I guess one thing that I learned from gambling that somehow affected me positively is "limitations." I've had an experience before that made me really miserable, I was very mad because I lost almost half of my pocket money (school) because of gambling. I was convinced that the next bet would mine so I asked my friend to lend me some money so that I could have my money back. But, it ended the bad way, I lost all my money. So, from that moment I learned to control and limit my self. I don't want that to happen to me again.
Good thing you were able to recover yourself. I also experienced being miserable and almost lost everything in gambling. Good thing I have a lot of friends and family who help me out recovering myself. Now I'm back but I've learned my mistakes so that's why I have my limitations and not too being greedy. |

I have never withdrawn the entire winning till date, because every time I win something used to withdraw half the amount and the rest is left. I'm not that greedy in my view, but periodically the small amount that I save from each winning help me play when my entire balance goes bankrupt.
That's a good strategy mate. Not withdrawing the whole winning just to continue to play again. For as long as you can control yourself and not to much greedy then you'll be fine. As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).
I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.

I usually play with my profit and save my capital. Playing gamble is really need of luck, not all are always winning the game. So better save your money and not all to play it.

Gambling should really be looked upon as a form of entertainment only, not as a revenue source. Most people mistake the gambling as an income opportunity, when in fact it is the other way round. Unless of course you're really skilled in mathematics and some of the required gambling skills. Then it could be a different story. Yes I agree.. I also treat gambling as for fun and entertainment I don't really much care if I win or lose just to set a low amount of money to it so that I always control myself not to get tempted and play for more.
