Yes use other service for more profitability and less risks
What risks are you talking about? GAW accepts credit card payments and the prices are one of the lowest on the market, so where's the risk?

This!

People have already hit ROI. Risk is pretty minimal, just do your calculations.

Personally I'd go cloud, but if that's not your thing go for it!
443  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Hashlets vs. Fury on: September 10, 2014, 11:14:49 AM
The at home stuff was fun, but now it's just far too risky. Plus all the time I spent tinkering and checking, it adds up!

I've got a few hashlets and it's nice knowing there isn't a fire risk in my home, yet you still get the nice feeling when you login and check profits Smiley

Could someone more knowledgeable than myself please specify what exactly the difference is between "obsolete proof" and "upgrades over time."  The "upgrades over time" characteristic seems to be the selling point for the primes, whereas the other hashlets are obsolete proof.  I figure them to be synonymous but GAW explicitly makes a difference between the two.

I don't think this is the answer but does it mean that the primes will increase their hashing power, or operate at lower cost, whereas the other hashlets that do not upgrade over time have their costs remain static?

I'm just trying to find more clarity as to what warrants the increased investment in the primes.

ANY future Hashlet that gets released the Prime will algo get the features. Talk of scrypt-n soon (CEO hinted), and maybe things like x11, x13 in the future. Getting the jump on algo's will be big payouts!

I've got a good few Primes and I didn't pay the cheap price.
445  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: GAW Hashlet Genesis thoughts? on: September 09, 2014, 08:47:00 PM
the prime included an automatic migration if any new or better gear for mining are for sale. Yup even if it 49.95, 3 days ago it was 39.95 and its still benefical.

i don't get how paying $49.95 per prime scrypt mh/s is worth it ?  bitmain is coming out with the L1, which is $5 or less per mh/s soon. these primes will fall by the wayside IMO.  if i recall correctly, Bitmain and Avalon had somewhat of a price war and they lowered the cost of Gh/s back then...so i expect Bitmain to do the same to scrypt mh/s.  any thoughts ?

Because the hardware upgrades over time including algo changes like scrypt-n, x11, x13 etc.

I'm a sceptical guy but I've been really happy with GAW so far. The GUI and excellent and the payouts have been better than expected. I'll be sceptical until I hit ROI, but as people have already I'm thinking it's all gravy!
447  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining with old outdated equipment? on: September 09, 2014, 08:38:10 PM
Brah do NOT solo mine! If you have free electricity join a pool if not then just forget mining yourself and join the cloud!

Can you explain the sportsbook to me? I know you've mentioned it before but I don't quite understand why it has underperformed so much. Casino looks great on the other hand.

49.95$? wow i paid 15.99$  Roll Eyes

It turned into a Prime, so apparently there's gonna be loads of features including scrypt-n!

too funny, i was just going to post this topic and ask for input and members thoughts about this product.  i guess i can tell you guys how it goes, i just bought a few to try.  i know GAW hashlets are rumored to be a pyramid---hopefully i can be near the top as this is a new product/service   =)

Yeah I've thought the same, at least we're at the start lol. On the other hand, it's a big company, bought BTC.com for 1 mil etc.

Hey,

Excuse my ignorance, but what is GAW exactly?  Is it part of Zeus?

I may be looking to invest some of the small amount of crypto I'm still holding into mining.

I was checking out the ZeusHash that is launching in a couple of weeks $16 per MH seems pretty reasonable compared to HW that's actually shipping right now.  I'm definitely considering it.

Can anyone offer any advice please?  Good or bad investment?  Anyone have any suggestions at all?

Cheers!  Smiley

Hey man,

No they are separate companies. ZeusHash is a good deal, but the benefit of the Hashlet is it doesn't end after 1 year, and you'll be able to buy/sell the hashlets on the exchange they are launching really soon.

If you fancy a Hashlet over Zeus, feel free you use my sig Smiley

After doing calculations the Genesis Hashlet is not worth the money, I doubt it will hit ROI.

On the other hand, the Hashlet Prime and Zen are great buys.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PROOF that GAWMiners Hashlet Is Not A Miner on: September 06, 2014, 05:19:19 PM
The Genesis isn't worth the investment at all, but the Primes and the Zen solo's are!
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: GAWMiner Hashlet Discussion Thread on: September 06, 2014, 05:18:17 PM
I've asked around, and I think Morguk is right. The Hashlet Prime is the unquestionable Top of the Foodchain and will receive ALL the features other hashlets have. So, the Prime will be able to do what the Genesis can do, but not vice versa.
But since pricing is the same, buy Hashlet Prime! And once that simple fact turns to commion knowledge.... will the Genesis go down in price to keep sales going? Or will the Prime go up in price? Or.... there's a third option...

That's right man, the Primes are the way to go.

Another big thing is scrypt-n (and maybe x11) is heading to the Primes, as hinted by the CEO. As you said either the Genesis Hashlets with decrease in price or the primes will increase. I think the former..

Maidak helped with an escrow. I'm impressed with how smooth it went. He's really profesional and experienced. I'd trust him again and again.

Helped with escrow with alani123 above. Very smooth and professional transaction

There isn't an option close to $200,000 is there?
