I'm getting 'Server Error, Please try again later' when trying to register.

What are the risk involved in the lending process?

Got first staking reward, now I hold a lot of coins. Cheesy

Are there stats on this first distribution?
Last I heard was that around 5.34m BCO were staked with 53% staking for 12 months. Including bonuses, this comes out to around 8m-9m BCO. This was a few days ago, but with the increase in volume and users it could have gone up. We must also take into consideration when users started staking within the payout period and the rising volume. Because half the beginning of the payout period was of plow volume, the payout was lower. Now if we can hold on to this $0.5m volume for the next two weeks, we will be in for one hell of a profit share  Smiley

I got a lot of coins but don't now how much they worth all summed up, it would be nice to have that feature, total worth of portfolio in BTC.

424  Local / Portugal / Re: KRAKEN ou COINBASE? on: December 13, 2017, 11:48:10 AM
Bom dia!

425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Charlie Lee says Litecoin correction coming on: December 13, 2017, 11:22:51 AM
Charlie Lee tweeted that he expects a Litecoin correction soon. Here is the tweet

"Ok, sorry to spoil the party, but I need to reign in the excitement a bit...

Buying LTC is extremely risky. I expect us to have a multi-year bear market like the one we just had where LTC dropped 90% in value ($48 to $4). So if you can't handle LTC dropping to $20, don't buy! "

Might be a good time to sell for profit before the correction. any thoughts?

We are all expecting a correction in bitcoin price since $5000, the thing is nobody now when will happen and how high this bull run will go.

Hold tight your coins, take some profit, enjoy life.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2018 Bitcoin Cash price will overcome Bitcoin's value on: December 13, 2017, 10:01:57 AM
I'm betting litecoin sees bigger adoption and bigger market cap than bcash at some point, the flappening may be real.

The article is clearly not accurate:

"the technology adopted by the new Bitcoin is more advanced and performance than that of the original"

This is simply not true.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin going crazy on: December 12, 2017, 06:18:58 PM
I guess new users in Coinbase/GDAX are buying it since is the cheapest one between BTC and ETH  Smiley

It will probably correct soon

This also explains why GDAX/Coinbase lead the price and the difference in price between GDAX and other exchanges.

Ethereum will pump next.

Lembro-me, sim, cheguei a ver esse site.

Eu seguia uns quantos assim, como o dinheirooportunidade.com do Custódio.

No entanto é pena que ou não vi ou não prestei a devida atenção ao artigo/tópico no comoganharmuitodinheiro.com sobre bitcoin...
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Politics behind Bitcoin development? on: December 12, 2017, 04:54:01 PM
I understand that a fork results when a minority group decides not to concur with the consensus changes (or lack thereof) in the underlying Bitcoin Protocol.

Who are the people that participate in the "consensus"?  How are these votes cast?  What happens to dissenting voices that don't want a fork?

Open source software development follows the scientific method, people who want the block size increased failed to present enough evidence for such change, then they decide to run their own coin with their own rules.

how often does BCO staking pay out, twice a week ?

I think it os bi-weekly. Can anybody say in which weekdays?
We always receive in bco right? It’d be awesome receiving in several different crypto.

According to the devs, the payout is every two weeks. The first scheduled payout is for December 15th. For right now, the payouts will be issues in all the coins that were gathered from in fees. So if you have been staking, than your payout will be in a mixture of all the actively traded coins on the exchange. They said that later on, you will be able to choose which coin the share is payed to you in. Most likely BCO, or Bitcoin.

This is fine with me as most of the coins on the DEX right now are pretty good to have. Of course I would prefer to receive BCO which is what I'll be choosing to receive in the future.

There is some more good news, I saw on Twitter that Solaris will be the next coin added to the exchange on Sunday and I also saw someone tweet that CryptoBridge is now averaging 100 to 400 sign ups daily which is great for an exchange that is just getting started.

Where can I find those stats?

Hello I am just looking for some advice on regaining control of my bitcointalk account. I am unable to reset my password as I assume it is going to a new email set by the attacker. He has also been posting via my account recently.

433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: December 07, 2017, 05:18:59 PM
Look like the Btc is unstoppable, have sense invest in altcoin in this 2 month? Anyway wich alcoin can have a better growth (exept fork) then Bitcoin?

Now is the time to invest in altcoins, price is shit for almost everything, there's +90% below ICO and below previous all time highs.

Take another look to the projects you wanted to buy in, if price is good, now is your chance for a great entry.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO good or bad? on: December 07, 2017, 04:58:30 PM
ICOs are good for the people who make them, they get a lot of money without any accountability, it's like a donation.

They're bad for the people donating their money, because, you now, now they have less money...

436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value on: December 07, 2017, 03:37:29 PM
Hello, I have some difficult on find the BTC price.
For example in this moment GDAX 15.700$, CEX.IO shows 16.400$ , platform MT5 shows 14.700.

Which is the real value?

All of them are real and a great arbitrage opportunity for people who trade at all of those exchanges, although, fiat is slow and arbitrage is hard in these case.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Datacoin - DTC]2017 New Clients, New Developers on: December 07, 2017, 03:31:42 PM
Also is it still worthwhile to solo mine with a single GPU or should I be looking to join a pool?

You will find a few blocks but it does not worth it, just by some datacoin at BTCPOP, it's really cheap right now.

Do we need to keep wallet open in order to receive dividends just like PoS?

Or we just need to lock funds?

No. All you need to do is send your BCO to the DEX and set it to stake which locks the funds for your specified duration.  They have a tutorial on their mediumhttps://medium.com/@cryptobridge/tutorial-how-to-stake-bridgecoin-bco-on-cryptobridge-to-receive-50-of-profits-ce3fea3fad2e

What is the QT wallet for?

Got my BCO staking, let the fees flow. Cheesy

440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 05:20:45 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

Did you already made enough money to live the next 10 years?

Do you own your own house?

Do you have a comfortable portfolio?

If yes to all, quit your job, you're wasting your time there.
