This here makes sense to me: more interesting is the coinbase lack of coins - this possibly tells us the miners who they buy from are now close to or below cost of production and are no longer selling OTC, forcing coinbase back to exchange and needing to move fiat back to bitstamp or others. This is more indicative of a floor than any large wall on stamp. Don't expect a stellar rise though - once the price rises enough the miners will be back to dump their coins.
So sideways-ish for the next 2 months or so 3600 is nothing, it is just 12% percent of a wall that just got munched. Thanks for being a cud bear tho So much ignoring and Fonzie has been making more sense then the despair bears left I'm not a bear - HODLING with the rest.

Fun idea - no basis in fact - The gox bots were run by asic manufacturers - driving the price to silly high levels to justify exhorbitant prices for mining equipment, they have now run off with the fiat and delivered the room heaters.

How the fuck does this guy expect to separate the blockchain from the currency? Where's the incentive? make the money from the services offered on top of the blockchain - the companies will be incentivised to run nodes in order to keep the services functioning. Nothing stops coinbase, bitpay and okcoin running one full node each. Even if all other miners fell away the blockchain could still function and the services laid over the top generate revenue.

Was a bit of confusion in Russia news a day or so ago First of all they announced they were considering capital controls Then they announced they definitely weren't considering capital controls
So first make cryptocurrencies illegal - then introduce capital controls?

If you think it's close to panic now - just imagine the panic when we get to the halving and the price doesn't go up.
The best estimate for halving imo is bitcoinclock.com , which currently has it taking place on 2/8/2016, roughly 1yr and ten months now.

Exactly!!! Thanks for confirming not everyone here is a permabull scammer... The people interested in Bitcoin are already in it! Holding their coins! There is no new money coming in and miners are producing $1.8m in bitcoin PER DAY EVERY DAY, It will never stop or slow down. When do you see that much money coming into BTC daily??? Probably around when the last bitcoin is set to be mined & right before all the miners shut off their machines since mining no longer has a reward for them why would they run these machines & pay electricity just to keep the network running???
I think everyone will cash out long before the last bitcoin is mined anyway.
if the price goes down, people tend to buy more coz its cheap and if its cheap the average person can afford it. In my opinion it is better if its cheap its more user friendly Yes because I have to buy whole bitcoins don't I? Quick short gold because I have to buy it in whole ingots.

Big CORPS love the dollar, thats why the closest we'll see big corpos going crypto is something like Apple Pay. No big corpo is going to release a trusteable, open source coin. Bitcoin is safe in this regard.
Big Corps love the USD because they have to account in it.

This whole year Bitcoiners were telling me daily that the dollar is about to collapse. Instead the dollar is getting stronger by the day.
strongest of a bunch of weak currencies who are all competing to devalue. The USD is strengthening because it is at the close of its current bout of QE, the Euro is starting its, Japan is at the mid-point, and as for the CNY because it is not properly floated the government there is forced to contiually expand the credit in its system in order to keep its economy functional, and the debt burden there is already unsustainable. We are building up to a bang that will make 2007/8 look like a fizzle.

The world economy would collapse as the transaction speed and volume potential (ie number per block) are not yet big enough to support the global economy.

Nut job seems like the correct user name for you.
Are you just trying to hype this, or are you that clueless?
Explain why im wrong without personal attacks/insults and i might actually listen. Or are you just here to talk smack? Paypal do not care about the value of the bitcoin or price stability as they do not care whether you use their portal and pay with fiat, or with bitcoin. In fact given that they are not the bitcoin payment processor - they are using coinbase and bitpay and gocoin, - they would probably prefer you continue to use fiat as they will make more money that way. Its a for profit company with shareholders after all. I imagine they are using all three bitcoin payment processors as they are having a beauty parade before they decide which one to buy. Once they have bought one (or stolen enough ideas to build their own) then you might see an active push by Paypal towards bitcoin. However that in and of itself will not be enough to boost adoption, the thing that will boost adoption, is that if/when the cost savings available to consumers created by bitcoin are actually passed on to the consumers. This is not currently happening, and until it does there is no incentive for the general population to adopt.

supermodel wife is such a silly wish they usually come with an awful temper, and her beauty you will get tired of in 2-3 years maximum. so you are left with a bad tempered old model with saggy boobs who will blame her misfortunes on you. ouch. just a word of advice. better marry a kind average girl and get a supercar instead. that combo, at least, won't fuck your brain daily Supercar can get you laid with easy women every day. Why would you want one of them forever ? apply this basic rule and you will be happy If it flies, f*cks or floats, rent it.

It's happening right now. No it was last night - it was just a bear cull not a bull cull

... Or the more likely a bully stands up because he has more power and strength than others so he can demand others to work for him. Because others thought they were fed by him and were scared they were starting to worship him, a government was born.
The money revolution will not be televised. Fight the power! Bonus points: Name the revolutionary money service in the pic one with a tenuous grasp on the actual size of Greenland vs Australia? Greenland approx. 2,100,000Km2, Australia approx. 7,700,000Km2

I'm quite amazed where these huge sellers get their coins from.
Remember those 850.000 bitcoins "lost" on the MtGox? Somebody has the private keys of those BTC. Ask yourself what would you do if that was you. Would you hold all of them, or would you convert some to the fiat? If Bitfinex equalised their fees so that the cost of borrowing a bitcoin approached the cost of borrowing USD we might see different price action.
