441  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin halving, whales manipulations and its 2020 price valuation on: March 12, 2020, 01:41:01 PM
Some people will see this dump as devastating because of their investment others will see it as blessing in disguise, if you look at the present condition of the market you would be discourage but if you already understand how the market work, then this is an opportunity to buy good coin at cheap price, because after every dump, the price definitely comes back up, and going by what the above post is saying about btc statistics, then hopefully we can see a price spike in the upcoming months.
No need to panic sell.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARMAGEDDON On the Markets on: March 12, 2020, 01:31:10 PM
It is like a hurricane in the market right now, just within few minutes lots of dump has occurred, seriously, i also do not believe this sudden massive dump has anything to do with the virus, even if it will be affected, it should be minimal and not this huge,
maybe probably all the while that we thought the bear market was over, it was never really over, the dump is too much for it to be as a result of corona virus, it is like 2018 all over again. well the good side is, some good coin are really cheap now, we have discount in all top coin in cmc.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: March 11, 2020, 10:58:26 AM
It is very obvious, investors value crypto more (especially the one they put their hard earned money on), no investor would want a dump on a crypto he/she invested on, but hunters on the other hand don't really gives a shit about what happen to the crypto they are given through their campaign, they are only interested to dump at any price and move on, the reason why most project don't pay hunters on time Undecided
investing money on a crypto and getting it for free, there is certainly a big difference.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temtum to be the first crypto to be used as a national currency ! on: March 11, 2020, 10:47:30 AM
I can understand the skeptism but this is 100% legit CEO has posted the LOI on the Telegram group!

https://t.me/Temtumofficial/13682

The skepticism is coming from the people who have no clue about this project, don't follow the official group chat for update and those who just want to make a post to increase their post count for their campaigns, otherwise, no sane person will question something that has been made public and currently undergoing serious work,
only those who are interested in the truth will follow that link and read what is written, people are more concerned about price, the real use case of any project is hardly their concern,
TemTum is fighting to have a use case, i hope they can achieve it with hard work and perseverance.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PETER SCHIFF WAS RIGHT: Again... If Bitcoin does not go up on good news.... on: March 11, 2020, 08:19:24 AM
Just had to laugh when I saw the title.
So you mean Peter Schiff, the guy who has been warning people about Bitcoin for years but has no idea what the difference between a password, a pin and a seed phrase is, was right?  Roll Eyes
https://twitter.com/PeterSchiff/status/1220135541330542592

Best to ignore him ...

Peter Schiff is the perfect counter-indicator. He has been shitting on Bitcoin since 2013 and he has been wrong every single time.
^ This

Lol! he knows so much about btc and yet he can't tell the different between password, pin and don't have a copy of his phrase,.... brilliant (and this is a Hard Fact Grin) honestly, i can't stop laughing at the tweet, what exactly does a guy who can't tell the different between password and pin knows about btc? and if he detest btc so much why did he own some at all?

@HardFacts i think you need to re-evaluate your believe in this clueless human Wink

Gold has a history of more than several thousand years.

Bitcoin is 11 years old.

Gold is being trading for $1k-$1.8k in the last 10 years. Bitcoin went from nothing to $8k and still very tiny compared to gold's market cap.

Peter Schiff is just a take no risks guy who wants an easy win. Easy wins don't pay well.

He was saying the same shit when bitcoin was $1k. He'll keep telling them when bitcoin is $100k. Ignore and move on.

Back in 2014-2016 I was too listening to these morons and it costed me lots of money.

totally agreed with the above, btc is very new compare to the number of years gold has been in existence, and btc has achieve quite alot within the 11 years of existence more than gold i would say, i think it is very unfair to btc when such comparison and condescending languages will always come up from people like PETER SCHIFF or misguided follower like HardFacts Roll Eyes
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak on: March 10, 2020, 08:54:05 AM
Maybe you are right. This dump is not because of Coronavirus, because all these days we have been saying that the bitcoin price has increased because of Coronavirus then what happened suddenly people are changing their opinions and blaming Coronavirus? I think recent dump in the crypto market is manipulation by some big whales so they can fill their bags before the halving! Personally, I think this price dump is for a limited time, after a couple of days, the crypto market will go up surly!

Because it is clear that people don't really know the cause of the dump, if it is corona virus related or just an already design time for the market to dump, in my opinion, just like the op, i think the market was already at the stage of correction then the case of corona virus happens, this is an observation on the cryptocurrency aspect,
and as for the stock market, i think the virus may play a role in the dump, since this kind of news does affect the economy of a country it is most likely the virus is causing the stock market to witness this melt down.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temtum to be the first crypto to be used as a national currency ! on: March 10, 2020, 07:58:52 AM
This is a game changer !

This is the only real world case i have seen in crypto and will bring thousands of people that are new into crypto

TEMTUM will be top 10 when this news launches in 2 weeks

I hear they already have binance wanting to list them !

I haven't read about the binance part, obviously it must be from the grapevine  Wink although am not surprise at all if binance would want to list Tem after they realize the news about tem and Anguilla country National currency partnership,
the team are very serious about this and from the look of things, this will happen pretty sooner than expected, although official news is not yet out but a post from Richard himself in the telegram group is enough confirmation for me Cool
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 07, 2020, 12:43:33 PM
Asking big questions on telegram channel or group is very effective  Grin you will definitely get blocked if there is something shady about the project

I totally agree, this is one of the major signs to tell you if the bounty and the team are legit or not,
Sometimes they will deliberately ignore your question in other not to answer it,
If you ask a very complicated question, they will try to avoid it or block you from the group,
Another problem is many hunters don't ask questions, they will just join any bounty they come across and then cry later if they didn't get paid.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indiscipline and Greed on: March 07, 2020, 08:55:22 AM
Greed can take away everything if we are not careful or make you regret as well, although am not a trader but I do know what it means for someone to learn to exercise patient especially in crypto space,
few days back I bought some few bch as the price was down a bit, I waited few days to sell and gain some profit, now am patiently waiting if price will go down a bit so I can buy back.
Patient is key to virtually everything we do.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temtum to be the first crypto to be used as a national currency ! on: March 07, 2020, 08:42:22 AM
Just some kind of bullshit of " Wow, finally real crypto will used in daily life ", but the fact remains, it's just bla bla bla talk & nothing is gonna happen.
The world wide financial system won't let crypto replace fiat (AKA the Dollar). This is the fact people should realize by now.

Totally agree with you. Another chatter without any action. TeMtum is a rather interesting project, but I don’t even know the country in question. Does she even exist? Haha
It is strange that some country will use a third-party coin as a national currency and not its own.

Obviously you just want to make a post for your campaign is the reason you will write such crap! Just because you don't know the country don't mean it doesn't exist,
Between how would you know when you are just an ordinary hunter who is so lazy to use Google to make a search, I would expect irrelevant post like yours is deleted by the mod Roll Eyes
Too many pessimistic people in crypto is what is dragging the space down, why don't you wait and watch and see if they can pull it off instead of typing from your a**.
Baby steps.....

You must think adoption will come to you if you don't work towards achieving it,  there is always a beginning for everything,  Go figure.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TEM] temtum - Quantum secure, feeless & lightweight decentralised network. on: March 07, 2020, 08:36:10 AM
In few weeks i see price temtum is stable when price bitcoin dump or pump. Hope team make another list TEM so people can know this project

Tem price rose as high as $0.32 at some point in February,  I think the spike in price was as a result of the national currency talk........ just my thought, but I do know very soon we can see that price because Richard the CEO is really pushing hard to make sure the national currency deal is signed and sealed,
If this eventually happens, lots of people will come to recognize tem and who knows what other doors such news can open,
Fingers crossed waiting for more updates.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: March 05, 2020, 09:19:04 PM
Am not a fortune teller but with the great achievement crypto had made for the past decade, it is very impossible to think crypto will go to zero, as it is, many company are adopting the use of blockchain in their organisation, not to mention new businesses are accepting btc for transaction and lots more,
From my little observation, the only place I see crypto going is forward,  the time for turning to zero has long gone, now is time for adoption.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temtum to be the first crypto to be used as a national currency ! on: March 05, 2020, 09:06:45 PM
If temtum can actually pull this off, it will be a huge achievement on the part of this great project, I saw on their telegram about it, even though the country in question is not a very big country, still will be a ground breaking achievement to be a national currency of a country,
It will not only be good for temtum project but to all crypto in general, it will surely pave way for other countries to have a taste on how it feels to have crypto as national currency.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust wallet rocks on: March 05, 2020, 08:53:44 PM
I used to be so obsessed with coinomi wallet because it support many altcoins, maybe because I find it more better than myether and copay and later I decide to try trust wallet, I was surprised that right after importing my private key all my altcoins are ready for me including every single ERC20 tokens I own, Trust wallet get rid of adding tokens manually and in fact it shows every price of the tokens that are listed and trading, now I can't stop loving the wallet, way better than coinomi now

And I heard they are conducting an airdrop for new users who download their wallet,  I don't know how true is that, but I do know that their wallet is very nice and house a number of multiple coin, it is a very easy wallet to use especially for newbies,
And as for mew, I don't think I like this their present wallet design that much, to me it feels it is now more trickish than before.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin Legal in South Korea! on: March 05, 2020, 08:43:23 PM
This event takes place a day after the Indian crypto ban, imposed by the RBI in 2018, was lifted. This also provoked a bullish reaction from the community. Many believe the lifting of the Indian crypto ban, along with the halving that is going to take place in just over two months, may trigger a significant BTC price surge in the long term.

This are not only the good news that keep coming about crypto, there are other related news as well that I see on some telegram channel I follow about crypto, I think there will be lots of positivenes in this space this year than the previous,
Maybe soon there will be new investors coming in with all this exciting news lately,
The road to adoption is coming closer by the day, slow and steady win the race
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: March 04, 2020, 08:11:11 PM
Some people always like to learn from the hard way to fully understand the situation, no matter what is been said to them or whatever they read online is not always enough to knock some sense into their head until they got scam,
There is only little thing you can do to convince, better they learn on their own, experience is best teacher they say.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin declined 3% as the coronavirus spread in italy on: March 03, 2020, 01:36:26 PM
even if it declines by 3% it will still recover in no time, it always does, maybe the spread of virus has a way of affecting btc or not, but one thing i do know is btc has always experience rise and falls since the beginning and will continue to do so because it was not design as a stable coin,
we can not say for sure the virus is the major reason for the decline or it is just a normal market correction as usual.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: March 03, 2020, 01:25:54 PM
It depends on your needs. I cannot tell you which one is the best. There are somethings like products and services that I buy conveniently with cryptocurrencies which might be difficult and involve many steps if I want to access the same services with fiat currencies. Also, there are things that I can get easily with fiat which I cannot also use crypto for. So it all depends on what you need it for. A few days ago, I did a wire transfer from Africa to Europe using crypto and the charges were lesser than using fiat through bank.

i share your view on this aspect but for now fiat still has a wider scope of accessing and doing transaction more than crypto, so i don't think it is appropriate for now to do any comparison between the 2, no doubt it is very easy to buy with crypto than fiat in some cases especially when you have a seller that is accepting crytpo, this is one of major limitations crypto is facing for now, the issue of acceptance, once many sellers start accepting crypto things will be a lot easier.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: March 03, 2020, 01:03:56 PM
happy to see btc in this movies, the question is how has this appearance in all this movies and series been able to help btc? i usually wonder if viewers of this movies even pay attention to the mention of btc or at the end of the movie does it make them to want to use their google search engine to do more research about btc enough to want to be a part of this great community! i think this will be effective if people come into crypto because of the movie they watched where btc or atls where mentioned.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: March 02, 2020, 07:57:03 PM
Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Marco Protocol, the airdrop looked decent at the first stage, I earned 200 MAPC tokens and that was instant! But you only can withdraw from your MAP wallet when Airdrop program will end, that's good, I am okay with it. Their airdrop tweet got 8K retweet and 9K likes, so, you can understand how hype it had!
But yesterday, they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving. Can you imagine? 1 Bitcoin price is 8600 USD, people can buy by 4300$! I believe This is absolutely scam but many newbies already have fallen for that! As they saw MAPC has huge support in twitter, and they listed on CMC too.

50% off announcement: https://t.me/MAP_POB_channel/87

How are they going to offer such huge discounts, from which money will they balance the other part given away as discount to people? This is a very big scam and I hope there won't be many people who will fall victim of this cheap scam,
I am sure even satoshi won't offer such huge discount to the public,
Am sorry for the newbies who has already turn a victim to this very cheap scam.
