4181  Economy / Securities / Re: Any GLBSE assets issued by women? on: June 03, 2012, 09:32:12 AM
Mousepotato's the only female I'm aware of doing significant transactions on the forum and not scamming folks out of money. AFAIK, every lender is male, and every user who I've done business with is male.

There is at least 1 other girl. Altho she doesn't post in the english forums much cause she needs google translate to help her Wink
4182  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-06-01 Berlin Restaurant Experiments With Virtual Currency on: June 03, 2012, 09:20:26 AM
Was that article written in German and translated to english using Google Translator, or...?
4183  Economy / Services / Re: Please delete me on: June 03, 2012, 08:55:21 AM
Also if the two previous posters ever see this again, could you please edit your posts to remove said work email, I'm rather tried of wading through this rubbish trying to find the emails that actually ARE work related.

tired

lol
4184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCK CHAIN WALLET-VANISHING BITCOINS!! WTF!!! on: June 03, 2012, 08:31:27 AM
SIDE NOTE: After making this post I have slowly but surely have been receiving my balance back in multiple transactions. Interesting. Not complaining. And I am getting more grateful with each transaction. I am only 1 BTC away from the correct balance  Grin

And why don't you change the fucking thread title like I told you to?
Bad mouth the wrong person much?
4185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCK CHAIN WALLET-VANISHING BITCOINS!! WTF!!! on: June 03, 2012, 12:17:54 AM
How much more time will you need to change the thread title?

Faisal7 may be a moron, but you're also one if you continue to blame someone who has nothing to do with it...

You're a gambler, blame the gambling service, not the bank who sent the money there
4186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCK CHAIN WALLET-VANISHING BITCOINS!! WTF!!! on: June 02, 2012, 08:50:42 PM
The problem is with SatoshiDice and not with the BlockChain.info wallet.
Change your thread title to reflect the real culprit.
And do a search on the forum for others with the same problem you have.
4187  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Payout Updates] Bitcoinica site is taken offline for security investigation on: June 02, 2012, 07:57:07 PM
......the guy had a prophecy...

Epiphany ?

Or that. Too much red wine. Can't think straight on my own language, much less in english Grin
4188  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Payout Updates] Bitcoinica site is taken offline for security investigation on: June 02, 2012, 07:36:47 PM
02 June 2012 21:26: The process is at an impasse because of some legal wrangling.

hmmm... I remember someone mentioning your lawyers in the other thread.
Wonder if it has something to do with this and the guy had a prophecy...
4189  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Small Transaction -- Selling 2.7BTC for $15 in Paypal USD on: June 02, 2012, 04:08:19 PM
Can be bought at MtGox for $14.17
If you really were tight on money you would offer a better deal lol
Seeing as PayPal currency is nothing more than a note saying that you may or may not receive the money in 180 days, I'd say it's a fair deal.

Depends on the person who's buying.
4190  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Small Transaction -- Selling 2.7BTC for $15 in Paypal USD on: June 02, 2012, 04:04:56 PM
Tight on money so who wants 2.7 BTC for 15 bucks?

Can be bought at MtGox for $14.17
If you really were tight on money you would offer a better deal lol

So, BCB, who's the naysayer now?

...if 3 out of the 4 topics you started on the forum are about finding methods to easily exploit Bitcoin.
4193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit Island project considers adopting Bitcoin on: June 02, 2012, 02:40:26 PM
No phones, no lights, no motorcars, not a single luxury? I think they are talking about Gilligan's Island.

Reddit crowd living in an island with no internet?
Right... tell me another joke, please, OP. You're good at this lol
It's a line from Weird Al's Amish Paradise lol.
Methinks this reddit island is a scam.

So is Bitcoin. A match made in heaven Grin
4194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I suspect GPUMax was compromised and passwords stolen on: June 02, 2012, 02:11:50 PM
Confirmed, found your email in spam.  Don't know how you got there but I'm sorry about jumping the gun.

Spam filters have the terrible habit of sending to spam any email that mentions the word "password" in them
And the subject line being "your site may have been compromised" also helped lol
4195  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: P2Pool payouts - 6 Confirmations on: June 02, 2012, 12:58:46 PM
If you can't wait 20hrs for the privilege of spending your mined coins you have bigger problems to address for sure.

4197  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: June 02, 2012, 11:08:05 AM
Is there any way to restore the wallet from a seed in Armory?
It claims to have deterministic wallets, but I couldn't find an option to restore.

Wallets -> Restore from Paper Backup

Ok I somehow missed that, is there a way to get the seed without a printer and physical paper?

Print it to pdf.

4200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SCAMMER ALERT - Gabriellz9 on: June 01, 2012, 08:33:00 PM
Bitcoins = Real money.  Pretend it is cash in your wallet.  Would you just hand over cash to strangers like this???  This is getting pathetic.

True or not.  Scammer awareness is needed.

I was already called a naysayer several times for trying to raise that same awareness you say it's needed to people who are distributing Bitcoins freely without doing proper research or risk assessment.
Pathetic indeed. People almost beg to be scammed around here.
