421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 16, 2017, 11:55:47 PM
There's a new coin called semux. They are doing an airdrop at the moment, and besides that it looks to be a pretty solid project although the project is just getting started. Great people and a active dev in the chat. I would recommend you give it a look. Cheers!

Seems that is good to watch. Do they have a website and road map ready? I want to read some info so that I can personally evaluate and do some research. You can send PM for the links. thanks
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer? BTC or ETH? on: October 12, 2017, 10:27:37 PM
if you already have btc, that is great. but if you are asking which one to invest right now, then my answer would be eth.

Same opinion as both coins or cryptos doing good. Only Eth on a slump and was also affected  by this BTC Pump I think. But after the Eth upgrade to Metropolis, i think it will recover. Its matter of time for Eth  to rise.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: October 12, 2017, 10:18:53 PM
Well,  bitcoin have stand the test of time;  wheather a boycott or jp morgan opinion. Btc is here to stay.  Still the best choice in the long run for me

Of course. bitcoin will continue to be the number choice especially for long term hold. But regarding the Alt, I would choose NEO, OMG,MGO, HMQ, XEM  for the moment. I am holding a small amount of this coin so far. Also I am hunting for bargain if anyone can suggest and it seems ok.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELITE] Ethereum Lite | FIRST ETHEREUM CURRENCY | NO ICO | AIRDROP CLOSED on: October 12, 2017, 07:16:14 AM
what does it mean if you have red highlight on spreadsheet?

It means that you were disqualified. There should be another AD for disqualified places..

Its possible that you are disqualified but I think if you have valid reasons, you can send an PM to devs. This is a good project hope that this community received their share. Good luck to all of us here. Smiley
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Own Private Portfolio on: October 12, 2017, 07:04:57 AM
Zcash is good and its anonymity features are top notch, which makes it a good pick for people who values anonymity over other sketchy features of a coin. Btc and ltc, together with ETH are the 3 solid coins to hold for the next years as they still have a big room for improvement, and a big room for potential profit. Others I knew nothing about but it's your call. Neo is being hyped by big Chinese names, so it's best to get in early before it gets pumped like hell.

I agree with and its very promising one that can compete with giants in this field. I am seeing Zcash to beat other cryptos next year onward like NEO did.  Those in @OP's portfolio looks stable coins and its good for long term hold. Much better if he post a screenshot of his Blockfolio. :
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next level on: October 12, 2017, 06:56:47 AM
Yes it will reach high price before fork and will dip a bit and will consolidate its price. There are many instances where Bitcoin dips down most and consolidate its price with a very high speed. It was dipped to $2800 in the last month and is now $4700 and in this week it will cross 5000$ second time.

I think its easy to reach the $5000, with more good news coming is within reach before the year ends in my opinion .Supposedly they say that  its $10,000 before the years ends, but its not easy at this moment or months onward. 2018 maybe a good year to start for the rally.
427  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet.. on: October 12, 2017, 06:50:07 AM
I'm a happy ledger nano s and cryptosteel user. It's not that cheap, but it's worth it.

I am planning to buy this one too, though it is quite expensive but I consider it as an investment. Thanks for the feed back, I have contacted already a supplier and will be transacting soon. As an advise  to my fellow here, I think a hardware wallet is preferred especially if you want to have a long term hold of your coin.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: October 12, 2017, 06:38:45 AM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!
As for me, the safest way to keep all your bitcoins and earnings is to choose the safest purse or coin wallet. As of now, I am using a coins.ph type of wallet. It can easily be downloaded to a computer or in a cellular phone. There are also some wallets in a form of flash drives. You can easily use it through an internet connection. It is very convenient ad safe to use.

Coins.ph is an online multi wallet, and not so much safe since you are not holding your private keys. The safest as of now is having your private keys with you and put in a safest place. hacking incidents are common, so be careful in opening any suspicious links.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DIMEcoin on: October 10, 2017, 09:26:20 PM
I am happy to see that theres a an update for this coin. I bought my coins a year ago and I let it stay at Yobit. Now I am excited that there is a plan ongoing. Keep it up,I am huge fan of this project.
430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: October 09, 2017, 10:17:52 AM
Yes its fun sometimes, adding that when there a head to head trading with other player. But this is very risky because some might dump the price big  time. When there is pumping and also theirs a troll box, you'll see all is cheering.
431  Other / Meta / Re: WARNING - my original account was hacked and stolen on: October 09, 2017, 09:51:00 AM
1) make post to provide proof of your account  read this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0.

2) send pm with your proof to Administrator .

3) ask trusted member to give your account red trust

4) ask global modulator to ban your account

This suggestion is enough in order to report or recover your account. Or, did you try to send a private message to the said account holder? They might bought the said account without knowing it is a hack account. Hop have a sign message about this account of yours.

Waiting on that "important announcement". Should have been delivered right now... I hope it has something to do with them joining Bittrex.

I think we should just wait for another days, once he does not comes out I think we can post  our very concern here. As far as I can remember EthD is one of the very cuccessful free airdrop that triggered the e-something token. Hope all is well.

436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you think OmiseGO? on: October 07, 2017, 10:41:18 PM
At the moment omisego is at a very low price and the marketcap is also very low if you compare to others. But its maybe the right time to buy some and just hodl...i got a few for myself

How much is OMG's ICO price? I am not updated with this, why did say its low? Is it below ICO price? I did trade Omise Go but on short trade before and I did not make extensive research but I know this is a promising coins. Hope someone can give more info here.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When the bounty campaign is weak, but the ICO is successful on: October 07, 2017, 08:13:09 PM
I think its because lots of investor is still looking on project's whitepaper and other assets than on how it is advertise. Even an ICO did have a very poor advertising and marketing strategy if people who have read their whitepaper got interest they would still succeed. Just my opinion.

Of course white paper is important, because here they know what are the projects to be done and how it works.Though it is good to have bounty campaign also so that to reach other potential investor in the form of different medium.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: October 05, 2017, 11:34:52 PM
Risk is present in most of all investment and bitcoin is not spare from it. Bitcoin is a virtual currency, so its the same as money, but when you consider it as an asset and hoard it I think there are many points to consider about this. Bitcoin has big community and much affected by speculation. Any negative news about, affects the price.  Its very risky, but for long term  I think the risk is minimal.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eBTC doing well!! on: October 05, 2017, 10:56:47 PM
620% hike in last 24 hours. I think it's risky to invest at this moment as now many of token holder who invested in ICO will like to exit by booking a handsome profit. You can buy at dips and do not invest all your amt. at once coz it could too risky. Try to average your price by buying at different price level.

Maybe, but as long the devs present a good road map, this project is deemed to success. Besides the name is catchy, Bitcoin on Ethereum chain /contract. I am closely monitoring on this project.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2017, 06:18:17 AM
I plan on amassing some more bitcoin and when the price doubles (might take a while) I will sell half (thus maintaining my initial investment) then convert the other half to fiat and use it to invest in the local market/start a business/build a home whichever seems like the right idea at the time.

I panned also to invest in local market, and some maybe for a retirement farm  far from the city. Sustain a natural living off grid and enhancing solar and pursue natural farming. Also  other half of bitcoin will stay on portfolio and I will hold it for a long time until I needed.
