Will people learn from history? No...
Much more to do to build the real BTC economy.
Learn not to buy in? I hope not. Just because there is more to do doesn't mean a lot hasn't already been done.

Can't we instatag this fool?

Thanks for the clarification. That's what I was assuming.

"Asks" are sells (Red) and "bids" are buys (Green). For example in this trade we can see: "trade_type":"ask"[{"date":1358416833,"price":"14.79201","amount":"0.01","price_int":"1479201","amount_int":"1000000","tid":"1358416833532259","price_currency":"USD","item":"BTC","trade_type":"ask","primary":"Y","properties":"market"}, https://mtgox.com/api/1/BTCUSD/trades?rawThey represent filled orders. If the highest buy order on the book is 1 btc for $17 and the second highest 2 btc for 16.9, then someone who either places a market order to sell (or limit order less than $17) for .5 btc would be counted as a red sell for .5 btc. If someone placed a limit order to sell 3 btc for $16.9 or less it would be counted as a 1 btc sell and a 2 btc sell. If they're filled orders, then none of them will be limit, though, or I'm not understanding you. Placing a limit order won't result in a filled order until a market order comes along and takes it. If your "all trades" graph represents both limit and market trades, shouldn't the buy-sell amounts be identical?
|
|
|
So the red and green lines denote market orders only, right? The limit orders are not shown?

Damn I'll take 1 BTC for 30 NMC then lol
If you think that's a good deal, I'll give you 50NMC for 1BTC.

Bitinstant is pretty much a joke, in my opinion. No one wants to have to physically deposit cash at CVS. 4% fee on top. And Dwolla purposefully makes it difficult for bitcoiners.
Oh really? So all the people who did exactly what "no one wants" had guns to their heads? Plenty of people absolutely want a cash deposit option and CVS has -a lot- of locations. You're trollin...poorly.

You should give this up - it would cost you more than you'd make. Just buy BTC if you'd like to invest

Priced in USD now. I'll give you a quote in BTC and a unique payment address on request. Thanks.

way too much scrutiny over the picture, considering it was released simply to appease the trolls for a FEW DAYS UNTIL THE FIRST UNITS ARRIVE, at which point the customers can take as many minutes or hours as they like to tear down the unit and photograph every component and release videos of it hashing, etc, etc
cool down till then, because if a photo is worth 1000 words, we hit that point a few pages back
Hopefully it wasn't released to appease the trolls. Avalon predicted the reaction exactly.

i think they all did.
Not me. Panic holding since $6. riding the bull to its fullest extent is one of the hardest things to do in markets. This has been a great ride for me. Even during the downturns.

Honestly, how stupid do you think we are?
Why don't you tell me... How stupid are you? You insult my offer on this board and then you ask me for a loan through PM?!?! That's pretty stupid. I'm a serious lender with a serious offer. My offer stands for anyone who wants to take out a secured loan with a good interest rate. Ignore him, he's an outed scammer. He thinks accusing other people will somehow draw attention away from that.

Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Jr Day in the US, so I dunno if I can ship orders in the morning. Will update when I find out for sure. If not, all pending orders to be shipped Tuesday morning.
USPS is closed. UPS is open.

Dont jump to conclusions so fast. If you were to read what I stated earlier I work for the charity. Meaning I am the guy who transfers the BTC to Euros for the charity. Really, dont be stupid.
TBH, that sounds pretty stupid, you shouldn't reuse that address. What if someone donated money to that address and then furrycoat claimed it was him repaying some of his loan? I'm fairly sure he'd know anything furrycoat was going to say before he said it.
|
|
|
And you use your personal address, which you had loan money sent to, for accepting the charity donations?

Just woke up checked my address 1B4pDiGiHkTAZvGsjWintcY3by6AvVSVLu
Is this your address? http://blockchain.info/address/1B4pDiGiHkTAZvGsjWintcY3by6AvVSVLuYou state, "I recently bought 300 Bitcoins for investment purposes" yet you need to borrow 2.6 to buy something that costs 5.10? Hello, I recently bought 300 Bitcoins for investment purposes,
How many Bitcoins do you have invested?
That was an obvious joke, 300 bitcoins = 5000$. Honestly, I dont have 300 bitcoins. Yes, that is my address. How is that shocking? I was returned 3.3 Bitcoins I need 2.6 more to make my purchase, I find nothing shocking about that. He was probably asking because it's the same address being used to scam people for charity on this webpage: Thanks for reminding me to screencap scammer evidence in your helpful suggestions to Blazr. http://bitcoinstocharity.org/

Jeez, sorry to see this happen. But really, who in their right mind would ever loan 300 BTC to a good with 250 posts?
Just FYI - this tact is not going to help you scam anyone.
