@stoppots

Without really going over what you got I'm going to send you the bounty for providing evidence without attacking me. It can be done.

Send me an address.  Smiley

I'm eager to take a look at what you sent, I'm sure it will help further my case in the long run too.

If you went over what he posted you would find the address at the end Wink

I can't wait to see what noob gets scammed from you two, you can sticky this no high quality designer will actually take time to make something. Paint is so high quality LOL

So, the tools are what makes the high quality designers? Right...

I wonder what Picasso used... Roll Eyes

LOL you saw those designs you can't tell me some of those took like 5mins and look like a 4yr did them COME ON, I am just saying at that price point no HQ designer will come and do work for that I know, my designer friend wouldn't even open up photoshop and plug in his Wacom tablet for less than 15btcs.

Good, then you don't need to tell him about the bounty.
Problem solved.

3165  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-07-25 various - (regulator hits 'brazillian bitcoin investment group') on: July 27, 2012, 09:20:54 PM
Well, either we are not getting all the details or the regulators have a shitstorm ahead of them.

What shitstorm?
They've sent a sort of "cease and desist" letter to Leandro, who, not wanting to get screwed, complied.

He told us he did not complied. Do you have a source where he says otherwise?

He removed the thread from the forum. He started another one asking for loans, because asking for loans and paying interest isn't illegal Wink
3166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoins. Use carrots instead! on: July 27, 2012, 03:04:00 PM
My carrots were stolen! However, they all had a unique serial number. Please blacklist them so they can't be used again!

Tainted Carrots? o_O

I just threw a bunch of rotting carrots in the bin, does this mean they're lost for ever? And does this increase the value of the remaining carrots in existence ?

I found a smart solution to replace them with fresh carrots however, I figured I could grow them in my garden! Anyone else thought of this noble idea?

Perhaps I should trademark it ?

There is a company specialized in Carrot Farming selling contracts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6431.0
3167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoins. Use carrots instead! on: July 27, 2012, 01:56:20 PM
Let's ressurect this.

There were no MyBitcoin or Bitcoinica scandals to worry about back then. Wink
Vejam quão longo é o "braço" do estado...

(...)
V - as cotas de fundos de investimento em valores mobiliários ou de clubes de investimento em quaisquer ativos;
(...)
(grifos meus)

Ou seja, pela lei a CVM pode considerar como "valor mobiliário" e querer te "enquadrar" ate mesmo se vc criar algum instrumento financeiro usando "gold" do jogo Diablo 3 ou do World of Warcraft, hehe!  Cheesy

Entao galera fica o aviso:

3169  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous Instant Reloadable VISA card on: July 27, 2012, 01:24:16 PM
I'm looking for reloadable EUR cards (sealed) from Poland? Can anybody help?

Make that 2 of us.
I need at least 8 for now.
3170  Other / Meta / Re: at what point should bitcointalk rid itself of the alt-coin circuses? on: July 27, 2012, 12:31:59 PM
If we get rid of the board they'll just start posting in other boards about it. At least it's all contained in that one forum.

And as much as I would like to keep the alt coins and it's trolls out of sight I wouldn't wish to stop geting the updates on Namecoin, which is the only alt with merit, but it's still an alt-coin, so it would have to go also.
3171  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: TÓPICO REMOVIDO: Grupo de Investimento on: July 27, 2012, 11:43:18 AM
3172  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-07-25 various - (regulator hits 'brazillian bitcoin investment group') on: July 27, 2012, 10:47:50 AM
So a government does the only sensible thing and treats Bitcoin as money or dare I say "virtual currency" and this is an attack on Bitcoin by a "parasitic" government. I do not think so. For many of us that is good news.

They've forbidden a group of people from making money together. No fraud or crime had happened. Leandro was not hiding his identity.
In what universe can such prohibition be good news??

If they decide to apply all their stupid and corrupt laws to bitcoin as they apply to "their money", they'll just make the bitcoin ecosystem almost as awful as the traditional financial system.

Maybe you should read this: http://themonetaryfuture.blogspot.com/2011/11/air-guitars-and-bitcoin-regulation.html

I think the key to this whole event it this
Quote
Leandro was not hiding his identity.
, this is where he went wrong, or at least he didn't think it would matter. Had his identity been kept a secret then they could have done nothing, not knowing who he was they would have been unable to prosecute, or even send him a letter with angry words.

I think we know the direction that needs to be taken regarding the identity of people doing things in bitcoin land.

Really I think this is a case of the right people not being bribed.

Doesn't that concern you in regards to GLBSE? You're also not anonymous. Far from it.
3173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: July 27, 2012, 02:02:01 AM
Oh crap, i see that you have Coinabul in your sig!
No wonder you won't white-list me.
There is a conflict of interest here!

Unrelated. If it makes you feel better I'm also not whitelisting you. No Coinabul on my sig. Wink

3177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind hangs on CentOS on: July 26, 2012, 11:59:38 PM
Code:
$ nohup bitcoind &
$ exit

That should be all. It works for me. It's strange it didn't work.
But gweedo is right. You should start it with the system and avoid those problems.

To check if a certain process is running and start it if not you can do something along the lines of

Code:
#!/bin/bash

if ! pgrep bitcoind > /dev/null
then
  <do something to restart the bitcoind>

Im living in Victoria, Australia and I could go and visit mr zhou tong  Smiley
Yeah, planning that on a public forum sounds like a really smart idea too.

Just because they're planning a whacking on the forum, doesn't mean they have the guts to do it.

It's called "The Teflone Method" lol
3179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind hangs on CentOS on: July 26, 2012, 10:53:18 PM
You have a few options:

-   Turn off huponexit: shopt -u huponexit. The process may still exit if it ever tries to write to the terminal after it's been closed, depending on how it handles write errors. (Note that twiddling this option only affects that one shell. You'll need to add it to a shell startup script — or find and delete the corresponding command that's turning the option on — to have it apply to all shells subsequently started.)

-   Use nohup to run the command instead. This wrapper ignores SIGHUP, letting the underlying command run unaffected. Standard output streams are redirected into a file.

-   Use screen. This starts a completely new terminal session. You can detach to this session and reattach to it at a later time, as you please.
