I will confirm that there is incorrect information regarding me and the administration, in this thread. I will happily discuss myself when certain people begin to respect my person.

That would be true but I am not a liar. I simply did that with a different account.
This current alias has no credentials and should be treated as such but please know I have collateral on this account: A 10 BTC donation.
Oh well if I can confirm that account did in fact pay back a 100BTC loan then I'll retract my statement. What account was that loan made under? Please understand that by not responding it will be seen as an act of bad faith and an attempt to scam the community. I refuse to confirm anything with you. I will confirm any information by my own will. You can say whatever you wish.

Scam
move along
Agreed. Even if he lost, he wouldn't be able to pay. Instead of providing proof to him, he needs to be providing proof to the community that he has a dime. Considering he's jobless and lives off his parents, that's not likely. "Hey mom, can I have $10,000 to pay some dudes on a forum for me having a big mouth and refusing to stop being self-important?" These gentlemen's claims are unfounded. I'll happily provide any identification necessary to forge a trusting agreement. Additionally, I've taken a 100+ BTC loan from Theymos to short-sell with. Profit was made and his loan was returned in full plus interest. I asked Theymos and he denied ever loaning anyone named "Boss" a 100BTC loan. That would be true but I am not a liar. I simply did that with a different account. This current alias has no credentials and should be treated as such but please know I have collateral on this account: A 10 BTC donation.

good stuff how are we going to determine the "stolen coins" have been returned? Moreso, why would anyone trust a jobless tard like Atlas to pay for them when he loses since he's wriggled out of every single bet he has lost to date on these forums. He's just a self-important. Ignore and move on. False. I've never lost a bet.

good stuff how are we going to determine the "stolen coins" have been returned? Press release from Bitcoinica itself with verifiable bitcoin address chain.

I'm selling shares on the stolen coins of Bitcoinica. If the majority of the stolen coins are recovered from the perpetrator and are given back to Bitcoinica, I will buy the shares back from you for 1 Bitcoin a piece. As for otherwise, they will be worth nothing to me indefinitely.
I'm selling 100 shares for .1 Bitcoins a piece. Anybody interested?

They aren't getting their coins back.
You know this how exactly? The police rarely recover actual stolen property. What makes you think it can be recovered from a tor-using, computer specialist? Not only that, the money is going to be so tightly laundered that you'll have another thousand rings to jump through. No agency, no investigation team is capable of untying this even with financial incentive slightly lower than the funds that can be recovered. The only way there will be a recovery is if the perp is a complete retard and left his information tied to the crime. He's going to be too smart for that.

They aren't getting their coins back.
Don't expect the government to look out for you and don't expect the community to refund you when you fail to keep up your security; especially when it comes to large amounts of Bitcoins. This money can't be printed out of thin air and the police aren't going to do hard-core online investigations for free. All businesses are on their own in the Bitcoin realm. We might as well get use to it.
Security can get to the point to where any security breach results in minimal loss. Offline wallets with manual approval seems to be the course to go. Bayesian transaction approval could also be made -- for a significant cost.
You will get your hand held when we get a security standards agency and when its respective software is released. Until then, this isn't PeeWee's Playhouse.
two words: bitcoin police https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Policeone of these days someone will get caught ... Would you put money on that?

The coins are lost. People will just need to learn from this.

Another 4 years of Bernanke and the possibility of Obama signing Schumer's bills. Obviously this means nothing good for alternative currencies.
