I'm very positive towards the future of bitcoin and its usability as a means of payment, but I don't think bitcoin will ever replace the dollar. Anyway, a prediction of something connected to cryptocurrencies in a 15 years time, can be considered like gambling. No one really knows what can happen in so many years...

In almost all countries in the world owning bitcoin it's not a crime. Obviously, it's not considered a legal tender but possession is not prohibited by law.

I haven't sold a single coin until now, but I bought some of them at high prices (not ATH, but anyway quite high). In some of them, I'm quite in loss, but I'm going to keep them until the next bull run because I know I've invested only in good ones.

For sure, in this huge market crash I have learned one important thing: everyone in December was thinking the market would have reached every week new All-Time High...  but we all know things have turned out quite differently. It's better to always keep some dollars, so to have the opportunity to buy in dips and when the market becomes bearish (nothing can grow forever!), if you're satisfied with the price, better to sell and take profits!

I think that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general could prove to be an intelligent solution to help the unbanked people in the third world and give financial inclusion. In the end, to use and store cryptos (not in huge amount maybe) a smartphone is enough.

E' sempre meglio mettere le proprie criptovalute in un portafoglio personale fuori dagli exchange, così sei più tranquillo. C'è poi anche da dire che Coinbase è probabilmente uno degli Exchange più sicuri che ci siano (in primis non è mai stato hackerato) e a titolo di esempio per i cittadini americani offre addirittura un'assicurazione del valore di 250.000 dollari sulle cripto depositate presso di loro (non credo valga per gli europei).

Comunque, visto che il tuo è un investimento di lungo periodo e nella vita non si sa mai, è buona regola avere sempre la proprietà delle proprie chiavi private: scaricati electrum e metti lì i bitcoin fino a quando non vorrai rivenderli o usarli...

I think no one can really answer this question. All I can say is that, in my opinion, sooner or later this year we will see another bull run and I think by the end of the year we will see new All-Time High for bitcoin. But when this new bull run is going to start, it's very hard to predict unfortunately. If someone can predict it with certainty, he can become rich with margin trading 

Well, in the long run, the decrease of volatility in the market will benefit mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, but at the moment, if you are an experienced trader, volatility allows you to better take advantage of market opportunities.

What I've read is that the bitcoin blockchain itself cannot be hacked with current technology. To attack the network you should manage to do a 50% + 1 attack and is a fact that, until now in this 9 years of bitcoin existence, no one managed to attack the network. Someone says that when quantum computers will be a reality there could be a risk, but probably by that time also bitcoin blockchain will be different from how it is now.

No country will never accept bitcoin as a legal currency... it can be accepted and "tolerate" as a means of exchange, like it has been regulated already in some countries (Japan for example).

si si, lo so, l'ho visto l'altro giorno, ma non viene utilizzato perchè manca magari l'ok dalle alte sfere per l'idea di usarlo 

In my opinion? Yes. When we will reach the dip of this long-lasting bear market, we will see another bull run, from Bitcoin first, but then also from altcoins in general. keep your faith  

Concordo, infatti come ho già scritto in qualche post passato su questo thread, senza il lavoro dei merit Source, come dici tu, il sistema muore su sè stesso, perchè il merit è un bene sempre più "scarso", visto che per ogni 2 merit ricevuti, ne ricevo solo 1 da dare a mia volta, e quindi non c'è più circolazione dei merit "nell'economia" del forum e il sistema si avvita su sè stesso.

Il lavoro dei merit Source non è quindi solo importante, ma direi fondamentale per permettere la buona riuscita di questo sistema e permettere la circolazione dei merit stessi (e in questo modo fargli svolgere il compito per cui sono stati creati, cioè migliorare la qualità dei post e quindi del forum nel suo complesso).

Ho letto gli interventi precedenti e, a mio parere, è interessante l'idea di avere un thread dedicato alla segnalazione dei post meritevoli di merit, come è stato proposto (se le regole del forum permettono questa iniziativa).

Questo fondamentalmente per 2 ragione a mio modo di vedere:

1. in primis, aiutare i merit source a "stanare" i post meritevoli. Dubito che loro, come chiunque altro, abbano il tempo materiale di stare a spulciare tutti i post del forum. Quindi, in questo, farsi aiutare nelle segnalazioni sarebbe un aiuto non indifferente al loro compito;

2. si dà la possibilità di essere visibili anche a post in sezioni meno lette e meno bazzicate del forum e magari anche a far ottenere merit a newbies, se scrivono post interessanti.

Alla fine non è che 3-4 merit source italiane possono da sole sobbarcarsi tutto il compito, ed essere aiutate dalla community nel suo complesso, perchè no?

Grazie per la risposta   In effetti, al momento è solo un concetto che può essere interpretato... Tra l'altro, faccio l'esempio di un'altra problematica: Partecipo ad una bounty e ottengo per esempio l'equivalente dei loro Token al momento in cui mi pagano del valore di 200 usd. Credo nel progetto e li tengo. L'anno dopo, visto che il progetto era buono, hanno fatto un 50x. Bene ora valgono 10.000 usd. Come andrebbero regolarizzati???

Ho fatto un esempio come in mancanza di regole chiare, la situazione sia difficilmente sgarbugliabile...

It's a temporary situation this bearish market, it has happened also many times in the past. Sooner or later, I expect another bull run...
