Good luck, you are far braver than me.

This statement makes no sense.

Quote
Payment terms:
Payment must be made within 24hrs of auction ending otherwise it will be passed to next highest bidder. Escrow through John K if he is available, 50% escrow and 50% upfront. I've been burnt too many times.

If I read that correctly. He has been stung using full escrow ?

Run Forrest, run.

Thank you. Now if you could just extend the confirmation time for payments from 1 hour to 2 hours that would be great.

BTC payments are taking forever to confirm. Last purchase I made did not make the 1 hour cut-off even though I paid it very fast.

Since you are a reseller. Maybe you will have an easier time of trying to get a hold of him and telling him his web site is broken.

Cgminer options

Anyone know how to add the following options to the cgminer config

I ssh'ed into the machine and added them like so

option api_network
option api_listen
option api_allow P:89.212.242.33,W:127.0.0.1
option api_groups P:switchpool:addpool:removepool:restart:save:*
option api_port 7777

Does not seem to work though

Has anyone had any success modifying the cgminer config with these options

You need to change the firewall rules to suit as well.

Any idea on what exactly needs to be changed in the firewall to allow the above ?

I had a look and it is not obvious to me. I have attempted to port forward 7777 but it does not seem to work.

Willing to give someone who is familiar with this a BTC tip if they can help me get this working
425  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 31, 2014, 11:33:20 PM
Does Bitmain even check PM/Email/Forum thread ?
No one can order anything with his web site ordering system broken.
It's currently the Chinese new year.  Everything in China is more or less shut down right now.

I wouldn't be surprised if the problems persist for a couple more days.

This is also why units sold now aren't scheduled to start shipping until 02/08.

Yes thanks. I was aware of that. I just assumed since he came on the other day and updated the pricing and opened up the ordering that he might still be somewhat available.

Hopefully he can attend to it soon and orders do not get backlogged because of the delay.

What kind of improvements do you see from adding a 2nd fan?

I'll go out on a limb here and say: It runs cooler.

I don't think there is any apart from the UK connection. The Bitco guys are probably European due to the broken English. The twats in this escapade were American
429  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 31, 2014, 08:13:52 AM
All,

I have been monitoring this thread and also replying to personal messages as I have no way of getting in touch with people due to the website being closed down.

Yes that 4.78 BTC transaction was for a pre-order of a miner from gokou2001 and I have been in touch with gokou2001 to arrange his refund.

After going through all BTC that were received for this project, I now feel confident that with this refund that I am looking to issue now, all refunds will have been issued to everyone who placed a pre-order with me.

I shall update the forum with a TXID once the refund has been issued as I have done previously after issuing the last refunds.
I am also looking to part ways from this forum and bitcoin altogether after I have done so.

Michael

EDIT - The full refund to gokou2001 (which is the last of all refunds to be made) has been sent.
The Transaction is here ..

er rebecca/micheal ...er side gender issues aside i'd like you/her to put the matter of www.ctsminer.com as a scam or not to rest...see below:

I would like to take this time to ask you to post a video of your 5TH prototype you said you had running before the www.ctsminer.com site was taken down....even if it is just a FPGA proof
of concept machine...we would like to see such to settle once and for all if you are a scammer or just as you state a person with too large of expectations on making a miner.

I assume if you do not want to show the prototype working and such as you stated you had completed...this will likely result in you forever being linked to www.ctsminer.com as a scam

and of course if thru your efforts you have an actual prototype 5TH unit that actually works...well hell...nothing wrong with that ...surely it softens the www.ctsminer.com dream loss right?

we await your reply with baited breath

er and which ever gender you choose to reply with is fine... a youtube video would be my suggestion for prosperity sake on all this

Searing

You are either clueless or spreading fud.

not accusing anyone of anything, but is there anything to be concerned about regarding the user Bitpop, or was he simply played?

Why don't you message Bitpop and ask him ?

Although I think the comment left is fairly self explanatory.

Helped me get a good VPN for my connection thanks, derp. Smiley

Lastly, wtf does it matter anyway. You can still be a tosspot and get positive feedback.

Antminer cgminer config api access

I have searched but could not find much. I do vaguely remember reading something about it somewhere though.

Does anyone know how to access cgminer config so I can add options like api access api allow api groups if that is possible.

*edit: I think I found it.

Getting an error when I try to apply my last coupon. It will not let me complete the purchase.

Quote
Unknown error:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Anyone else get this ?

OK I can't even complete the purchase without using the coupon.

No one has this error when purchasing ?

try cleaning your temp files and cookies with CCleaner and then try again

Thanks but still having the same problem. Also tried different browsers. Not sure if it has anything to do with it or not. But the order I made yesterday says expired even though it has payment confirmed.

*edit: Also just tried with a new account and also on a different machine. Still same error.

I am getting the same error.
I have sent a PM to Bitmain asking him to fix the web site ordering system.

Thank god. I thought I was going nuts because I was the only one. I hope he gets it fixed soon. I'd like to get these final orders in.

lol, I knew this tit was just one click away from a scam. I don't even need to unignore him to read his bullcrap.

Would be great if we could just get everyone to put him on ignore.

Ants are shipping in 10 days. You are foolish not to take the 2BTC offered right now.

Everyday that goes by it will get lower.
