421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC bearish sentiment breaks 2018 levels & folks start calling the bottom again on: September 29, 2019, 03:29:14 PM
~snipp

When it was around $3000, everyone thought that the price could even fall to $1000, but soon the price was over $10000.

The analysis is our best help in predicting the price, but it is also possible to act differently from the graphs, as long as we continue to believe, we get what we want.

I think so, it is a good opportunity. Good opportunity for those who did not take risk before the last increase...

Haha yeah I remember that, when bitcoin fell to $3,000 a few months ago, everyone speculated that bitcoin would die and it would go down to $1000 again. Yesterday when bitcoin reached $13000 I'm sure people who thought bitcoin would return to $1000 would be sorry for missing a moment of cheap prices.

And now, sentiments like that are coming again, they are making a panic sell even though this is right time to buy. I do not understand the way these people think, they are too unstable to trade as if they are beginners who do not understand movement of the crypto market from time to time.

Anything can happen with BTC's price as I even expect it to fell within the $6k - $8k price range but this doesn't concerns me since I'm pretty much confident that its price will rebound very soon!

I guess no amount of FUD or negative news about BTC will influence my resolve and optimism particularly with cryptocurrencies. I suggest we should relax a little bit and devote our time to something else useful rather than spend our day regularly contemplating on its price volatility!.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A quicky analysis of BTC's RSI dip down over the past few days... on: September 29, 2019, 02:46:00 PM
I must admit that I'm not fond of interpreting technical indicators such as RSI but I can't in any way disregard it usefulness! As a matter of fact, I think I'm getting more and more accustomed to BTC's volatility that I find it quite normal to see its price rise and fell below or above $2k but will eventually rebound in due time.

I guess this must be due to the fact that I have a long term mindset in treating Bitcoin as investment which  somehow spares me of having daily worries of BTC's price volatility. Now I see that all of these experiences gave me more confidence that BTC will eventually hit a new record high regardless of what is its price today!
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: September 29, 2019, 01:04:53 PM
I hope this project price will not decrease because the bounty hunter pool is small amount and there distribution planing step by step with long time. So i don't see any bad effect for decrease price at this time.

I think I liked the idea of staggered bounty distribution as it is designed to offset any side effects of bounty hunters possibly dumping their stash but considering the merits of this project, I think it will most likely will not happen! I assume most of the bounty participants were wise enough to  hold their CUR tokens and let the platform grow in value.

I also though it would be ideal to remind them that this project has only a limited total supply of 2 million CUR tokens and let them do the math once this platform becomes widely adopted! Smiley
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Over 2000 Projects Reviewed – 640 have not published a single Code in 2019 on: September 29, 2019, 11:47:39 AM
They probably should be called abandon projects. I guess it's wrong that the coins are  traded on exchanges despite not publishing their codes for a long time. Many Cryptocurrency exchanges clearly do not have strong standards for coins they list. This is one of the reasons many substandard projects have refused to vanish.

Yes, there are plenty of coins that still don't have a single piece of code yet it is already being traded on exchanges! I think this are highly irregular and totally irresponsible on the part of exchanges on why they don't act on their part!

I am also hoping that exchanges will be implementing certain terms and conditions before a project is listed on their platform such as obliging a project to produce at least an MVP given a certain period of time, have a continuous development, and subject this projects to a delisting if certain conditions were violated or not complied with. If only exchanges could implement this kind of requirements, then we can say that they are protecting their integrity together their own end users in general and in the end, will most certainly not be labeled as a "shitcoin exchange!"
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Reasons why I am buying Bitcoin!! on: September 29, 2019, 10:15:25 AM
Aside from your list, maybe you could also include additional reasons to buy Bitcoin as stated by the CEO of Morgan Creek Capital Management - Mark Yusko, which boldly states that Bitcoin's fundamental indicators such as "network hash rate, transaction volume and a steady increase of wallets being created are in an upward trajectory" which also means that the "network value of Bitcoin is rising!"

If only I had the means to buy more BTC, then I should take any of these reasons listed as a means to justify why I should hold more BTC as much as I can and I'm sure others share the same sentiment with me too.

426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 29, 2019, 08:33:10 AM
I've been around long enough to remember the earliest shitcoins, Solidcoin which was one of the earliest Alts and for a short time LTC's only real competitor Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38453.0

I also cpu mined tenebrix for a while Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=45667.0

Needless to say both of them ended up in the crypto graveyard

I think there is a scary possibility that the DEVS or core team of this dead projects may have left their own respective projects only to create or start another shit project! Thinking of it, I was wondering how come they've left their previous projects considering that the crypto industry is becoming more vibrant and had a bigger capitalization especially in 2017? Did they leave for "greener pastures"? I think the answer is more likely they did but not for good!

I was even amazed when I saw one popular developer that created a popular shitcoin way back in 2014 which is now struggling with his new project that don't even have an army of supporters! Maybe the community had perceived him as having credibility issues which resulted in the project almost being ignored by the community!
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -CONTRADICTION- ? on: September 29, 2019, 05:54:16 AM
We all want cryptocurrencies to gain value. But we do not use them as a currency in our daily lives. I think this is a big contradiction.

This I think is not a contradiction but I think its a dilemma as its worth pointing out that even if you have a huge amount of crypto but doesn't know a shop in your own locale who accepts it, then its worthless as a buying medium. I think merchant adoption must coexist with an increasing number of end users to balance the equation on crypto adoption! If only I could find a local convenience store in our place that accepts cryptocurrencies then I would gladly use it to buy goods, etc.

Here are some prerequisites which I think must occur first before a mass adoption scenario of cryptocurrencies could take place. Some of them are listed below as follows:

1. People needs to be more acquainted about cryptocurrencies.
2. They should have the means to acquire it either doing work or offering services.
3. Merchants must embrace cryptocurrencies and accept them as a means of payment.
4. Governments and other institutions supports the use of cryptocurrencies.
428  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Small-time tech shops accept Bitcoin as payment on: September 29, 2019, 04:12:28 AM

429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Over 2000 Projects Reviewed – 640 have not published a single Code in 2019 on: September 29, 2019, 02:19:11 AM

That article is like saying water is wet. Umm... yeah, everyone kind of knew that most shitcoins aren't actively updating their code or adding new features. And yobit is one of the worst exchanges out there, or at let's say it's where you go to find shitcoins.

I don't mean this post to disparage the information you provided. Just saying that anyone involved with crypto should have well been aware of this ages ago.

The article may seem to discuss old news but it could very well served as guide for people who are new into cryptocurrency and will led them to take necessary precautions to avoid incurring financial losses if they had unwittingly invested on an inactive project!

I must say that examining code activity of over 2000 projects is a tedious task and I must commend CoinCodeCap for its very informative site - https://coincodecap.com/ as this enables us to effectively sort out projects to be avoided and could guide us in assessing projects based on their own Github activity.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 29, 2019, 12:30:21 AM
Yes, shitcoin has been around from the start and this has been made more possible with the open-source paradigm! Bitcoin being open sourced did spurred  innovation and had evolved to become more robust due to community development efforts but at the same time had encouraged those who had malicious intent to fork it and  create their own shitcoins and all the while have not done significant improvements on it while indulging only for monetary gains!

my advice is just be sure of what you are investing on, make sure they have what it takes

I almost certainly prefer to support projects which have unique innovations and has been developed from scratch. This way, I know I'm betting my investments on projects that has been a result of several years of researches than put it on a project which has copy pasted code that has a very high probability of becoming a shitcoin itself!

431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance dex chain on: September 28, 2019, 11:18:23 PM
Binance launches their dex trading platform is no longer a news but i keep wondering how to move to binance chain from my current token.
Google search and binance website does not offer much information about this.

If you are holding ERC20 tokens then good for you! Binance together with Fantom had developed a bridge that will enable you to swap tokens from ERC20 and BEP2 standards and vice versa! This means its now possible to swap tokens from Ethereum blockchain to Binance chain / Binance DEX with less effort provided that your ERC20 token is already listed on Binance chain.

With regards to sending ERC20 tokens to Binance CEX (centralized exchange), I've experienced sending my ERC20 tokens using my Binance ETH deposit address and Binance automatically converted it to BEP2 tokens in their platform.

I have checked these links but my question is, will such erc20 token be listed on binance dex for trading or there shall be other process to get the token to be listed ?

There are some kind of approval mechanisms before a token becomes listed on Binance Dex and also, there are certain requirements that needs to be followed. By the way, we would be glad if you could please tell us specifically what is the name of your token?

432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BBC Air Documentary on Notorious ‘Crypto Queen’ Scammer on: September 28, 2019, 10:41:36 PM
So weird that the media won't get within 100 feet of pointing out that Wright is an obvious scammer, but seems to have no problem doing so for onecoin.  Onecoin is obviously a scam, but not more obviously than wright...

"You've hit the nail on the head"! There are two theories that came to my head with regards to this, one is that either the mainstream media such as BBC lacks information about CSW's blatantly faked adventures or they did deliberately cast a news blackout on that topic fearing for legal reprisal from Faketoshi who often uses the "teeth of the law" to intimidate  anyone who challenges his fraudulent actions.

But with regards to this documentary, I think its a good move for them to be able to convey important information  about crypto being used to commit fraud thus serves as a warning and eye opener for those who are about to enter the world of crypto so as not to be victimize from this type of scams. I just hope that this documentary will present cryptocurrency fairly and objectively to give the viewers a balanced point of view about it.

This OP needs to be reported for running a scam. You are still bumping your shitty thread with your own newbie accounts. Honestly people who fall for this shit should be shot.
You deserve to lose if you invet here. There is fuck all to show here. Just a  bs story some pictures and many promises. If this is what it takes to make money with an ICO then mayb e I should run some too.

Hell come play my game it will be the best game in the world with the best graphics and best story line etc etc blah blah blag (insert further bullshit)

Now give me your money my game is surely coming out soon.

We are not bumping any thread, and we don't own any newbie accounts, also we are not having an ICO, ICO stands for an Initial Coin Offering, I doubt that you even read through the thread and checked what we are selling or read anything about our company before posting this reply.

But as for me, I have held an ICO in the past and it went pretty well, no scam reports so far since I started in the industry in 2010.

And the bump and spam on this thread are still ongoing! Unfortunately, I found it quite ironic that the OP didn't even bother to report these newbie spams to moderators because if  this is a legit project as what they are claiming, having a thread spammed by a lot of newbies will only give the project a bad image! So I guess its up to the OP to resolve this soon or end up being misinterpreted as a shady project by the community.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is China ahead of US now in terms of digital adaptation? on: September 28, 2019, 06:13:09 PM
If indeed the Chinese Government were developing their own native cryptocurrency, then I can say that China is really ahead in terms of crypto adoption!  Though Il think its still experimental, I guess there is a brighter side to it, because once it will be made ready and publicly utilized and has been proven to have intangible benefits to a nations economy, then I could not see any reason why the U.S. and other countries will not follow suit!

In a sense, China's enormous growth over these last two decades were the result of its own Government and people embracing technological innovations that they think will help them achieve greater prosperity and its not surprising that they have joined the crypto / blockchain technology bandwagon! I guess this is just a way from them to  preserve their economy and loosen the grip and influence of the mighty U.S. Dollar. Imho.

436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 28, 2019, 02:21:50 PM
I don't think it will be good to impose regulations on Bitcoin because it will hinder its growth and it doesn't even guarantee any safeguards to the industry! But thinking of it, I'm not worried since I believe that no Government will ever get to implement full regulation because it is designed to be decentralized in nature and no one have ultimate control over it!

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are still an emerging industry and I've never heard an issue yet of its influence affecting negatively on a particular country's economy hence there is no need to have it regulated. I also find it quite ironic when some Governments are acting like they could really regulate Bitcoin
while speculating that it will bring supposedly ill effects to its economy when all the while they had not done enough to regulate certain sectors of its economy like the power, banking and financial sectors, all of which could wreck havoc once left unchecked!
437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Successful bounty projects on: September 18, 2019, 04:59:58 AM
Sessia
Harmony
MB8coin
Vidy Coin
MESG
Those are some bounties that are fortunate for me, but harmony at the moment is still not distributed so just waiting for the results and selling them.

You could include other projects that supposed to be profitable to you but I beg to disagree with Vidy coin since they only paid
bounty hunters with a small fraction only of what was actually earned through stakes! What campaign did you join? Can you give
us any proof that Vidy coin did fulfill its promise to the bounty participants?
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shower thought. If nations/states/governments are accumulating Bitcoin, then on: September 18, 2019, 01:07:17 AM
I bet some countries are experimenting on how best to use these cryptos to circumvent detection on their illicit transactions.
Take the case of Iran,  they are under heavy economic sanctions by the U.N. and I think they could find it attractive to use
crypto to channel their funds to make different transactions thereby minimizing the effects of these sanctions.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad Devs and CEOs on: September 17, 2019, 11:51:48 PM
Open and free market, and that will be the consequences.

That's why they have the nerved to show their faces in public and they don't care if they're going to scam us because we are very gullible and easily fall for their trick. That's why iCO are uncontrollable as this point and maybe projects even though very legit doesn't have the success they are hoping because the model is tainted already.

So if there is a KYC for bounty hunters, projects themselves should also do that so that we can file a case against them if they run with our money. Although majority didn't give a s**t, they are all after the money and will hide on some countries.

Though I must admit it must be hard to implement this kind of action due to geopolitical considerations I think there must be
some kind of an oversight body or a central authority to take a look into these kinds of frauds and prosecute those who are
responsible if found guilty of any wrong doing as I think that this is an important issue to be addressed as the crypto-industry
continues to grow.
440  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Successful bounty projects on: September 17, 2019, 10:58:01 PM
The following lists consist of successful or profitable bounties since Mid 2018 after bears strike the market till now and guess what? i missed out, the reason why i decide to do this is to give hunters the motivation that good projects are still around, they only comes in small pack, here we go
1. Vidy coin
2. MB8coin
3. Sessia
4. Harmony
5. Monarch token
6. Titan coin
7. Miracle tele for those who dumps straight up
8. Xcrypt

I know this is not the full list, you are welcome to add more, i did missed out without joining any of these bounties but i am motivated to keep on going and never stop because my time will come, onlu those who give up easily won't end up with a success story

These are all successful bounties that rewarded their participants. I am impressed. However, Miracle tele should be removed since the project owner scammed his team and investors. Hunters who sold before the scam can count themselves very lucky as I know some hunters will hodl and remain loyal to the project. Mb8coin is another fantastic one that rewarded hunters although it took an entire year for them to fulfill.

Maybe you could include VidyCoin and reconsider those list and update it as per feedback from the community. Might as well
include them on a new topic "Successful bounty projects that ripped their participants and the community" so that the
community may know.
