I don't get how people can fall for a PM sent to '(undisclosed recipients)'

The email notification doesn't say that on it.
Oh, that sucks

I know from someone who has seen IPs that the forum has an alt account problem.
I know from someone who has a white coat that you have a paranoia problem.

**UNITE BEHIND LITECOIN** (Why?)
[... lots of crap deleted ...]

Why? Because you have lots of them. That's why.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear enough: I meant the people who have the 'Bitcoin expert' badge under their name. OP edited
Look under etotheipi's name: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88208.msg2122701#msg2122701

Those are three possible conditions though

Assuming coin cloners continue to use 'coin' at the end of their coins and that we use 3 letters to designate them, there are only 676 symbol possibilities
At the current rate coin cloners will be doomed in less than a year

Wow...  Sad
Small chance of recovery

Use your computer as little as possible
Download this to an USB drive
Report successful launch
Device -> Open disk device -> educated guess (ask here for help)
When the device is open: Edit -> Find
Search as TEXT, Options: only Match Case checked, Search: ckey! (which are five characters: 4 letters and '!') (Assuming your wallet is encrypted, if not encrypted, post it)
Wait (might take a few hours) and hope

If nothing is found, you'll have to contact a higher level recovery professional
If something is found, it's still far from being easy: just report here
4318  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: [BOUNTY: 2.0 BTC] [CLAIMED] Message Signing in Armory on: May 12, 2013, 09:41:37 PM
Thanks
I think it's easily tweakable. If anybody (etotheipi or any reader in the future) got a problem, just PM me or complain here!
4319  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 32Bit timestamps in the block headers? on: May 12, 2013, 09:37:03 PM
Why would Satoshi (group or indiv.) use 32 bit timestamps which would overflow before the last coin was designed to be minted?

The fix is simple, just up it to 64bit unsigned integers to represent the date.

This problem will rise in 2100+ A.D. only.
Which is 34 years before the reward is due to be zero. This is going to be a problem eventually, so why not fix it now?
Because everybody now complains about the blockchain being too big
Not exactly the right time to increase the size of headers (I know it won't be noticeable but you know how that works...)
4320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Era Will Begin on: May 12, 2013, 09:34:11 PM
New Era:
  • Scrypt
  • Last part of name is 'coin'
  • Software based on bitcoin-qt
  • 2 images in the software will still be Litecoin's ones
  • 20% of occurences of the name will still be Litecoin
  • No buildable sources available at launch

TOTALLY NEW!
