4122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I Buy A Silkroad Seller Account From Anyone? on: June 07, 2012, 01:43:55 PM

Right!

I have 6,325 BTC and 53,244.35 USD in bitcoinica. I will join forces with AurumXchange. I want MTGOX CODES for each TODAY or I will prosecute to the full extent of the law.

Maria.

Just exchanged 3,000 BTC. Everything is working smooth now. Makes me wonder, Why MTGOX does not offer instant LR payouts? Great Job www.CoinExchanger.com

Maria.

Good luck.

PS. I can't seem to locate your claim. Where should they send the money to?

Zhou Thank you for looking into it personally and for responding so fast. You can send me the MTGOX CODES in a PM this way the admins can confirm the payment. Again thank you Zhou it makes me happy to hear that the big accounts will be paid out first!!

Thank you Zhou Tong!! I will keep the community posted.

Maria.

Are you really that dumb or just playing dumb?

Did you bother opening the homepage before trying to fix it?

Yes.  Did you read the words in the screenshot you just provided?

Just provide your password (which we hash with JavaScript; view source to verify) or a SHA-1 hash of your password below, and we'll check.

For example here is a hash of my LinkedIn password.
http://www.leakedin.org/?check=04858397aa974628e2f20f62661034dfa7dcd233

Have fund spending the next thousand years trying to brute force it.

SHA-1 may be degraded but having the hash only doesn't really give you anything useful.

Hell here is a SHA-1 hash of my MtGox password ee5f21d188bb765b74c315cf4cda472e50f55c02
and here is SHA-1 hash of my BitcoinTalk password 030b02c46b7c238cb21ac04a7aadd1d937c5c2e2

Congrats you just collected 3 SHA-1 hashes.  That has got to be worth something.

Except most people will just enter their password there.
You can trust them all you want, but don't tell people to do it.

Looks like Zhoutong caught himself another Coinexchanger shill. Great work!

Incredible as it may seem I didn't saw even 1 person complaining that coinexchanger kept their money, shills or no shills.

Can you say the same about Bitcoinica?

Incidentally, Capri200 either wasn't used or hasn't been cracked yet.

Matthew is just taunting all the uber libertarians here, I bet.

Bitcoinica were the ones who signed up to play by the Govts rules... Since they are hiding behind legal BS and not being open about this Matthew is surly just trolling.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Add to it that Bitcoinica's main currency was USD and not Bitcoin and it's uber trolling.
4130  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin know what time it is? on: June 07, 2012, 12:35:29 PM
Quote
Each block contains a Unix time timestamp. In addition to serving as a source of variation for the block hash, there are also validity checks, that make it more difficult for an adversary to manipulate the block chain.

A timestamp is accepted as valid if it is greater than the median timestamp of previous 11 blocks, and less than the network-adjusted time + 2 hours. "Network-adjusted time" is the median of the timestamps returned by all nodes connected to you.

Whenever a node connects to another node, it gets a UTC timestamp from it, and stores its offset from node-local UTC. The network-adjusted time is then the node-local UTC plus the median offset from all connected nodes. Network time is never adjusted more than 70 minutes from local system time, however.

Bitcoin uses an unsigned integer for the timestamp, so the year 2038 problem is delayed for another 68 years.

They better start working on it lol

Am I the only one who notices the irony here that it took 3 years for Bitcoin to crawl back to governments to handle their issues for them?

What does Bitcoin have to do with the problems between a company and its customers?

I'm playing Devi's advocate if you hadn't noticed. It doesn't matter what reality is, if lawsuits are made, this will be our new slogan to the unwashed masses:

"Bitcoin: When the going gets tough, the tough go back on every principle they believe in."

Sorry, I still don't grasp the Bitcoin involvement in it.

4133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: OMG 1 terahash = 1 million USD ahahahaha on: June 07, 2012, 12:11:41 PM
WHAT IS SO SCARY IS NEXT YEAR when 1 terahash will only produce 500,000 USD because of the block split to 25 coins.

Citation needed.

No.
4135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Mining Company on: June 07, 2012, 11:55:13 AM
I cannot change the payout address.

Pyramining needs to do it with the account holder authorization.

I have a silly question:  Is there any way to tranfer ownership of an account?  I have an account and may want to sell it to someone.  Is there any way to do that?

No, it is not possible: for security reasons, accounts can't be modified, therefore there is no way to modify a "payout address".

Are you more special than BurtW, eliale?
4136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Password Leak] LinkedIn database hacked on: June 07, 2012, 11:50:27 AM
LastPass has your encrypted passwords. They don't, however, have the decryption key.

Will you put your ass on the line to defend that statement as an absolute truth?
4137  Economy / Services / Re: PyraMining - Mine without a Farm and Profit! on: June 07, 2012, 11:03:54 AM
What is the pyramining p2pool address? This way we can see how much of our hashrate is going to p2pool.

You should ask on the pyramining support thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80845.0
