421  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only] on: January 31, 2014, 09:36:33 AM
ya'll better hurry, I have been tempted to take the rest....demon, if I pay for what's left later tonite what happens to those that reserved but didn't pay up and I pay before they do?

If you buy the rest of the units then they are yours. The people that has reserved units will continue to have there units reserved till they pay or back out. Once the account hits the correct amount to pay the distributer and cover all shipping the order will be going in. Also will still need the other users to pay. Even if you buy the remaining units there still will not be enough to cover all units+shipping (I am not talking about shipping to me)
For those that still want more units and over the 300 units from batch 1 there will be more batches.

demon, it looks like about 200 or so are paid for with shipping, so roughly another 10/11 btc gets the wheels rolling right?

Dualminer charges 30BTC for 300 units.
beastlymac, thanks for that, but I don't quite have the 30 btc....

430  Economy / Marketplace / Re: FREE 240 Gh Hashing when ordering a KnC Neptune on: January 31, 2014, 01:32:18 AM
Wesly, glad to hear you are well and all is well with yours.....silence is golden....at the movies, lol. Anyway, we just wanted to hear from you , even if it was to say you were going on hiatus....but not saying anything, well that just lets rumor, gossip and the word 'scam' to run together.

Anyway, I would like to mention 2 things....

1-  of course it is still very early, but I am willing to host 1 unit if for whatever reason you are unable to host, and under the same terms you have stated here for all of us to enjoy so long as it is within reason for me to do so....for example electrical cost more than the mining is making

2- I believe KNC would let buyer and seller change or give reseller credit...meaning I bought one direct from KNC before using wesly's link for the 2nd, maybe we can get the 1st into wesly's reseller to help us along. (unless knc has recently changed that)

It was definitely not my intention to be away for this long, but it was really nice not having to worry or stress over what's going to happen especially when there is so little information to even speculate what might happen.  We might all just end up requesting for a refund and this would have been for nil.

Thank you, I will definitely keep that in mind since we still don't know how much power each Neptune will use.   I have pm you to see where you are at in the world.

When did that change?  There was several users who had confirmed changing reseller ID to mine without any problem and I assume they can also change it to someone else if they change their mind later.  I have no problem giving my permission to release their orders to associate to a different reseller ID.  It actually saves me from the headache and my obligation to to host and power all these Neptunes.
Wesly, on the 2nd part,
what I mean is that my 1st unit order was directly through knc, maybe we can add that one to your reseller links so it can count towards completing another round of ten.
I believe others did the same and might want to transfer to your reseller link as well.

432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 31, 2014, 12:51:37 AM

I think KNC is among the most honorable companies around,

you somehow have knowledge of that word?
Can you name another ASIC mining manufacturer that has done better?
i don't he meant it towards knc

inquiring minds should read the posts again for that information, i'm tired of repeating it, tired of the accusations, tired of the constant bickering bullshit. I'm as real and genuine as they come., and I don't owe anyone here shit, barring a couple neptune orders... you guys are safe..  always have been.
my question wasn't answered.....and I have read every single page in this thread. And no one has come out to say anything concrete.....for the rest of us, we have to "read between the lines" to get an answer, which then is not really an answer since it leaves it up us....
anyhow....so no new miner company, and this was a nice entertaining WHODUNNIT while it lasted. It even ends in mystery. nice.

Agusto Croppo (sp?) is legally entitled to the reward, under the law of very state in the Union.  He did everything that could be possibly expected under these circumstances to procure the return of the bitcoins.

Reward offers are legally binding (even if only verbal, and in this case they are in writing).

Apparently, Phoenix and Maui have decided to ignore the reward issue, in spite of the fact that they got exactly what they wanted as a result of their reward offer:  The work of highly skilled computer experts to track their BTC (with no guarantee of success).

Time for the sleuths to get the real names of Phoenix and Maui so he can get his reward.

And BTW, this was pretty cool.  The free market of ideas at work.  Not pretty, but it works.

if you used your brain and had read the thread better, you'd see augusto was indeed rewarded,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=429513.msg4829186#msg4829186

as was another...
one is refusing to be rewarded (Avenger)
his loss. I know there's at least a couple happy campers out there!
QUESTION??

are they all being rewarded what was promised/stated here on forum, or are they being "TIPPED"?

rewarded means their work resulted in the job done....

tip is more like a gift for someone already being paid to do a job but provided extra/excellent service

either you are pregnant or you are not prego

either they did the job or they didn't

boy i love mysterys
inquiring minds would like to know
