441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be wary of phishing emails (likely related to BitMex data leak) on: January 10, 2020, 02:04:48 PM
Woaah.. the scam action is just started. Of course people should becareful of any mails they receive. At least, read the sender and the details, would be better to ask somewhere in the forum before doing any action with the mail to confirm it.

I would suggest to close the leaked email and never use same email and main email to sign up in a website.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is the situation with Iran affecting the price on: January 09, 2020, 04:48:02 PM
With that panic we didn't realize that bitcoin will grow again and need some more time, I always control what I experience now when buying bitcoin in such a situation, I will not be dependent on news that is aware there about my US and Iran conflicts will see the movement of bitcoin at any time to ensure an increase.

Just as The Pharmacist said above that you can forget the news and hold them for long time (like 4 years as how the halving works) and sell them when it is in the highest level. It is the easiet way to make profit but still, rumour and news (like what happened to Iran and USA) are useful for those who do trade in short-term basis to make daily, weekly or monthly profits.
443  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to Protect Your Crypto Wallet if Someone Searches Your Phone? on: January 09, 2020, 12:56:40 PM
People prefer to use mobile wallet because they want to get easy access to their asset, but it's too risky I agree with you that hardware wallet is the best option, they might use a mobile wallet but they have to keep their private key in the safest place, not in their smartphone storage, if they still keep that sensitive information on their phone once they lose their phone then they will lose all those coins.

It is okay to use mobile wallet, or anything as I also do that in order to trade or spending purpose. But storing your private keys or any of your sensitive data on smartphone, computer or any devices that is possible to get hacked, could be stupid thing.

Anyway, I just read the article and it is pretty helpful for those who need to hide their data, still don't store your private keys on your smartphone!
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is the situation with Iran affecting the price on: January 09, 2020, 12:03:15 PM
But as soon as i sold, the price bounced and now it is at 8060.
So i am not sure my reaction was right.
What do you think?

Many people suggest not to add feeling or emotion in your decision making. I see this as panic reaction when you realize it was getting dip again and resulted you a loss.

Could not be wrong but just not totally right.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever tried contract trading? on: January 09, 2020, 11:37:30 AM
I have checked the site and did search on google.

Well, this is just another trading site that offers everyone a trading simulation or a demo. Nothing's actually great since the exchange isn't really popular. Also, I found bitget.com and it looks the same. Now, I have a question are they really the same or the one OP posted is a duplicated one?

Umm..
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 09, 2020, 09:45:22 AM
Why do we have to panic in this situation? Just look at the current price does that mean we really have to panic? Bitcoin dominance is just around the corner and it will never fail us. It is us only who failed because we think too much and that's the reason why emotions should have not get involve in our trading activity.

I do believe that the 'panic' OP talking is about how we will trade with regular way ( manually buy and sell while lots people will be using bots to execute trades). It is not panic about selling bitcoin or any coins in the market.

Panic like when everyone is riding motorcycle but you just using a bicycle in terms of trading so you don't have enough energy and speed to trade.
447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever tried contract trading? on: January 08, 2020, 04:09:28 PM
Maybe you can try the simulation trading first,I don't think it's that complicated. You can experience simulation contract trading without any cost.
I found there was a exchange has launched ETH / SUSDT, EOS / SUSDT, SBTC / USD and BTC / SUSDT simulation trading pairs.

-snip-

I bet you didn't find that site, you made that.

Well, haven't check the site at the moment but in my opinion a trading simulation is good to understand how it works. But just don't take it serious, we often take profit easily in simulation but in real trading it is not that easy.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 08, 2020, 03:44:53 PM
-snip-

First about bot manipulating price, does this happen in centralized market or also decentralized market?

Bots are preprogrammed to create predictions, always rely on your specific decision. Making a good moves is dependent on how you initiate a smarter trades, when market starts to increase a potential gains. Doing it physically is much better than virtual strategies.

There are also bots that you can use to execute your trades, not only to predict price movements. But they aren't perfect, they are just faster but not smarter than human.
449  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to Protect Your Crypto Wallet if Someone Searches Your Phone? on: January 08, 2020, 02:25:45 PM
We all keep a lot of personal information on our phones and obviously don’t want to share our correspondence, cryptocurrency wallets, or contacts to become a part of the public domain. Nonetheless, in some cases, authorities can ask you to provide full access to your device.

Is this even legal? Can you refuse to give your phone to law enforcement? How can you protect your cryptocurrency wallet?

https://forklog.media/how-to-protect-your-crypto-wallet-during-phone-search/

Wait.. do you guys store your private keys online or offline in your device like smartphone or computer? Damn, you shouldn't.

Use a device that is used only to store your private keys, it is private keys and it needs private place. So use hardware wallet or something that is only for it.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 08, 2020, 01:39:57 PM
Whats Ur take on that?

War situation USA Trump Economy and crypto Currrency?

Do u Think that current situation have any impact on crypto?

I heard a rumour that world economy will face a hard time for once again in 2020 but it is just rumour, I haven't searched about this too but in case it happens, of course there is an impact to crypto. If the world economy become weak, people would look for a place to save their assets. So, they might think crypto is a good option for them. It will push the crypto price up, could be high or just stay low based on the situation itself.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: What is safe asset? And If USA dollar weakining what is Next Fiat? on: January 08, 2020, 01:21:39 PM
USA dollar weakining coz of war
So what is Next currency to use?
Its a euro?

And what is the safe asset?
I Think its not Gold and its not Property either
I doubt that USA will just end like that because of the on going conflict with other country, and with the possibility of having a a war. But if dollar starts to get weak, it can be either Euro or yuan I think? If I'm not mistaken they're next to usd.

As for the safest asset, I'd go for gold. Not crypto. Crypto isn't that stable unlike gold who will never lose its value.

I do doubt that, so does OP.

No one is saying USD will end just like this. I agree with Yuan, but any fiat used to do internasional transaction could be stronger than other common fiats. So, if USD is weakening, then Yuan could the safer asset.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will Bitcoin cost this year? on: January 07, 2020, 06:00:31 PM
Last year, the price of bitcoin had dropped drastically. If the price of Bitcoin rises to 20,000 by the end of this year, the price of Altcoin will rise as well. In countries where crypto currencies are banned, the price of bitcoin may still be very high if the currency goes down this year.

Banned or not banned, the price of Bitcoin will remain the same (not affected) cause it doesn't depend on specific country. Well, honestly $20K is a very high price for this year and I don't think Bitcoin will reach that price by the end of this year, but surely higher than current price.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 07, 2020, 05:21:28 PM
Unfortunately the boost only happened in Iran and didn't affect world price. I've seen similar boosts in some other countries but have not become this big (not many people talking about that). So, I am sure this isn't a kind of big news.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coins massive development and USA dollar on: January 07, 2020, 02:18:34 PM
You don't need to go any further than ZeroHedge. That's the ultimate source of all such bullshit

Bullshit or not bullshit, doesn't matter. Media always does good and bad things as long as they can have huge traffics and everything about money.

At least, with the actual source we can have same basis to discuss about.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 07, 2020, 07:02:44 AM
Honestly, all the explanation said by the OP i dont think this is an act of scamming ignorant individuals because the scenario was pretty cool and even the most smart person in the wirld may fall for it before understanding the whole scenarios.
@OP, it good you share this situation but i think the forum still need you to provide the screen shot of you conversation with the scammer for proper evidence.

Unm.. do you think random people who asks you to deposit $100 to give you easy money is a genuine person?

Imagine you are the gamble site mod, you want to have 50-50 by making someone win the gamble in your site without any first deposit from him ($100 deposit is because the account get frozen). If you have this kind of chance, would you ask random people in the world to help you out? Or would you ask your real life friend or even do it yourself?

Think!
456  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coins massive development and USA dollar on: January 07, 2020, 06:53:08 AM
The topic is about stable coins!

I knew, sorry if it looks like off topic for you but any stable coins are built under decentralized economy which is always related to Bitcoin, so to understand the fruit you should know the quality of the root.

Stable coin itself however could be a threat to fiat not only USD, especially to those corrupt government because everything is traceable, but doesn't always mean it against fiat.

Topic was about if the rumours as they Want to destroy USA dollar... Then why they work so much with develope the stablecoins USA dollar coins

Also, It would be better if you could add the rumour source here and it is only you that knew the rumour then we don't need to discuss cause we don't have the same issue to discuss.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: January 06, 2020, 01:40:36 PM
You can say that again! Bitcoin is a tool that is changing the world right now, and we can agree that we need changes. We know that we just need others to realize that too. People are not just bored, many are oppressed by this ruthless orders we have in many parts of the world. Bitcoin, together with other decentralized projects, can make changes for the better tomorrow.

Bitcoin itself can bring positive changes but it also affects more scam to come, I am sad to hear many people from filipino got scammed by the word of Bitcoin and decentralized things. I would not force anyone to realize the true opportunity of Bitcoin as for me it is an option, personal decision to choose whether to follow Bitcoin or leave it behind. I am trying to be more realistic as nothing is totally positive or negative.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coins massive development and USA dollar on: January 06, 2020, 12:57:23 PM
If they Plan to kill and drop the USA dollar then why they work with so many USA dollar based stable coins like usdc thether and pax....

How does it make any sense?
They say that world Elite Plan is to destroy the USA dollar but the Same time all the big guys working on USA dollar token based stable coins?

Is that means the collapse and crash about USA dollar is hoax?

Basically,  Bitcoin is invented not to destroy anything. For me it is more about an option to be your own bank, control your own money and be totally free. Regarding the creation of stable coins through partnership with government, IMO it is a business and the pressure of law. I do believe most of people here love to talk about investment, money, profit from Bitcoin and decentralized products, so they are. They think can make money easier by working with government, under the government's law, and it is their choice.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 06, 2020, 12:10:10 PM
-Snip-

I got the similar messages few times and usually from unpopular betting sites with poor UI. Well, I always enjoy how they are trying to scam but I knew they obviously just want to scam so I don't follow their orders. They can do it themselves, if it's not a scam. Why bother to message unknown people, that's nonsense!
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 06, 2020, 11:23:11 AM
Not about government asking him to pay taxes or whatever, it is more likely people will start losing their hope for Bitcoin as a complete decentralized things. Some people might follow whatever Satoshi says, the other might think that Satoshi are working with government to take any opportunity. Well, Of that happens, I do believe lots of people will only rely Satoshi words which make them lose the meaning of decentralization.
