 10:17:52 PM
So I'm pretty convinced that we'll see a mega bull run next year due to the BTC halving. There's probably a LOT of wealthy people looking to invest, if the price starts to skyrocket again, but as we've seen in the past, these people are all about privacy.
Remember the Panama leakage a few years back? https://www.bbc.com/news/live/business-35944255/page/2

Wealthy people is likely to hide a ton of money in crypto, and while you could argue that most of them would hold privacy coins like XMR, there's also a fear that these will be illegal, and delisted/removed from centralized exchanges eventually.

This got me thinking, that perhaps decentralized exchanges where nobody can follow your trading history will get HUGE demand.
So perhaps it's not a bad idea to look into projects like Blocknet for the next bull run? If these DEX's takes off, the coin itself will be highly sought after.

Thoughts?
I can not argue that you are right or wrong about this. But, I think it is a little exaggerated. Investors do not need to act suddenly to make this investment. They can also make this investment until the halving. Even, if they think it will increase in the future, it would be more appropriate for them to collect from the cheap price without wasting time.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: November 02, 2019, 09:52:30 PM
I got scammed by this project called temtum. Signed up for their bounty months ago, posting for their campaign, filling up 2 kyc forms and pushing for its deadline, and now they are telling me i didnt pass it. It is not only me who encountered this. Hello Richard Dennis.
As far as I know, this bounty's manager should be Hampuz. He is one of the most respectable BMs in this forum, and I do not think he may cheat anyone. It is more accurate to contact him.

I also looked at the bounty group of Temtum and found this in the pinned message:

Quote
Bounty distrubtion has now completed

Anyone who didn’t recieve the bounty did not successfully complete KYC or the fill out correctly the form

Any issues please PM @TemTeam not me

I think if you share with us exactly what your problem is, maybe we can help. Otherwise, I saw a lot of people in the group who received their reward.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an expert tell me how to identify a shitcoin (example: Insight Chain) on: November 02, 2019, 09:28:13 PM

Hi there,

rather new to crypto. Currently looking at Insight Chain (http://www.insightchain.io/ & https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/insight-chain/).

Now this smells like a shitcoin (pump and dump), but (as a noob) I can't really put my finger on why this is the case. There's a website, whitepaper, twitter account, etc. But all what they are saying doesn't make much sense, though not being a blockchain expert, I might simply not understand what they are saying.

To some more experienced cryptofans out there: How would you go about deciding whether an altcoin is a shitcoin (ideally using the example of Insight Chain)?

Thanks!
I had heard about INB last year, but I have not heard anything about having shitcoin so far. I even looked at the exchange where it was listed to investigate its volume, and I found nothing negative. The calculated volume on the CMC is also correct. The only thing I do not understand is that according to CMC the volume has not been less than $ 1 million since it was created, but it was $223 on June 18, and that volume continued until June 28. And in this time period, the price rose to $2.40 with $19k volume. Has something like this really happened, or is it just the CMC's mistake?
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BAT the DOGE killer? on: November 02, 2019, 09:04:54 PM

Basic attention token also allows to tip content creators. But it offers much more than Dogecoin (e.g. a new advertising system).

What do you guys think? Can DOGE and BAT coexist (e.g. due to different user groups) or will BAT make DOGE obsolete?

BAT is a decentralized coin for digital advertising and can only be used to tip someone at Brave. But, DOGE was created as a joke coin, afterwards taken seriously and its creation has nothing to do with the tip. So, they are not coins (BAT is token) that are relevant enough to be compared with each other. Therefore, both may coexist.
412  Other / Off-topic / Re: Daily lifestyle in bitcoin. on: November 02, 2019, 08:39:37 PM
I want to share this read until end, my daily lifestyle in bitcoin is in first time it was so bored, i dont know if earnings of money is true but lately i've earn money here in bitcoin then i was fully focus here in bitcoin to get more earnings and i want to make my dream come true by the powered of bitcoin.
Why would it be bad to make money with Bitcoin? We even trade the money we use in our daily lives to earn the same money. When the BTC replaces paper money, we will use it to get something and and it can be considered the same as the trade.

I hope you can reach the point you want. But remember this goal and always try your best to achieve it.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gram Tokens could be the next big thing on: November 02, 2019, 12:34:39 PM
After raising a whooping amount of $1.7 billion the launch of GRAM Tokens have been postponed by the team due to a law suit from the US SEC. Interestingly, private investors have actually agreed to postpone the launch of this project pending the clearance from US SEC. The sales of GRAM Token occured in a flash and increased over 100% per the last bidding in March 2018. Though i don't have much information about the GRAM Token Economics yet i think this token would be one of the altcoins which would be worth investing into looking at the huge and ever increasing user base of the Telegram application.
You all can share with us what other important information that you know about this project so that we don't miss the early bird when it finally hits on exchange.

For those who see a great potential in this project like i do, it's scheduled to be launched on April 31, 2020
We all know how many users of Telegram have or their usefulness, but who cares, if there is good profit? lol For the majority, instant gain is an important factor in such projects, so hyip. There are already exchanges that sell GRAM for 30-40 cents. It will be great to enter the market, but after everyone will make good profit, the rest will be the cry of the last owners (mostly newbies).
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with ETHEREUM Now? on: November 02, 2019, 11:46:43 AM
I want to know the opinion of all crypto friends in this forum about Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum is currently unable to rise beyond the $ 300 figure. ethereum prices are only between $ 150 - $ 250. and this incident makes me wonder, why did this happen to Ethereum ??
Lately, the power of the BTC is enough for itself so, the remaining altcoins are drowning in blood. While they should be affected by the increase in Bitcoin, nothing happens. And as this continues, there is a decrease instead of an increase. Our only way out is to wait. I can not tell you how long and what to expect, but I know it will not last that long.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS would you bu if crypto boom started yesterday? on: November 02, 2019, 11:19:32 AM
And why?
If the crypto boom is started and is continuous, I try to choose the reliable ones. Because, the rise of the market will affect every coin, and I do not want to ruin everything because of greed. For example, ETH is much lower than it should be, while ETH was $1.5k at the time the BTC is $20k, it is not at appropriate for the current BTC price, and IMO it will recover in the future increase.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TOP25/50 COINS on: November 02, 2019, 10:47:33 AM
Is it only safe to play with top50 coins?
Yes, trying some coins from the top 50 is safer. There is the possibility of adverse case, but if these coins are ranked in accordance with our assessment, we can essentially trust them.

Are you also looking at coins which are not listed on CMc?
CMC requires a certain volume to be listed. If the coin/token does not reach this volume and does not promise something in the future, I will not. Indeed, if project has the choice to be listed and it does not value it,  I prefer it.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stellar (XLM) do it again ? on: November 02, 2019, 08:21:56 AM
We have forgotten one of the preferred altcoin which is similar to Ripple otr know as decentralized version of Ripple. Stellar almost touch $1 during it's peak and again it was under $0.1 for most of the year due to bearish market and I have a strong feeling that it will again make upto $1 if things go well and looking at last three days statistic it has already showing signs of growth and back to 10th rank replacing TRON.

This may be way too early to predict but this is not a prediction it's just my thoughts.
Indeed, it is very difficult to answer this question. Because coins like XLM are not the kind of coins that can gain value from being listed in Binance, but they are influenced by much bigger news. Therefore, if this news comes in the future, it will move upward without depending on others. Otherwise, you should wait for the altcoin season to begin.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DEX's ever get the liquidity and volume of Centralized Exchanges today? on: November 01, 2019, 08:09:14 AM
Yeah, that's a question I keep asking myself these days. There's so many DEX projects, some of them not even being "Real DEX's" like the Binance "DEX". I've been wondering if another bull run could trigger a huge influx of new users towards these projects, since you don't need to own an account to use them.

Remember Q4 of 2017, when you couldn't even open a Binance account since they got too many registrations at once? With the recent influx of new trading options, some of the volume could be moved towards decentralized solutions such as Blocknet, just to name a project.

Another thing worth speculating on, is people seem to HATE KYC like the plague. Imagine all the rich and wealthy people, like celebs, and people with big time careers, they might not even want to risk disclosing what they hold should a centralized exchange be compromised, which makes DEX's the best solution.

Could 2020 be the year of DEX's? Just a thought... Grin
If there is nothing special about DEX next year, I do not think so. The latest status of DEX is very good, the useful ones are not as few as before. But there is still no interest. I think the lack of trust prevents them, and it is strange that anyone is looking for things centralized in the decentralized system. You can at least try it out with a small amount. The most strange is that money is more valuable than identity.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on XRP for long term investment (BEGINNER) on: October 31, 2019, 12:17:32 PM
I am going to invest $150 (Canadian) into some coins. My first post mentioned DigiByte, but now I'm curious about XRP upon research and considering that it's within the top 10 coins I think makes it safe. Considering that I'm a COMPLETE noob and venturing this at 18, I started with $100 but felt an extra $50 would not hurt but that's the max I'm going. I'm very well aware of the risks and know I could lose my money which is why $150 is my max because losing won't hurt me. I'm not investing to make a quick buck, I'm just extremely curious in this market.

I've been following XRP for the last week and the price value has gone up by 3.05%, I'm curious whether people wait or buy straight away while the price has gone up (considering its the 3rd ranked coin). Also wondering if this is a coin for long term investment. I still have a lot to learn before considering investment, but I do not want to wait too long in case the value goes up. I don't even know how to buy a coin... apart from that, I'm curious if anybody has more information that will be useful for my final decisions.
What I want to know is why you want to invest in XRP and not BTC? What makes you love XRP? If the increase, the BTC increased more than most other altcoins in the last increase.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So many altcoins on: October 31, 2019, 11:49:07 AM
I risk creating a duplicate question. But I'll try.

A huge number of crypto assets are discussed here. In the neighboring sections, new projects appear every day. But these are all false, far-fetched and almost always unsuccessful undertakings. New “projects” absorb the incoming money flow, which does not benefit the industry, but enriches individuals.
All this created for some cunning rogue?

Yes, some projects look interesting and potentially. I like the idea of global currencies for various use and applications. W/o traditional money. W/o state control.
Is it not better to leave the opportunity to develop what is, than to continue to spray funds on scoundrels?

I do not know how this works and is managed. If all this is basically without control, then the future of the cryptocurrency world looks vague. However, this is interesting, because in addition to the expected collapse, there may be unexpected surprises.
Crypto is a free sphere, and this freedom is not what you or I want. So it does not work with your or my rules and it is normal to have something different like this. Actually, unlike you I do not want to sell my freedom for anything. We accept this market as it is. It is the freedom itself that connects me here. Otherwise, I was already busy with Forex.
