because there is not clear information abour newbies restrinction, i thing it shoul be some information on first page
It was mentioned on the registration page and you had to mark a checkbox saying you understood those rules. If you didn't see it there I don't think you would see it on the first page.

Well, this is odd.
I guess I took the mantra 'read lots, write little' too closely to heart. I've typically read while not even logged in. However, a cursory glance at my profile will confirm that I have been registered here for over a year.
I have what some would consider significant holdings, some locally, some in various exchanges. I lived through the TradeHill<>Dwolla conflagration (kudos the the TH team for stepping up to prompt reimbursement), and dodged a number of the other fiascoes.
I interact with local superstar BurtW in person (e.g. in meatspace) several times a week, and have for about two years now. I'm sure he'll vouch to this fact. Our day gigs coincide, as do our geographies.
Basically, I ain't a n00b, though my post count might tend to lead to the adverse conclusion.
So whaddaya think - can I get a hall pass?
Yes I know this guy and will vouch for him. He will be a great addition to the forums. jbreher is whitelisted.

Aren't copyright notices required or else information is in the public domain? If there are no notices then from my limited knowledge I would guess it was in the public domain legally.
According to US law... Q. Do I have to register with your office to be protected?A. No. In general, registration is voluntary. Copyright exists from the moment the work is created. You will have to register, however, if you wish to bring a lawsuit for infringement of a U.S. work. See Circular 1, Copyright Basics, section “Copyright Registration.” From http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-general.htmlI'd love a C&D notice, I'd publish it here so people know on which door they should knock to get their money back I support this method. Well played, Monsieur.

I think you must wait 2 months after registration date before you can transfer a .com domain. Ofcourse I may be confusing this with a specific registrar policy.

(Jan tries to dodge the flames thrown by eWallet developers)
...flames... Actually wouldn't MyWallet qualify? Except maybe the user decided when to upgrade? Yes. It is the most secure web based wallet we have. Ben did a really good job. There are two things that stick out: 1. The end user does not decide when to upgrade the javascript that handles private keys. 2. The server has all the encrypted private keys. I don't see a good way around this without an external piece of software running on a user controlled device. Personally I think that the keys being on the server is more secure than a standard satoshidice install. To get my wallet you would have to steal my phone and my password. As opposed to just sitting at my desk for a couple of mins. Oh... MEGA LOL You better stop gambling your bitcoins, son, you're becoming obsessed

True, all exit nodes are public.
Running an exit node on a hidden server is dumb dumb.
The dumb dumb part was saying they were running an exit node and even go as far as giving an aproximate timeframe for when it went live and when it went offline. Only the act of running an exit node could've even helped them with plausible deniability, if they managed to do it right.

Repeating the questions at hand: - How much hashpower might Gpumax have?
None of your business. - Who is paying for the premium on Gpumax, and why?
None of your business.

It's a well know spammer scammer. His previous site was that klamm one. Stay away. Several forum users were scammed by them. At least a couple of them I remember went there to spend $10 just to prove it was a scam, in the hopes of geting the money back because it was paypal they used to pay for it. Paypal didn't return their money and they ended up scammed for realz lol Also can you please change the thread title from "Could be Easzpay legit?" to "Easzpay is not legit!" Good thing the forum software catched the URL and took it out, or else you would be advertising for them now

I see plenty of native english speakers around here who can't tell the difference between THERE, THEIR and THEY'RE... and it's just a little example as there are much more. Being born/raised in a certain country doesn't make you literate in that language.
True, but some errors are typical and widespread, while some others are untypical for native English speakers. For example, would any native English speaker ever say: "I hope you soon realize …" Why wouldn't they? I know plenty of persons who write just like they speak, even when it makes sentences odd(and by saying odd I'm being nice). Please explain it to us. Give your best shot at the literary analysis of Pirate's posts, please. Also, google doesn't agree with you, on the rarity of the exact same sentence structure http://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q="I+hope+you+soon+realize"

By the way, Pirateat40 keeps making some subtle grammatical errors that non-native-English speakers rarely notice, but which, nevertheless, a native English speaker would not make. His English is pretty good, but I still doubt that he is of American or British origin.

Hi, Please whitelist me. I've been trading ฿ since early 2011. I used to mine with a ATI HD6600, but I don't any longer. I'm rated on #bitcoin-otc (!getrating fridge), and lurk on a few other bitcoin related IRC channels. I own stocks on GLBSE. I trade on a couple of exchanges (weexchange, mtgox) I've never bothered to register on bitcointalk previously, as I mainly lurk anyway. But I'd like to be able to contact a couple of GLBSE stock owners about their assets, and reply to their specific posts.
Having signed the message with your OTC key would go a long way... Just sayin'

No. I received this email. I was still in the verify@bitcoinica.com mailing list. I believe that the theft happened much earlier and no one discovered. No one cared about this spammy-look email either (or they don't check their mailbox). I totally believe in this, after reading everyone complaining that they sent email to verify@bitcoinica.com and almost never got an answer, which wasn't the case when they emailed genjix at the gmail lol

Adding to my previous post agreeing with bitcoinBull. If it was an inside job it wasn't Patrick or Amir. First we had this. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=81045.msg894435#msg894435Please don't blame genjix. It's definitely not his fault.
He's not in our mailing list so it couldn't be him.
Well, shit just happens and it's not anyone's fault or incompetence here. I'm the only guy awake when the incident happens. and now we have this Posting an update soon.
good news? If it's related to my previous email to the Bitcoinica team, no, it's a bad news. This was a pointless and malicious comment. Are you trying to further harm their reputation or your own? Because they're not entirely separate. No, I was merely stating a fact. I discovered something unusual and I emailed them. They promised an update. And that's it. I don't have the right to update you publicly because I have some advantage in obtaining insider information. I'm not part of the "bad news" and I'm not involved in Bitcoinica. If I didn't tell them they will discover the problem anyway. Someone care to explain to a dumb guy(me) how is it that a guy who isn't "involved in Bitcoinica" discovers a theft of almost $400k before the ones who are involved in Bitcoinica?
