serious question: what is the most important feature of decred ? and by that I mean 10 years from now will it survive ? (don't have decred but analyzing the space constant for the right moment to get in if to get in..)

maybe we should do a hard fork to pre POS (brand new blockchain) have people transfer their coins to the wallet by an admin interface or something.. maybe, worse things have hapened
master nodes are killed on linux... left and right. but no coins are lost I also backed up everything

have trouble collecting payments from master nodes , running 60 hours straight , I am on the following wallet version (master nodes are synced and activated) , anyone experiences the same issue ? thanks!

sometimes seeing this in the logs, and wallet fails to sync in full , something up with clients mismatch POS blocking network some dude patched his custom wallet with malicious code (maybe) which could also block MN payments (happened before)

Great market moves  i think this is just a pump and dump, like it was for decred when it went again for one day to 400k satoshi lol, then again dumped hard, the same is happening here not if it is confirmed ... but I do understand your sentiment.. just the other day I rode on p@d wave... I feel though and I am not the only one that blockchain + storage = makes sense, regardless of what is now happening I do like lbry for a different reason and also makes sense long term as content management on the blockchain.. its all good ,do not get cheated by the market ... long term all solid decred dont know much about but this is sia forum, we should all be migrating, and many are, to slack..  volume increasing.. with VC (Venture Capital) if real you wont be able to sell and re-purchase unfortunately... I almost sold some % of emer to buy sia.. but as said if it is real even 100K will be a lot.. have a great one, again be careful how you think and trade |

never mind ,nothing is missing, network is operating great, spinning yet another master node as per indication (slack) things will move big time in months to come, I call it a "sleeper" in the crypto world

Looks like we missed out on the pump of XMR, NAV and SDC  everything is going up not just what you mentioned, money is back in crypto in key areas.. dnet is in key area, actually if you even don't do anything and have BTC increase in price you will do well, as core investors inc me aint selling cheers  |

926 Masternodes  it's great. On my side everything is working perfectly. Let's enjoy the high pos rewards... until they last  . +1 and zero problems on my side, believe captured 200K Dnet @ decent price close to the bottom, it is a nice feeling... later on Today need to populate and trigger more master nodes will update you all on count and if collection is happening (the base 50 master nodes d collect and receive like ~20 per node steadily with zero problem) and selling ? no I aint selling if anything I will do privte bounties for great cryptographic work in the future (once we go up price wise) |

We just burned the 60k at block 279917.
If you look at the Total Coins in the previous block, you will see that this block is 60k less. The coins were sent as a network fee which are destroyed.
But why network fee was destroyed and not given to miner? Yes, at the change to PoS, network fees are now destroyed. Though it is fractional, it does help overtime with inflation, and now we can remove coins from the total coin cap if needed... instead of having them just sit there at an address somewhere. Im not feeling this project anymore due to:
1) No updates in forever - asked in thread and IRC numerous times
2) recent massive pumps for no reason
3) ninja thread announcement followed by another huge pump (indicative of devs stocking up before ninja news then selling on said news, paints devs as untrustworthy)
current price should be 3-5k sats only
interesting valuable points... setting threshold for re-purchase as said.. major drop is now in effect should be any time now a valuable lesson here for many.. also master node technology is very similar to a coin we all know, but it also has POS and that is a tough not easy thing to do... we shall see.. its not like I have 10 BTC ready to invest it is now going down like a heavy stone in a pond ,observing... These arguments don't make any sense on a 2 million coin supply, the math & relativity clearly is off. maybe,but market obviously tells now a different story we are dropping down like a broken elevator (unfort. as said I liked even older NEO when it was php UI driven.. that was some hard work.. I dont really believe dev purposefully did this, I feel NEO was skillfully selected by a p@d group ,, based on that I am strongly considering re-purchase.. 1.5 BTC is still ~900$ and $900 a good decent $ to risk retreating as to not to spam your wonderful community... dont have any more "wisdom" just my 3 cents |

swap pump dump scam!!!! looooolllll maybe... thinking out loud here.. it is often very hard (but not impossible) to recover price points after major market manipulation like what just happened, after all thousands of BTC were at play in the last day or so.. that was some serious play we are going from +800% to -1000% in a span of one day, I always found that amazing and wanted to be part of.. but yeah recovery is part that worries me, observing... it was fun to watch, I also believe "players" bought and sold to each other to generate neccessary dynamics (common) but some legit users bought it high.. but thats the way it is. I am in similar situation with Redd coin unfortunately but that was when I was very very green like three years back.. I am much smarter savvy now |
