Is there anyone else pushing ixcoin besides Thomas and Oldfart? If not, I'd say they are the same person. He he
Maybe nasakoti paid him to troll here for him. Maybe they just share the same "mine since 2009" early adopter wannabe fantasy. Both names point to the same direction: the genesis block. Ixcoin (if its code it's really fixed) and I0coin are the opposite of what all the people that complained against the early adopter advantage in bitcoin wanted. But it seems that some people's complains weren't about justice but about the impossibility of go back in time and mine solo with satoshi. That's ixcoin's improvement over bitcoin: they can become early adopters. Yeah, maybe trolling for the "dev" is part of the "bounties" he promised

Namecoin already has its own forum but it's not the problem here
Ixcoin has its own forum but Thomas/Oldminer keeps posting here I0coin doesn't have any forum

Then it transfers them as a whole 25 BTC to an address you specify (owned by a wallet).
Maybe I don't understand what you meant but why talking about one wallet? The address can be in 100000, 1 or even 0 wallet

MD5? I don't download binaries but I would prefer the devs use SHA* instead

I0coin: Last Price: 0.00161731 Ixcoin: Last Price: 0.00145000
Page me with this in 2 weeks from now... it will just be I0coin: Last Price: 0.00461731 Ixcoin: Last Price: 0.00045000 why cant you seem to understand that the only reason why i0coin exists isnt to make your life miserable, but do to concerns with how you released ixcoin. Those concerns arent going to magically disappear because you have a more complete website, or because you attack i0coins every change you get. If you want your project to succeed you are going to have to alleviate some of those concerns and quit pretending the community is crazy for having them or that they dont exist at all.. or that they are some sort of joke. You're wrong, putting "I0coin was launched as a joke" - jackjack (forum member) in his sig will surely make I0coin collapse

yeah someone is annoyed. not sure why, he can learn his lesson and launch another coin. He can still get wealthy without stealing the first 500k coins. and it wasnt exactly a joke, you could say it was started on a whim but not a joke, unless someone wants to point out the punch line. I have an idea! If anybody has an hour or two to spare, he can create: - I0coin (= Ixcoin with 0 pregenerated blocks) - IBcoin (= Ixcoin with all pregenerated coins intended for bounties). Bounty block would be the first one, it would generate 200k coins or whatever Ixcoin is offering (with all bounty coins public), after that generation would mimic Ixcoin.
Either way, I think people would jump from Ixcoin in notime (or realize the absurd idea of Ixcoin) sounds more like a warning than a joke... but i am going to stick with whim. I didn't even have time to edit my post, it was already quoted 3 times + in his sig... I added the quote to the OP

Is it really worth it? You are mad, aren't you? Here's the joke: I have an idea! Also, why they never answered to this post ?

I never found the answer when I was looking for it It's the Hash (ie sha256^2) of the transaction in little-endian For example, the Hash of 010000000130395068e54c83864c17e0d04467956e67229066c60b3e4e3500dfae8524a6e400000 0008c493046022100e564071d42b5e7ce069b5d864c3f151e2121b5216cd77599e82c83f4b21e43 7a022100fd83c972dbe5fdbdb11c8457c7d42504c5f8fc7c93aad16468681a35b66a6713014104e 2f81f840e109d8cfad3b31040b4d674c36de4e28d3566061f6bb119f0c210d6b6c29cf23b21443b b25044eae5647a6ebc1e4a8b66e93c851a20f3d73f50580fffffffff02e679bdb7030000001976a 9149e8607eb634e1819413a51685423fb2a2144062888ac40420f00000000001976a914ec752339 9bfff0e1e1be93377a3b0253fe9d4f1a88ac00000000 is f3bb27c3733258fb49f377fc189a839e9eafc4cbdde88aacf1ffa1d2bcebc95b, so its hash is 5bc9ebbcd2a1fff1ac8ae8ddcbc4af9e9e839a18fc77f349fb583273c327bbf3

Well well..what have we here LOL...
So ioucoins has its own scam thread now?
Oh, it's still very far from reaching the ammount of pages your dear "Ixcoin is a SCAM" thread has... and probably never will reach it. Disclaimer: My above statement doesn't mean that I0coin is less of a scam than Ixcoin is. Less of a scam than ixcoin? Obviously, simply for the reason of having no anonymous founder sitting on 500k coins. Not a scam? Well... not a *intentional* scam. Imo the whole thing will end up as a pyramid scheme with "investors" holding a bunch of worthless coins simply because it's a alternate blockchain bringing nothing of real value to the table. So... why did I mine it? Well... why not? I also threw > 10Ghps at testnet for a day just for fun. I just put a buy order in for ioucoin: 0.00001511 66000.00000000 Sorry..its all its worth...LOL I0coin: Last Price: 0.00161731 Ixcoin: Last Price: 0.00145000

Tell him to download pywallet and delete that transaction from his wallet

New command-line option: Recover your deleted keyssudo ./pywallet.py --recover --recov_size 30.1Gio --recov_device /dev/sda3 --recov_outputdir /home/jackjack/recovered_wallets This will read the 30.1 first Gio of /dev/sda3 to find some deleted private keys (sudo can be needed to read devices) recov_size accepts ko, kio, Mo, Mio, Go, Gio, To and Tio units (edit: I just think about that, some of you may usually use kB/MB/..., I'll fix that, later ). No space allowed between the number and the unit recov_device is obviously the device to read recov_outputdir is the directory where pywallet will write the recovered wallet (named "recovered_wallet_TIMESTAMP.dat") It's only a command-line option because if one deletes his wallet and tries to recover it, running a browser is not exactly is good idea... It takes about 25 minutes to read 100 Go File: pywallet.py v1.1-27 Sig: 304402202553256cbeb2020f9f3b4a970bd34f2fa0588311525acf95c4eb56725c1c08730220374dd3658f8da7d2ec2f25a8216a561766f0f471304a7988bd300e8333bc9c50 Pubkey: 04307867a30e7b8673b92f9c62c664dbd821a3be44e8d41fc65261296f4d6e71fa430a0d7f54e3aca296357900fe096c2bc7333d60e57ffe73bc2f49b581c17750
I tried running it with Python 2.4. It kinda works. The biggest issue I ran into, the json module does not appear to exist in Python 2.4. According to the docs on python.org, json would appear to have been introduced in 2.6.
I'll see if I can use something else instead of json, thanks for the feedback
