We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Corruption by greedy people but not by government, yes. It is evident because there are many investment sites that promises high profit, high return of invested btc in just a short period of time. It is like 10% interest on your btc everyday. That percentage is really big that is why many will invest. After awhile or just before a month, it will turn out to be a scam. |

As for me, i believe bitcoin is a good way to invest. With its rising popularity which, by the way, attracts investors, its value is constantly rising and promising at the same time. Although, there are times when its value goes way down due to certain fluctuations and factors, yet it eventually goes up so there is no need to worry. Bitcoin is perfect

I think YES. If someone who teach others about bitcoin and how to used it, some of us will not suffer the poverty. But if you don't work for it and leave it behind,poverty is always exist. And don't blame the government because laziness is kill others. Although the government should help citizen who are poor, still we should not be dependent to them. We have to do ways to earn income. My greatest fear of bitcoin. If the bitcoin disappear down the value of it. Mostly the hacker of the wallet. If you rate me the security of the wallet, I think will 50-50. the biggest fear is your self you know why.

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
It is just they are too afraid to go outside their shells. They are afraid to trt soemthing new. We cannot blame them but if you will see that there are many people who invest in bitcoin and that many earned. Then we can say that it is true, bitcoin is real and not a scam. |

It's a great idea, because people who have no knowledge in bitcoins will benefit from it. But bitcoins is already popular it's already advertised in social media and pick up by mainstream media. And anyone who have access to the internet eventually they will know about bitcoins.
Given the fact that bitcoin is already advertised on social media, then the need for it to be advertised on television is zero or nothing. Unfortunately, many counties have banned and will be banning the use of crypto currency.
So far, these countries have banned crypto:
Vietnam
Bolivia
Ecuador
Kyrgyzstan
Bangladesh
Nepal
These countries however do not have a major influence on crypto as they are third world countries and most investors/influences come from the West/China.
Do you guys think as it becomes more of a reality that crypto is the future of currencies, more countries will ban the use due to fear of losing control? Do you think as it becomes the normal form of currency, these countries will lift the ban?

They might be protecting what they should protect. They fear that it might affect their economy something like that. I live in a third world country and yet our government does not ban bitcoin. It is legal, though I did not heard or see any announcement about legalizing it here in our country. It is legal because if we will buy bitcoin we can do it on banks and remittance centers. |

Bitcoin is legitimate and legal. Money is legal when it is used for legal transactions and it becomes illegal when it is used in anything illegal - BTC is just like your everyday paper money.
The money and bitcoin itself are legal. Just like what you said, the transaction or crime is the illegal. Bitcoin is very legit. Let's say bitcoin would still be around for another 20 years, the way bitcoin works is it rewards early adopters more as it is a deflationary currency so one should expect that prices would only be going up(unless some major event unfolds). Say for example, you have invested now at this price, surely you have obtain a nice amount of profit by then.
Just do not waste a time of opportunity to invest in bitcoin. Do not wait when its price will goes down and then buy to invest because no one knew when its price wiill goes up or down. I am not really 100% confident that Bitcoin lasts 100 years. Especially now that more and more projects with solid technology are in the market. What I am confident is that Bitcoin will most probably continue to rise in few years.

It is because its price is really high now and it will continue to goes up in case. I will not anymore use my bitcoin to buy stuffs and have my phone be loaded using bitcoins. It is too precious for me to spend it on things which I can use my money to buy for those things. Just like you said, holding bitcoin is almost the same as having an investment. Bitcoin even when just placed in our wallets gives us income which if we put on bank will not gives us the same interest. So I will be glad to hold my bitcoins and wait for the time when it reached my target price. |
