4242  Other / Archival / Re: Donations Towards A Car on: August 19, 2011, 04:24:11 AM
It's a nice idea.  My questions, however, are simple.

1.)  How do we know you don't have a car?
2.)  How do we know you can't afford a car?
3.)  How do we know you aren't just doing this as a way to earn extra income?  (e.g. a few donations here and there give me the equivalent of x extra m/hash! sweet!)
4.)  How do we know you're not just lazy and aren't working?
5.)  What does the Bitcoin community get in return besides good karma for giving you a handout?
6.)  There are a bunch of others but these provide the gist of what I'm getting at.

I'd like to take a trip around the world using only BTC, so could someone donate to me too?  I'd like to pay off my student loans (which currently sum to over $70,000) with BTC, and I'd like the community to help me out.

Not that I don't mind giving.  I think it's great that people are willing to donate, whether it's for the Bitcoin cause or simply because when others ask, they are givers.

I wish you the best of luck, but why do you DESERVE it?

Generally, how many points per task completed?  Any credit card or sensitive information required? (including last name)

Price up or down tomorrow ?

My guess is the same or up a little bit.  The only thing supporting my guess is that it looks as if the 11.1 barrier is currently being tested a little bit, and so far we haven't really seen anything out of the 11 +/- .1 range in the last 36 hours (went down to 10.8 a bunch, but that barrier seems strong).
4245  Economy / Services / Re: Selling jingles/soundbytes .wav or .mp3 on: August 19, 2011, 03:41:52 AM
What is output going to be? Can you do 24/96 WAVE or FLAC at minimum?

I can do .wav at up to 96,000 kHZ and 32-bit float depth, mp3 at 320 kbit Bit-rate/44,100 kHZ/32-bit float, as well as WMA, AICF, or AIFF files

Let me get this straight.  $120 for 4 tablets of viagra?  $30 per hard on?  Are you kidding me?  I saw someone on another BTC site offering the same thing for .5 BTC for all 4 lol

PROTIP and free bump:

If the Starcraft disc code hasn't been attached to a Battle.net account in the last couple years, it also entitles you to the Brood War expansion pack (since BW didn't come with a cd key, they can't tell if you owned it or not, so everyone gets it). You just download the "cracked" copies straight from Battle.net website once you put your key in.

If it is attached to a Battle.net account, then the game itself is worthless. Sad

Honestly I have no idea, but I doubt it.  I played online for maybe 3 months when the game first game out.  I haven't touched it in like 10 years.

On a side note, since when did the revised sol ring become worth anything?  Rarityguide.com lists them at like $13 apiece and I have like 20 of them.

EDH has become very popular, and that's a great card for it.

I'll offer 6 btc for a tundra (paid upon receipt), may as well do my blue/white deck right Wink

-Garrett

BTW, if you're interested in any revised, I have quite a few rares/uncommons.  You shoulda seen my blue deck...with 4 mahomati jinns, 2 clones, 2 dances of many, and a vesuvan doppleganger.  Flying 5/6's comin atcha alllll day  Grin

An extra tip.  Make sure your email account password is very strong!

If your email is required to manually change passwords or for password recovery, it is essential that you email password is very strong.  There's no point in having very strong password on exchanges if these strong passwords can be accessed via a hacked email account.

+1 kookiekrak

Sent BTC immediately and was exceptionally kind.  Would gladly do business again!

An extra +1 for being kind enough to help me secure my first sell.  Thanks!

If it's unlimited, I might consider 27 BTC for the lotus.
4256  Economy / Goods / Re: [MTG] Selling cards, mainly dual lands. on: August 18, 2011, 07:17:19 PM
jesus, I don't know ha!

How much are they in dollars usually?

It depends.  For unlimited (looking at yours, it's unlimited right?) I was seeing between $900-$1500 on ebay but with 0 bids.  If it's collectors edition, I was seeing like $250 ish.  This was at a 5 minute glance.
