441  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: August 13, 2013, 08:38:57 AM
I guess people tend to sometimes forget we're not going to see a viable 'non inflationary' bitcoin model for a long time to come..

Well at least your investments have been going well. I'm sure you'll get a full ROI from your video cards soon though? It can surely not be as bad as you seem to be making it out xD.

Two multipliers have a -EV for the house & there is no provably fair.

Have seen this too often haha.

BET WITH EXTREME CAUTION
448  Economy / Gambling / Re: FairDice.biz: new bitcoin dice game; only 0,8% house edge; no minimum bets on: August 11, 2013, 02:14:33 PM
Zaih, the provably fair verification will be available soon.

You shouldn't have released until that was implemented to be honest. No one will play a game which isn't provably fair (Well.. Anyone with half a head).

Good luck!
449  Economy / Gambling / Re: FairDice.biz: new bitcoin dice game; only 0,8% house edge; no minimum bets on: August 11, 2013, 02:07:32 PM
Fail to see how this is provably fair  Shocked

This forum is broken. It's meant to be a place for people new to Bitcoin to talk & understand what the big deal is.

When I joined this forum not long ago, I remember finding some great threads in here & attempting to get involved. It was good.

Now this place is just becoming a joke. Money hungry gambling sites, alt coins etc. are just spamming giveaways and other stuff. Their giveaways are giving away literally nothing, and makes the whole Bitcoin community seem like desperate kids attempting to get their hands on minuscule amounts of BTC.

Can we please fix this?
452  Economy / Gambling / Re: What "system" is this guy using? on: August 10, 2013, 02:10:46 PM
Simply recouping losses by increasing the bet. Since it's a higher multiplier doesn't need to increase it as much. On a win he will also profit 9x his base stake instead of just 1x the base stake in a simple martingale

And you'd only need to 1.2x your bet on a 5x multiplier martingale.

And it's impossible to 'beat' gambling with a 'system' Tongue Well.. mathematically at least.

460  Economy / Gambling / Re: >>Insanity Dice<< Legit 60x2 [Great Specs] [Trusted Hosts] [Bils Paid Out] on: August 07, 2013, 02:45:29 PM
There are only 3 possibilities -

1. Insanity is a  kid.
2. He is retarded
3  He is trolling

I cant figure out which one it is. Perhaps I should e-mail him at blobsrs@gmail.com with my questions and concerns.

the possibility #3 only occur if one of the first 2 is true, so, there's only two possibilities.

what surprise me is that you all are still giving him attention, and this is exactly what a kid want when he is doing things like that.

Come on, you can't say you didn't have a bit of a chuckle over this...
