441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: April 18, 2024, 10:57:05 PM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
That's the normal thing in the market. You buy when you're able to buy and decide until how long you're going to hold it. And the same goes for selling, you sell at the rate that you're satisfied and no matter what happens next will be out of your control. You have no control over the market so if you sell and then suddenly it pumps, what's the matter with that? You'll regret because you've sold too early? That's normal because not everyone that sells are selling at the top and no one knows if it's the top already. That's why plan all of your activities whether you'll buy or sell, as long as you're able to plan that, no regrets afterwards for any decision that you do.
We all know that we can never take control whatever will happen in the market, that’s actually one of those challenges we have to face in dealing the market. So never be surprised if you see the price suddenly goes up after selling, or goes low after buying, because that is highly inevitable in the market. But as long as you manage your expectations, and you set plans and goals prior to decision making, whatever the outcome, at least you’re prepared for it. Regrets are normal, but you should also learn to stop regretting when you know you can’t do nothing about it and you know it won’t be helpful for you.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin’s bull run coming to an end? on: April 18, 2024, 10:32:56 AM
The price fell by 3.78% today,Current price $61748.But it’s still a price I can’t afford

You didn't know it dropped to 60+ yesterday and that means it has appreciated today. Anyway, stop bothering yourself about price fluctuations because you are going to see more of it soon when the volatility increase because of halving.

Meanwhile, you don't need to buy 1 btc, all you need is some Satoshi to hodl while expecting the price increase to make your own profit. However, price is going to improve with time after halving.
Yes, bitcoin price will be even more volatile in the coming days so expect that there will be consistent upward or downward movement of btc price, which means we will witness a roller coaster ride for bitcoin. Hence, if you are not vigilant enough to observe the price of bitcoin, still you will miss another opportunity to buy bitcoin. That is why instead of waiting for another price dips, why not buy a small portion now so you can have something to call your own. Bitcoin bull run is not coming to an end, just because of this price correction. In fact, we are just starting to witness a bullish market which will eventually lead to a real bull run in the next couple of months.
443  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀Moonbet Web3 Sportsbook & Casino | No KYC | Web3 Poker Now Available! on: April 18, 2024, 05:11:15 AM

Hello Moonbet team!

I see you don't advertise much on Bitcointalk!  Roll Eyes
I decided to refresh this thread because I have some of your signature campaign tokens and I just noticed that their price has increased x10 in last days!  Shocked
I'm very happy that you are developing and I wish you further success, because I will keep your tokens untill they grow at least x10 more!  Cool

Keep going guys!  Grin

Their last log in was October 2023, so it's been awhile and it doesn't look like they are coming back in the forum.

About the x10 increase, I'm just curious where to verify it as I was checking in CMC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/moonbet/).. please  check if that was the right token becasue I didn't see an increase as there was no exchange in the report. I'm assuming, probably it's listed in a small exchange with low volume?

It's strange that they are not active here. Anyway, they must be active somewhere Wink
Maybe they'll come back to Bitcointalk Smiley
They are listed on Bitmart. And it's true, volume is low there:

https://www.bitmart.com/trade/en-US?symbol=MBET_USDT&layout=basic

I hope they will if they really are serious about the project.

Anyway, thanks for sharing where they are listed. I click the link and was directed to the exchange but I was surprise when I see the volume that is listed as "0.00000000 USDT"... You are lucky you enjoy that x10 increase because with that volume, I can pretty much say that the price has been only manipulated, and you are lucky you gain from it.
444  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Bitcoin be a full time career for investors? on: April 17, 2024, 11:58:58 PM
So i wish to ask if Bitcoin has the potential that investors can rely on as full time career considering the inevitable uncertainty that are involve in Bitcoin investment such as difficult in price prediction and the volatile nature of the system which may pose some kind of difficulty to have adequate
Knowledge and better understanding of the system.

It's possible, but you need to understand that such may not be as immediately as you invest in bitcoin, this would have taken time to make your investment mature and earn profit before you can rely on it for more profitable income, though as you have already said, it's a volatile market, you can't expect it to be always pumping without dumping as well, learning a good marketing skills like trading is another means we can earn from it even daily, Bitcoin comes with diverse opportunities for it's investors only if and when they were able to identify one.
Yes, it’s possible but it also brings high risks as well. You can’t just invest and set a fixed amount of profits every time, that’s highly impossible for bitcoin. But due to its high volatility, people end up surprised with massive profits more than from their expectations, most especially if they are holding good amount of bitcoin at a long duration.

Also, if you invest in bitcoin with high knowledge and understanding on how the market works, with long years of experience investing or trading in the market, that will also make you eligible to gain consistent profits, to the extent of making bitcoin as a lifetime career despite of its high risks and volatility.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What people some people don't know about trading on: April 17, 2024, 11:32:16 PM
Those who earn massively in trading are those who have dedicated 1-2 years of their time to learning a particular skill to perfection.

So, how can you earn 50-1000k like them if you didn't put in the work?
Can be more of the time that they've allotted in trading. Those that are earning a lot with trading, you have to think how much capital they have. Because in trading, the lower capital you have ,the lower expected gain that you'll have as well. Sometimes, someone becomes lucky that their airdrop money becomes a lot and that also contributes to the amount of money that they earn as they need to trade that airdrop reward for actual money for their own gains.
Well, big capital attracts huge profits as well. But it also matters on how skillful and strategic a trader is, as not all big time traders end up with massive profits. So the length of time a trader dedicates in the market really matters a lot.

However, there are also traders that are actually born passionate with trading and they really are good in predicting market analysis, and with luck in addition, that will be easier for them to gain thousands of profits when trading even with lesser experience than other successful traders.

The strategy was very impressive because in just a span of less than a month there was already a huge number of increase on "unique depositors". We are really on the right casino, I mean they are doing everythig to be more competitive and be one of the biggest in the future. The trend is very positive.
Huge number? Can you specify that actual number itself? Also, they have already established the fact that their promotions are some of the best in the gambling industry, but promotions alone aren't enough to push them to the top.

Other factors such as customer service, deposit and withdrawal fees etc also matter a lot in this context. They are on the right track though as you mentioned.

You can check on the link shared https://twitter.com/SmokeyLisa_tc/status/1778492125929259191/photo/1

There was a huge increase of depositors but we can't tell how much the exact amount in total.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 16, 2024, 11:29:48 PM
It can be, I know a lot of people who just trades and does nothing else, I think that is quite important. I get that it may feel like it is not a big deal, but that is just the way it is if you ask me.

I believe that most people are looking at trading as something that has ups and downs and think that it can't be a sustained thing, but there are so many professional traders who make a lot of money from just a small amount of trading. I know people who trade just half an hour everyday, make enough money for the day, and stop. They do this everyday, and even not work during weekends as well (even though crypto trading is 7/24) and that is why I think it's quite possible for a lifetime job. Doesn't mean it's doable for everyone, but it's not impossible anyhow.
Well, you have a good point too. Trading, despite how risky and unpredictable it is, there are still the best among the rest who managed to make successful trades consistently. They are those who are professionals and have huge experiences trading in the market, and still continuously trade despite of some losses and mistakes they commit in some of their trades.

So I believe it’s actually possible for trading to become a lifetime job, but it takes a lot of mastery and expertise in the market for one to do that. But for any common man to start trading and expect quick profits, I don’t think that’s a good mindset for a beginner trader.
449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always do your own research (DYR) on: April 16, 2024, 10:17:13 PM
Something we should learn from this is that before investing in anything, it's important to do your own research and understand how it and the market works. If you introduce someone to crypto, make sure they know about the risks of volatility.

I agree with you @Hatchy, this chart which you have presented clearly shows how dumb the investors was towards crypto and he or she did not even play safe by investing just a small amount that will not stop him from starting his business. I am just happy for my self that I was so privilege to learn and understand that crypto investment is not something that any body can expect profit for a short period of time.
With crypto investment, one should only invest what they can either hold for a long time or something that they can afford to lose.
Probably this is because the investor itself wants to get rich quick and in order to satisfy his greed, he invested without learning all the basics and neglect all those disadvantages that may turn his investment into a failure. So there’s no one to blamed but definitely himself. And on part of those who advise to invest, learn to avoid taking guarantees that the investment will go on skyrocket, all investments have still uncertain outcomes so invest only at your own risk.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling or selling? on: April 15, 2024, 11:57:14 PM
I think those who bought BTC last 2 or 3 years ago I'm sure they are going to HODL than selling it right now because Blockhalving is not done yet there is a big potential that this is not the last new ATH for BTC.
There is a big change after block halving because the supply will be reduced by half. If demand remains constant and supply drops, expect a price increase.

To me, I have a small BTC that I still holding but I already exchanged a few to take a profit and to use it for trading. I hold only a small amount but I still want to add more BTC, my source should be on my trading skills I'm not an expert I am trying my luck and maybe I can multiply my Bitcoin by trading.
You can’t hold assurance to that that they will not take some time of selling their coins most especially if they think they have already gained sufficient amount of profits. Most likely, they will prefer to sell at some point and hold some of their coins. Hodling like 2-3 years is not that easy, so if they are seeing valuable profits right at the current price, I guess you can’t stop them from selling if they really want to.

However, if they have seen this already coming that bitcoin halving will leave a huge impact to the price of bitcoin, I guess they will also think a thousand times if they will sell today or just be more patient to wait for bitcoin halving before they decide to start selling their coins.
451  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: April 14, 2024, 02:39:32 PM
I think casinos should add it and make it compulsory for users to activate the 2FA, or if they don't or can't, add an email confirmation for withdrawals just to ensure it's not easily hack.
2FA is not mandatory even on centralized exchanges and don't request mandatory 2FA on gambling sites. It's an option for users and platforms can simply have a warning to their users, that 2FA will help to secure their accounts and funds better. Activate 2FA or not, it's choice of each user.

I know it's not mandatory but if there's no hassle in doing that, then I think users should understand that it's just a way to protect an account. When I started gambling, I don't know about 2FA but later one when I experience my account got compromise, I research on ways to make it more secure and I find that 2FA is the best solution. I'm not using a google 2FA, it's an AUTHY 2FA, easy to use and I could synch my pc and my smart phone easily.

Maybe some gamblers doesn't like 2FA because they don't understand it, but once they'll get educated, maybe they'll consider it.

Hopefully they'll be able to read our discussions here.
452  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲Bons Telegram| 200% cash bonus For the first deposit🔥🎲 on: April 14, 2024, 12:52:32 PM

I have completed the account in Bons.io Telegram Casino site now I want to deposit. Before depositing whether I need to kyc Bons.io Telegram Casino site please help me I don't know what to do.

You can review the OP but based on what I read, it says " NO KYC PROCEDURE", so that KYC thing you probably are worried with are not required here. I haven't explored the casino yet but since it's quite new, I find it cool since there's sports betting on this platform.

I think OP needs to clarify this as what you shared is different from what they announce in the OP, this "verification" picture is quite related to KYC, I don't know.
453  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 14, 2024, 09:55:16 AM
I will want you to have this at back of your mind that casino aren't different from any other altcoin irrespective of their categories as coin/token so we shouldn't think much thing different from other altcoin over there in the market. Again we should also remember that casino token are only or mostly being used by those who gambling in their site. I believe there are some casino that also permits bettor and gamblers to withdraw their coin after winning, meaning it's only used within their ecosystem and doesn't have real values, often time their prices struggles to increase in the market even though bull come they don't make much differences, why not you do go for other coin not necessarily mean you must invest in gambling token/coin.
It's the potential to grow in a very competitive market, a game changer, that should be something that they should offer in order for investors to be profitable. However, I see a little growth in the current status now, for a casino to make its token/coin more valuable in the future, they have to be the leaders in the market, just like Binance being the leader among exchanges. So we have to question, can the current casinos listed have that kind of potential based on their current achievement now and their road map? I mean, it's easy to create that road map, the biggest challenge is its implementation, so do we believe they can achieve it?
454  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: April 14, 2024, 08:27:27 AM
But I agree that 2FA is now the basic security standard which casino should offer to add extra protection on user account in addition to the mandatory email code every login.

Hopefully they read about this discussion and they will consider to add 2FA as soon as possible because gamblers will feel more secure about their account if there is a 2FA.
I will admit that I am not much of a fan of those kind of solutions and I am old school when securing my accounts, since I simply create a difficult password for each website I have an account in, never store it online, type it every time, avoid password managers and keep my computer secure, however if a person feels they are safer with 2FA then it could be worth for Shuffle to try to enable this feature as soon as possible, so the gamblers that are used to have this feature make use of it immediately.

Actually its really good if 2fa has been added but also its fine if you are not fan of this feature since I understand that sometimes its hassle to go over on other app just to input your security keys/number before you can sign in. And I also don't usually activate this 2fa feature on my account especially if the casino is just my alternative on or I don't put any huge balance on those platform. Usually I only set up my 2fa on exchange account but on casino well don't have any concern about since I'm not afraid and also aware about what are the methods used by hackers to steal our accounts and I'm so careful with those cases.

But for the whole its better if they add this since this is additional protection for people regarding on those hacking incidents.

I don't find it a hassle on my part, I agree with @Wapfika now that it's just a basic standard. Whether it's your main or alternative casino, it's still important to secure your funds. You may not win big now but what if you'll win in the future? You know, it's hard to predict the future of a gambler and our finances too, if we improve our finances, that would also mean it will improve our gambling activity, so security is really a must.

I think casinos should add it and make it compulsory for users to activate the 2FA, or if they don't or can't, add an email confirmation for withdrawals just to ensure it's not easily hack.

After 2 months , finally one of their departments answered to my request .
"Hello. Your request has been accepted by us for consideration.
Best Regards,
Andrii Shulhin
Privacy Policy Officer (Data Protection Officer)"

Well that is the most effective way to alarmed the team of each site , when creating a topic against them directly because they knew how much publicity they need from bitcointalk so congrats at least they are responding now.

that's right, there are a lot of websites these days that when there is a problem, they don't respond immediately even if the issue is alarming and it takes too long, they deserve to be exposed for what they are doing because without this, there will certainly be no actions or response from the customer service team. Those people know that there are many users in the forum, so they are responding so quickly now, they are afraid of losing clients.

2 months? LOL.. if it wasn't posted to a big community, they should not facilitate that and would just take your money. There's no way it will take 2 months to figure out if an account has violated the TOS or not because if there's enough evidence they can always forfeit the money. However, we are talking here about a casino which reputation is not good at least in this forum AFAIK, so it's hard to expect that a complaint will be taken care of.

Poster above is right, we should consider researching first before depositing in a casino, not because they are popular or they say they have a license is already safe enough to gamble with them, it's still important to check their reputation.

I'm just curious though, how is it related to gambling?

About your suggestion, that could be possible but there should be a careful analysis that it could go for long term.

I mean the platform is just to predict the market trends, but in reality, we only notice the trends during the bull run. So how about the during the regular season? How can this platform still stay in the business?
458  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of online poker - PokerFi on: April 13, 2024, 12:00:30 PM
People have a big choice of casino to play. But it is necessary to remember that first of all casino pays money for itself and then to players.

it doesn't work like that, casinos operate with a house edge, so they will win in the long run. Put yourself in the gambler's position and you will understand that you have more losses than your wins, in opposite, that' what the casino enjoys.

To make it simple..

Casino pays Gambler A with $200, and  casino win from Gambler B by $300, they are still at profit by $100. So if we really want to be in the profitable side all the time, we should be a casino, or invest on a casino if possible.
459  Economy / Gambling / Re: AVIATRIX | NEXT GENERATION OF CRASH-GAMES | EARLY BIRD BONUS on: April 13, 2024, 10:12:10 AM
Even on the demo game I could not win, LOL. But honestly, I like the site itself, it loads fast in my PC and my first time to see this kind of crash game, the last one I played was a space ship, this one is still fun though.

I notice that you listed all your partners, that's great as it added some legitimacy on a casino especially that some of the list are popular ( for me), and this one "Award-Winning"... you did it right, this is a great marketing stategy as long as all the information being presented are legit.

Good luck and Welcome to the forum.
460  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Dive Into Bitwinup: The Ultimate Crypto Trading Arena is Here! 🎲 on: April 13, 2024, 08:50:42 AM
I agree this will become a trader's cash cow if this is the case, if you look at the trading dashboard seldom you see that the majority of bettors won on one option, it is always a mix and this is proof that the trader or gambler or even newbie your chances is equal like all the others, a trader may have a run of good luck on his bets but next time it's the gambler type of guy's turn.
That's the reason we call this game as gambling as that falls to the luck based game. you maybe a trader, good at it, but you can never predict accurately the prices movement in 15 to 30 seconds, its just lucky that would be able to help us win on this game and there's no way they'll change the nature of game when the favor is on them. No casino would give its gamblers the edge, it's always on them as they need to be profitable in running their business.

Suggestions are good by the way, but it's up to the casino if they'll change the current system they have. If I'm on their shoes, I would not bother changing into something when the business is running smooth while the game is still fun to play.
