421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: February 06, 2019, 07:31:40 PM
decentralized exchange is very good now a days. no pump and dump because the trade is very slow. but what i hate about it is you need to import your wallet before you can trade it. too risky if you asked me.
If you are afraid of importing your wallet on DEX, to be on a safer side, you can just simply create a new wallet, send your token into it, then import it to the DEX. This way, you can be sure almost all of your portfolio is safe.
As for DEXes like Folkdelta, EtherDelta and so many other DEXes, I instead of importing your wallet, you are allowed to create a new one on that same platform.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: February 05, 2019, 11:48:33 PM
best one is Forkdelta
I guess you are more exposed  to Folkdelta than others. I have used both Folkdelta and IDEX, but i will always choose IDEX over it, because of more volume.
Apart from volume, almost all DEXes have the same user experience.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: February 05, 2019, 11:19:13 PM
Ethereum is also an altcoin which us also good to hold, if it can be gotten at a low price. For instance, some people were able to buy ethereum when the price was around $80. Now imagine, if such people are still holding the eth till this time, it means they are not at loss. So whenever a coin falls, we should always try as much as possible to make good use of such opportunity.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 best year for ICO on: February 05, 2019, 11:13:38 PM
We do not have to get to 2020, before we can see an ICO succeed. If truly the project has got the necessary factor or product that would attract investors and within a very short space if time, everything would be sold out.
Such project that has got a very good product, would then need a very little and the right advertisement channel to get to the end users or investors.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make investor interest to join ico on: February 05, 2019, 11:07:29 PM
The attractive force and the sellability between project differs. If a project does not have what it takes to attract investors, there is no amount of marketing that will be done, that will make it sellable.
Therefore, the project on its own needs to present something very useful worthwhile, else no one would want to adopt it.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: burning token on: February 05, 2019, 10:53:21 PM
I often read and heard about burning tokens that were not sold when the ICO project was finished, I also knew that by burning the rest of the token was a strategy so the price of the token didn't fall, but if the DEV and the team didn't burn it was a crime? is there a requirement that the remaining unsold tokens must be burned?
What will be done to leftover tokens or tokens that were not sold, is most times left for the developers to decide on what to do with it.
One thing that might put them under compulsion, but not necessary compulsory, is if it is already stated that tokens will be burnt. Then investors might want to hold them unto their words.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest Altcoin. on: February 03, 2019, 11:31:44 PM
The cheapest coin, might not still be the best coin or that it will bring some profits.
You can to some research to get some very good coins and a closer look will help to determine if the price is good for buy or not.
Sometimes, those good coins also plunge and you can easily buy them and wait for another dump.
Just try to avoid shit coins that also look very cheap.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: February 03, 2019, 11:27:53 PM
There are ICOs that still take other coins, but the most common is ETH.
I just tried to ask myself a personal question, in order tone able to answer this question and I said.
Why do I always like dealing with ETH rather than btc.
There are couple of reasons:
First, the transaction speed per second is a factor. You can easily transfer ETH about and still maintain the standard.
Then it seems to be easier to handle and the cost of transaction is low.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are the best..!! on: February 03, 2019, 11:20:39 PM
Some Altcoins have got good features on their platforms, which is why some of them are still relevant till date.
If a coin is not useful, gradually, it will fade off in the market, because investors might not want to have anything to do with such.
The fact that bitcoin came first, along side other factors, are reasons why btc has got such opportunity to still be ahead, but lack most of the features of altcoins.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 first quarter market prediction on: February 03, 2019, 11:15:28 PM
These are some of the things we would not bother ourselves with.
Speculating about the market does not change anything, because what will happen will definitely happen.
Bull run is not yet close and there is no indication yet that there will be bull run this year.
So, the first quarter of 2019 is  and will  continue to add value to the crypto space.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: February 03, 2019, 10:46:50 PM
There are lots of accompanying reasons why ICOs fail.
Most of the scam projects I have seen, find it difficult to reach soft cap. While some of them lied they already reached softcap, where has, no investor bought it.
I knew it was going to come to that, because they know investors or even bounty participants, were looking for ICO that had meet up to that.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors in 2019? on: February 03, 2019, 10:37:34 PM
Should we really say investors are leaving, which I do not think, because just as some are leaving, there are also those who are entering the crypto space.
The market though might not be that encouraging, just because of scam projects that they have been exposed to.
Despite the situation of things, some are still investing and earning their profits.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Distribution of tokens in installments on: February 03, 2019, 10:17:52 PM
It us believed that most bounty hunters dump, which might be true to an extent, but not always the case.
I have seem a project that does the same and yet the tokens dumped.
If they feel that will be effective, well they can.
The rate at which projects dump these days is sometimes quite alarming. So it seems most projects that are aware of the strategy, are the ones doing it.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: February 01, 2019, 04:22:23 PM
There is no end to ethereum yet, but there will always be some for forms of manipulations. Not only to ethereum, but to all coins in general.
Looking at the ATH of ethereum during the last bull run in comparison to irpts present price, it has lost moe than X10 of its value. Well this us still a general issue, with even the number one coin, yet the end has not come and will not come now.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll-Optimal coin distribution on: February 01, 2019, 04:21:48 PM
ICO might be good, but i am just thinking of such project not to have setbacks, except the investors can be patient enough.
For every real utility token project, with a working product, there us usually organic growth and no pump and dump be allowed, but the problem with so many of these projects, is that thy might begin to tell you, even after the ICO that their product is still under development.
This might delay its growth, so if ICO will be conducted, the product development should be fast tracked, at least to a useful stage.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you participate in crowdfunding? on: February 01, 2019, 04:20:11 PM
The main idea of crowdfunding is for investors to pull their monies together to support the launching of a project. Unfortunately people join ICOs as traders not investors so the moment the coin is being listed, they quickly dump them without even waiting for the project to launch any of their products, destroying the price of the coin. Now these same people will come and create a thread here that ICOs are dead. In fact crypto is not dead, we are actually killing it.

Is your main idea to support the project or just to make profit from the bonuses and go your way?
What amazes me is that, if those investors should dump what they have, at that initial stage, there will not be any profit coming to them, rather it would be loss.
Yet they still prefer to dump the price of the coin.
This is mostly done to manipulate the market, so that they can turn the whole thing to a trading event. This at will definitely cause a breakdown for the project if care is not taken.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 01, 2019, 04:19:57 PM
The cryptocuurency's price on the market is still going down... i just wanna know what you guys are thinking of the future of the crypto, would it be great again? or would be at the bottom of the market? or would it be forgotten? tell me what you think and why
A lot of people are expecting to see cryptocurrency on he rise again. This in my opinion will definitely come, which is why you do not need to give up.
The market presently is yet to recover, so giving up is like missing out of the opportunity by the time there is a positive change.
Some people who have given up are just waiting for it to recover again, before they can think of coming back, which might not be that easy.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from the fullest dip on: February 01, 2019, 04:19:36 PM
So many projects and coins are just based on hype. Sometimes even i investors and traders look around for hype and which they themselves know is not enough to make a project have a lasting effect.
This sometimes happens, because they are looking for immediate profit, leave the project after obtaining their profit and move in to another. This has been the trend, but we need to be careful.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: January 30, 2019, 11:29:23 PM
The situation of the market is a major factor. Although, despite seeing some projects fail, because they had no investors, yet some of them are still making it to their hardcap, at least softcap.
A project that is genuine will definitely make goods sales. There are so !any things a lot of investors consider before investing in a project. If those qualities are absent, then they will not be interested.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you run a signature campaign on an external platform? on: January 30, 2019, 11:25:12 PM
You might have a good platform, but you are not yet popular and that is very important.
How much of investors do you have on your platform? That in my opinion is another criteria for a successful campaign to be run.
Although, there are other platforms running signature campaign aside bitcointalk forum, such as moonforum, but they have all got investors.
Then your mode of payment is another very important thing to consider.
