401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is Cancer. on: August 03, 2017, 01:09:11 PM
For me too i think the only use of bcc is just for dumping after it was splitted. It just as the same as btc but off course different features. But I don't see any new miners that would be enticed to mine it. It does not require Segwit and although it is much more bigger than btc, it is still a fact than it is just a regular action with no extra features like other around in the market.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin news on: August 03, 2017, 12:47:19 PM
For now there has been no significant change in bitcoin price movement and still relatively stable, maybe in the next few months hopefully there is a positive change to bitcoin price.

Surely there are because now miners and traders can have a good advantage during full implementation of Segwit after the hardfork has been released. It might be too long to wait a month but think this august, exchange sites will be flooded with bcc and btc because after dumping bcc people will now but or sell there bcc so brave your selves for major price changes.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: A big ride is about to come on: August 03, 2017, 10:32:37 AM
To say it was expected for the price not to go down is quite easy now that it has already happened. And that is the norm when something has happened already: it is quite easy to analyze and get an explanation on why did it actually happen. The difficult thing is to predict ahead.

But fine for all, if Bitcoin keeps raising, I'm in. Lol.

Probably but it is not yet clear Segwit is fully implemented. Therefore there will be a sure pump in prices when that time comes so better be keen in your own chosen exchange site. Not that it would become a panic selling but it's better to see the movement of prices rather than just waiting for others comments. Because by that time you may have to wait another time to dump your coin.

404  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-02] The Birth of BCH: The First Crazy Days of “Bitcoin Cash” on: August 03, 2017, 08:00:32 AM
Oh i see. But i think I have yet to experiment these delays of transaction and security of this BCC. I just tried some minor trades from bth- bcc and eth- bcc. In bittrex I did not yet deposit or withdraw anything from the site. I to am still waiting for final sync before making big trades and until this hype may cool down. I too would hope mining maybe fixed soon on BCC.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: In about 8 days Bitcoin will finally lock in SegWit on: August 03, 2017, 06:20:49 AM
.. a step forward we waited for more than 2 years to see!

And what do brave bitcoiners do? They mourn about a new Altcoin.

I also am looking forward in an optimistic way because of Segwit - although my favourite scaling solution is not Lightning but the "Drivechain" mechanism (or, alternatively, extension blocks).

But I think the continuously high price shows us that not many Bitcoiners are really "mourning" - aside from some forum drama queens Wink The buy pressure is high despite some big blockers dumping their BTC.  And it looks like the big money is waiting to jump in (or already jumping in): In the German marketplace Bitcoin.de, for example, after BIP91 got locked in the amounts of the buy orders rose to record level. I expect that to happen again - at all exchanges - when the Segwit blocks are nearing the 95% threshold.

Currently from what I'm seeing also, bcc and btc are still in a high number especially bcc that is still unstable. What i read was that Segwit will lock in at about august 10? Is that right? so I don't think there are yet many big blockers who are making trades in the market until it could be completed. And if so i think altcoins now also will make there move.
406  Local / Pamilihan / Naghahanap kung sino pwedeng magpautang [Need: 500PHP] on: August 03, 2017, 04:30:40 AM
Mga kabayans naghahanap ako kung sinong may magandang loob dyan na pwedeng magpautang sa akin ng 500 PHP, to be paid within 3 days, interest ng 150PHP. Meron sana akong gustong bilhin na pantalon(Levi's 511 skinny) sa isang mall kasi 20% sale off sila ngayon, medyo nagkulang sa budget. PM lang sa mga interesado.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BCH Price on: August 03, 2017, 02:57:56 AM
I waited a little and dumped all of them. Thats totally free money.
Don't be greedy dump them all nuts!

I can see that some holders are still holding on to there BCC. I mean you could  wait business its not always  that  the price of bcc is in a tick toxic i doubt it would again come to 1000$. Little by little its becoming stagnant at the price of 800$ as long as it is still on its peak, better make a trade now some say that because if havnt made a trade august 10 it maybe in another long time that bcc  will peak to that price again.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, BitcoinCash & Poverty on: August 03, 2017, 02:22:25 AM
Which marketcap you are talking about? Marketcap currently bitcoincash have?
Its just a manipulation and internal trading, price of bitcoincash dropped from 1400$ to below $500 in bittrex within few hours.

When all those marketcap will shift towards bitcoin we can easily see $3k for BTC within next few days.
Neither bitcoin, nor bitcoin cash will be helpful to remove poverty fully.BCC is just pumped and soon it would fall down.BCC holders just waiting for platforms to be opened to dump their BCC.In one way, this hard fork has proved that bitcoin could not get destroyed and it would continue to exist increasing in price gradually.

It may not help poverty but it could give opportunity little by little to small time traders. And the rise and decline of the bcc will continue until maybe most of the split are now being regulated because as of now some are still having issues getting there free bcc although as i observed, there are a lot of bcc dumping in different exchange sites.
409  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal bitcoin or illegal bitcoin on: August 02, 2017, 10:20:48 PM
I suppose you meant and should rephrase your post as Bitcoin recognized as a currency or not. If it is recognized as any form of money one is liable for paying tax on that and you wanted a vote to know what others think. In my opinion, I would vote that Bitcoin better not be recognized as a currency or any form of asset by my government.

Might be that what he was trying to point out is that  if btc does not break any codes and protocols in the web.

It is legal but in someays it can be illegal depending on how someone advertises btc. But off course some issue is the identity. Some people might be using btc to fund things that can harm the anyone but in most cases in just gives opportunity to anyone smart enough in investing. I may have seen sites that was shut down on related to btc but that is for a different violation.
410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC still so high eventhough BCH is going up on: August 02, 2017, 02:38:53 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#markets

Why is BCH over $800 on Trex and over $1000 on Yobit?  Grin

yeah we will see BCH/BCC hitting $1000++ or even we can see $2000,
but no matter what,Bitcoin Cash will never replace Bitcoin.Because Clone always be a Clone,
other than that Bitcoin Cash also has an issue with their system (or might be no,i got this info from coinbase),
it's just matter of time when everybody hyping this altcoin and then BOOM mass selling happen.
I just hope, you guys don't get caught by their scheme and don't be greedy.
even if you only profitting $100 just take it,it'll be better profitting other than lossing.

Remember what they did with their false Bitcoin before, just like Bitcoin Unlimited and Bitcoin Core.
it will not be the first and it will not be the last for them.

I dont think bcc is a clone because it has very different feature than btc. Not because it was named as btc, it will automatically be its clone. It is just another altcoin that was produced by btc and in somewsome ways it is just a renovation rather than a clone. Bcc is under maintenance for now so better yet wait for a week or so then you  can trade your bcc.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH surpass BTC? on: August 02, 2017, 11:02:03 AM
A lot remains to be seen with BCH. But for now, it seems unlikely because of the lack of trust in it's backers (most notably, bitmain, a bitcoin mining company who wants to gain control of bitcoin). Many have already dumped their BCH.

Yap and for now BCH is the most famous altcoin in the market. But i guess there are still a lot of bch to be dumped in the market So there is like a high chance that the increase rate of BCH is gonna be fast. From 300$ to 500% in just over 5 hours is just ridiculous for a so called alt coin. Until all of the stored and acquired BCH is gone it still gonna keep on increasing because thats might be the only effect of BCH in the market.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to make transactions now?! (2 august 2017) on: August 02, 2017, 10:21:12 AM
Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether can be safe to make transactions now without they get lost in the network ending in loosing bitcoin.
I've tried to make a transaction two hours ago for 0.007 btc (o.001 btc fee) and seems to work properly as I already received 6 confirmations.
Before proceeding with a larger sum I wanted to know who experienced delays or whathever else...
Thanks

I think there are some misconceptions because it is safe for now because the only issue is the confirmation of bcc that has somethings thats currently being dealt with. Btc is ok as it was before, that usually depends on the amount you are trading. Not unless you are trading with bcc then i too still am waiting for some updates and news from fellow members who is going to trade bcc before dumping.
413  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-01] Bitcoin’s Civil War is Over But Bitcoin Price Set For Extreme Volat on: August 02, 2017, 04:49:34 AM
Once and IF BCC is determined to merely be an alt coin, then my opinion is BTC will soar.  Of course we all have opinions, but right now the new fork appears to me to be a "bump" in the road and beyond that it might be smooth sailing.  If I am proven to have guessed wrong I'll switch to the other leg of the new fork, which for now is an easy process.

Im sure most will see it as fork because for now BCC is just a dumping site for those who got it free during the hardfork. For no that is, because off course even if the so called civil war has ended, there will always be another issue in which not all of the founding members could come up with just one solution or will agree upon. And in terms of prices, surely bcc will decrease in time but it still has a good chance to compete with other altcoins out there.
414  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned on: August 02, 2017, 04:08:33 AM
Legalisation doesn't bother me, since I don't have to pay taxes.

Surprising. BTW, are you saying that you don't want to pay any taxes (although you are obliged to do so), or are you saying that there is no tax on profits from Bitcoin sale in your country? I hope that it is the latter case.

Well if it were in my country too i'd rather use btc because for many years our country been one of the most corrupted government (My mates from Philippines will agree to this) even with the tax of 32% nothing is happening and only the same families are becoming richer and richer.  AT least now, there are some changes in the government in which may in time bring us out of the list of of corrupts. So for me btc is yet the closest thing to at least having an ease of life in our country.
415  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-01] Coinbase Could Face Legal Battle For Leaving Out Bitcoin Cash on: August 02, 2017, 03:34:47 AM
And so if I make my own fork and they don't support it, then that is also "plain robbery"?

In my own perspective they have announced that they are not supporting bcc which by all means is legal so its on the users choice to risk his btc to that said exchange site right?. And off course all sites have slight gain in some interest in every transaction that occurs in there exchange site but coinbase for example may have made huge interest that laws have against it.
416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is there a "Bitcoin Crash" planned for Aug 1st? on: August 02, 2017, 03:02:04 AM
Why is there a "Bitcoin Crash" planned for Aug 1st?
Are planned crashes regular events, or is this one special?

Crashes are not planned, some whales may like to spread FUD and see the price to get lower to buy more bitcoins, but it is impossible to plan, crashes happen when something bad occurs to bitcoin or some bad news regarding bitcoin adoption or because an exchange was hacked and a lot of coins were lost, those kind of events are able to crash the market.

Just a speculation mate since due to split people thinking that the price of btc will get affected on it, But expectation of the other people has been proven wrong since by looking at this days rate btc proves its strength and maybe by this time most provably bitcoin will pump and eliminate those people who gives negative ratings on it when august is not approaching.

The real issue is how much would bcc cost in the market. Now its at 430$ so i guess it is a real oppurtunity to sell for people who has bcc. But its not easy also to get your free bcc. For it needs some confirmations. Right now bcc holders are in a roll once they sell bcc but in some time i think bcc might become less and less valuable because it can also be just a dump coin.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: The Feds Are Terrified Of Cryptocurrencies... But They're Powerless To Stop Them on: August 02, 2017, 01:01:34 AM
A lot of countries already realize the potential of Bitcoin that is why some of the country start to legalized Bitcoin and they are trying to regulate Bitcoin, some of the governments already feared that most of his citizen using Bitcoin and that can caused the taxed to be decreasing, a lot of them is thinking how to make Bitcoin into centralized, but still haven't find anything that can stop crypto yet

And i think the more government threatens cryptocurrency the more people are enticed to invest in btc than government banks. Think of the tax if you are in a 3rd world country especially if it's 30% and up and you will really have doubts and you would really try btc. With growing population of investorsainvestors and the new current update btc will even become more famous than this past years.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Opinion : I think BitcoinCash (BCH) Will reach $500 on: August 01, 2017, 11:32:09 PM
Once I buy some BCH, it'll crash. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a couple.

Because for now bcc is unstable off course it is just new and as it was stated needs at least 30 confirmations to a a sure transaction rather than 3 confirmations but it is highly risky. Better yet wait august 10 until everything is fixed because there still reorgs that is happening around the bch chain. The most common advice is don't put everything in 1 transaction so try experimenting a bit if you want.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the Bitcoincash will have lower transaction fees? on: August 01, 2017, 10:00:31 AM
When will we have final picture of split process? Today?

Yap in some minutes of after 10am

I've read that bitcoincash is improving (for some) three features of bitcoin and the process of transaction is one.
Will the transaction fee decrease, or will be lower than bitcoins?

With cheap fees, it will both happen to BTC and BCH or BCC in some quarters because if that wont happen then I don't see any need for this whole scenario in the first place but that does not mean it will be adopted massively even if its cheaper than BTC because there are several major exchanges not supporting the coin which might limits its use thereby its popularity. Hopefully, in the coming days things will get clearer and everyone will be able to decide the direction to follow.

Bcc also has bigger mb than btc and but off course it has no Segwit yet. Even though bcc is bigger in size there is still a chance that it will only be dumped after the hardfork. This i think some of the reasons why some exchange sites won't support bcc because of that event. Give it few weeks or even months then we will see if bcc really is a successful coin split.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 01, 2017, 05:21:20 AM
There is already an assumed price of bcc in some market and it ranges from 100 to 200 dollArs. But that is just some speculAtion probably most bcc owners will dump everything once fork has ended. It really is just an altcoins in the market after the hardfork that i think will be in effect in a few moments. But bcc has a better feature than by so who knows what's gonna happen.
