441  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The gauntlet has officially been thrown down by Trendon Shavers aka. pirateat40 on: August 27, 2012, 12:42:08 AM

Holy shit do you cross post like a fudster.  Why does every thread need a link to it?  If its really that important, people will find it regardless.

The fuck do you care?

This asshole is a thief and I am helping people see it, dumbass.

Yeah but facts are FUD to team ponzi.  I think a lot of people are going to be implicated in his scheme personally.  There is a shit storm that is about to blow here.

I predict anyone in that photo in vegas with pirate will have some explaining to do if it blows.

I hope/predict not.
442  Economy / Goods / Own a 3D printer? I have a project for you... on: August 27, 2012, 12:18:26 AM
I'm needing two small plastic pieces copied for me (lots of times), with very specific details. You would probably have to scan the originals. PM me for details. Paying BTC
443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: centralized post of pirate payouts or other related news to the closing. on: August 27, 2012, 12:11:11 AM
Just posted in #btcst

seems legit
444  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How could Pirate fuck your brains so well that even now many believe in him? on: August 26, 2012, 11:02:47 PM
Does anyone have anything to say to the fact that the website for Pirate's IRL business (buscog.com) was taken down the same day he closed BTCST?
445  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: centralized post of pirate payouts or other related news to the closing. on: August 26, 2012, 09:06:55 PM
Their Website went down the same time he defaulted whatever you know what I mean (the last cached copy of www.buscog.com is dated the 14th of August) http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.buscog.com/&hl=en&prmd=imvns&strip=0

Hot damn, first I've heard of this. Jesus

A master fraud.
446  Economy / Services / Re: PyraMining - Mine without a Farm and Profit! on: August 26, 2012, 06:37:20 PM

447  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [POLL] How will Pirateat40's debt repayment unfold? on: August 26, 2012, 05:27:22 PM
See you tomorrow

Things like that have been said for over a week. In my book it's over until something new happens.
448  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [POLL] How will Pirateat40's debt repayment unfold? on: August 26, 2012, 05:19:35 PM
It seems to me that it's pretty much all over.
449  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matthew, I kindly ask you to stop your trollfest or remove "Editor-in-Chief" on: August 26, 2012, 12:02:34 AM
Matthew has earned a lot of respect from me in the past few days.
450  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: August 25, 2012, 05:44:27 AM
Oh darn. I don't have enough computer parts.
451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pirate REALLY needs Bitcoins. on: August 25, 2012, 05:41:05 AM
Imagine this, he never did a damn thing, paid most of what he took in he paid back as 'interest' and has far far less than the total amount owed as his 'profit' and he'll use that to buy a hideout, he's irrelevant now.

This. (I hate "this." posts but I couldn't resist)
452  Other / Off-topic / Re: (Poll) US presidential election: who are you voting for? on: August 25, 2012, 05:21:07 AM
Bleh. A socially conservative mormon or an idealistic socialist. Tough choice, but I'd have to go with Romney. He ain't got nothin on church and state.
453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2nd generation cryptocurrency: Trustcoin on: August 25, 2012, 05:15:16 AM
Trollcoin?
454  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - Want SatoshiDICE dividends? IPO currently in progress. on: August 25, 2012, 03:28:10 AM
I cashed out my GSDPT because it is bubbling. The stock is trading at nearly 2 times the value of the S.DICE backing.
There's the 2 things I predicted:
- This is an arb opportunity
- Greater GLBSE volume --> greater demand --> higher price
 Cheesy

How does one go about arbitraging this for profit? Besides creating a passthrough?
455  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - Want SatoshiDICE dividends? IPO currently in progress. on: August 25, 2012, 02:26:36 AM

Now that's hilarious.
456  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bryan Micon's BitcoinMax Discussion Thread [orignal thread locked] on: August 24, 2012, 05:37:26 PM
Payb.tc is one of the biggest scammers around.

Why do you think so?
457  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bryan Micon's BitcoinMax Discussion Thread [orignal thread locked] on: August 24, 2012, 05:33:55 PM
Ever close a business?  You don't just make the decision, turn the lights off, lock the doors, and walk out and call it done.  There's a process you must go through to make sure everything is taken care of.

The list of 4/5 options is rather lacking in the options presented.
Ever owe some people 500,000 BTC? You don't just joke around on irc for a week, day trade on the market with a bunch of your lenders' coins, and only pay back a few small accounts.

+1 dust, great point.
458  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to Identify a Ponzi on: August 24, 2012, 05:58:33 AM
Why was this thread moved to "Service Discussion" from "Long Term Offers"?  It should be stickied in the long term offers imo, to warn potential lenders of scammy deposit offers.

I think it belongs in long term offers, stickied or not.
459  Economy / Economics / Re: Why a loss in BTC investment could cause BTC price to drop? on: August 24, 2012, 01:48:41 AM
OP could be correct, assuming BTCST was a Ponzi. The 500k coins that people thought they had would only be backed by maybe 200k-300k actual coins. So people thought they had coins, but those coins didn't actually exist. But would people race to re-buy those phantom balances? Some might, but certainly not everyone.

+1
460  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Look at a pirate, eye to eye if you dare. on: August 23, 2012, 05:03:38 AM
wait if u guys sent $5M to that guy I'm gonna be mad...

Wait

y u just now see him??

Seriously, take giga's advice. If you really need help figuring something out, send out a pm to someone instead of making a public fool of yourself. I can't tell you how many pms I've sent simply asking strangers questions to help me understand various bitcoin related subjects. You'd be surprised at just how willing people will be to help someone who is honestly searching for some information, rather than repeatedly spamming ill-informed temper-tantrums all over the place.

Most threads you post on are not as irrelevant as this one, and it does get very old for everyone here having to continue scrolling over your posts on a daily basis.

That said, I am glad you are into bitcoin. I have no personal beef with you. But sometimes I think you are 10.

And I'm sure I post stupid shit too.
