You're quite correct, Altcoins are now a way of life and even though bitcoin is the premier cryptocurrency, it is not the only one and would never be the only one, bitcoin introduced the technology so. It's only logical that there would be other Altcoins that would improve on the technology and they ain't going nowhere.

There are still some bitcoin paid bounty campaigns but they are few and far between these days, the whole crypto space seems to be in a form of limbo, waiting for the next big thing to happen and bleeding quite heavily in the meantime, if you had joined some good campaigns in your absence, you would have been made especially with a Legendary rank.

|
I thought I was the only one who noticed this, I have seen $300 allocated to a bounty campaign and numerous people were rushing to enroll in it, I was just thinking that those set of bounty hunters are part of the problem we have in this space, people are not respecting themselves at all and that is why they are treated anyhow by campaign managers.

I could write a while epistle about the price movement of ethereum since December 2017, I am a huge fan of ethereum and I have been holding ethereum since the price was around $600 up till now, I don't really care about the price movement though, to me it's a love thing, I love the ethereum blockchain and I just hold the coin because I believe in it.

It's a topic heading like this that has led so many to rekt, it could be a bit misleading especially to the noobs, we have seen many innovations in the recent past on projects that didn't boost their price at all, these days news doesn't seem to move token prices in the way it used to do it in the past six we need to be careful.

It seems what price drives every comparison right now and not technology, when I saw the topic of this thread, I was wondering why BNB would be compared be compared as the next bitcoin, like is BNB the next blockchain that would be able to handle only 7 transactions per second? Anyways even in price and market position, it's not po edible for BNB to overtake Bitcoin.

One of the most valuable lessons I learnt about crypto is to DYOR and if you are deoending centralised ICO rating websites door your research, then you are not fit to invest. It is advisable to check the team, check their level of seriousness and decide for yourself if you want to invest in the project.
|
|
|
It's not about being experienced or non-experienced, for sure there is cash to be made and many has made good money from bounties but it's now different because one thing that makes bounties thrive is ICO and IEO and presently those things are presently suffering and this means that bounty campaigns are suffering too.

Imagine if you had looked at this post and decided to invest in Miracle Tele because if this post, you would have been going straight to the village, the difference between staking coins and mining is that most of the mining coins are old and trusted crypto while we cannot say the same for most of the staking coins in existence.

Is there a POS fix planned? Anyone received any 1yr stake?

Dice is not quite operational yet, I think. Would any result appear as soon as the block is processed anyway?

So a negative rate wasn't enought, what a surprise. Not long ago the ECB told us that QE wasn't necessary yet. Can we get a link to the story? And no, this will not immediately have any effect on the price of BTC. The ECB start QE? The last I checked the ECB, along with most other large central banks has been employing QE for years.
Not the ECB itself, though some national central banks like in the UK have done so. A related news story: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-08-24/draghi-pushes-ecb-closer-to-qe-as-deflation-risks-rise.html
