KNS Nesletter:
"Since the Neptune was released it’s firmware has been updated and Neptune owners worldwide have been fine-tuning their settings to achieve maximum efficiency. Through this widespread deployment we’ve been able to gather info on how much power they consume in different environments, voltages and setups - and can conclude that the Neptune is the most efficient Bitcoin miner on the market today.

Here’s a comparison chart with the a few of the most talked-about hardware miners’ power requirements as reported by their users online - or - as stated/promised by it’s manufacturer (one may read such claims with a ”grain of salt”).

POWER (J/GH) - at-the-wall

0,57 J/GH - KNC Neptune - 1950 watts at 3400 GH/s (reported average)
0,62 J/GH - Bitfury BF3500 - 2200 watts, 3500 GH/s (stated, unconfirmed)
0,76 J/GH - Spondoolies SP30 - 3200 watts at 4200 GH/s (reported average)
0,77 J/GH - Antminer Bitmain S3 - 388 watts at 441 GH/s (reported average)
1,10 J/GH - Terraminer IV - 2200 watts @ 2000 GH/s (stated, unconfirmed)
1,20 J/GH - Avalon3 - 350 watts @ 290 GH/s (stated, unconfirmed)

”Reported average” = average real-world figures as reported by users.
”Stated” = as promised by it’s manufacturer, not sufficiently confirmed by user reports.

The Neptune Bitcoin Miner has actually reached even lower figures in specialized setups, as low as 0.43 J/GH, as reported by some of our customers."

They are so arrogantly full of shit :-)

Don't be lazy and go and research it. Youi should never believe what people say but always make an effort to research things yourself.  Most of people who keep up to date with bitcon news know that Bitfury has just opened another massive DC. Can't be arsed pointing you to articles you can easily google up yourself. Have you got 350 posts in your counter by ask pointless questions? (rethorical question)

It looks like newest Bitfury's DC has got probably 30 PH not 20 PH as it was claimed.

Hello, quick question regarding the SP30 installation:

Does it bring power cables?
Does it bring Ethernet cable?
Does it bring mounting ears and respective screws?

thx
I think you may need to get your own cables according to Dogie's review:

June 18 - June 29 was BitFury Georgian DC. 20MW deployment in 1.5 months. They've started in mid May.
What we see now is what George Kikvadze calls "Summer Surprise". It's their Icelandic DC.
I believe we can expect a continues cadence of 20 PH/s from BitFury every 2 months.

That's called GREED

Black Arrow removed my message about Hong Kong's Consumer Council sending me an e-mail and letter with confirmation of opening up the case against Black Arrow.

Now Black Arrow has just tried to blackmail me in private message. Here is the conversation. I've got print screens which I will upload online later.

Dear Customer,

What is your order number?

Regards!
Black Arrow

Me:

I will not provide you with my order details as you threatened forum members with consequences.

If you want t know my order number then you shall see it on the letter from Consumer Council regarding my complaint.

Black Arrow:

How can we ship your order first if you do not let us know what order you want to be shipped?
What kind of consequences can we threaten with?

Me:

I requested a refund two and a half months ago. I do not want the miner to be shipped now. It was supposed to be shipped in February. I'd like to receive my refund. The order number is stated in the letter and you can refer it to my refund request tickets submitted on https://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/support/index.php?

How can we refund if we do not know what order to refund?

Me:

Are you willing to refund it if I give you my order details. And if so when will you process the refund?

Black Arrow:

I need to look into your your order to answer to this question.

Me:

Sorry but that obviously means that you are not willing to process the refund. Sorry but I'm not stupid.
Once you confirm you will refund my order and when then I will give you the order number. I only ordered one X3 worth $6,028.15.
If you don't confirm then please refer yourself to the order on the letter from the council.

Regards,

Black Arrow:

If you do not wish to receive a refund that is up to you. We will ship your order then.

Me:

I've got a print screen of this conversation. I'm going to keep sharing it on the forum as long as it is required.
You have gone to far again. I won't tolerate your childish threats of refusing to refund my order. If you try to ignore my refund request by sending the miner you will ger your miner back and I will do the best I can for you to take consequences of this.
I will use the content of this conversation to support my claims against your comapany.

I dont see how its possible for them to refund everyone when they have already spent all the money?

How about the mountain of btc they sit on. You can easily track their wallet and see how much they've got.

They prefer to hoard it for themselves than sell it and process the refunds...

If AT still has not refunded the 60% you should try to get it back.

I have not been in this thread since I posted pissed off comment in January about them stealing 40% of my refund plus fee. Seeing all the crap here now Im really glad I got my refund before it was too late :-)
Haven't been that lucky with Black Arrow and Hashfast though

God I wish my roommate and I wouldn't have paid for our unit entirely with bitcoin!  Now all I can do is sit back and hope some sort of class action comes out of all this that I can join since I'm broke.  I was warned this pre-order business stuff was risky but I have to admit I wasn't even considering the possibility of not even receiving a unit.  Guess I've learned this lesson the hard way!

You can always send bunch of Eastern European buddies or debt collectors to sort them out :-)

Now, after communicating with XBtec, I am leaning towards BA again being the scum of the earth.  But not the whole organization.  It seems that a single or small group of people inside BA sold the list.  What a fucked up mess this is, I don't think XBtec is BA rebranded, they have been incredibly nice to me and have put some of my fears to rest about them stealing the list (which I no longer believe they did).  I would even be open to getting some of their products if they would ship to me first.

But, it worries me that a small group of BA employees are selling company info.  This has apparently gone unnoticed since BA seems surprised by this (but I wouldn't doubt they are acting and lying to cover up what they did).  Who else are they selling to, how much more information?  Perhaps XBtec would be open to telling us if they offered to sell any other information besides email addresses about their customers?

It seems that BA cannot handle their own employees who are looking to make a quick buck on the side.

I don't think that BA employees make up more than 1-2 people besides the director in the whole company ... :-)

I'm not sure if I understand your hosting offer.

"Costs for the hosting plan will be as follows:

    1 Month of free hosting
5 Months hosting for $310 each
    $100 Setup fees
    $150 Bulk shipping cost

The total for the above fees is $1,800 for a period of 6 months."

Does it mean that if I want 1 month free hosting I have to pay for the whole package?

If not, if I choose one month free hosting instead of free shipping, what is the shipping cost I would need to pay to have it shipped to UK?

I'd like to recommend this ancient Chinese formulated lubrication to all pre-order customers, it's the perfect companion to the Shenzhen Miner Fuck Machine V2.

Dear notbatman, we will give you a free bottle of lubricant if you come to Shenzhen personally to buy our Miner Fuck Machine V2. You even can choose one that fits you better. We have enough items in stock.

That's the type of response is very similiar to recent responses from Black Arrow.

I tell you guys, BA nad XBTec are the same people :-)

Goodluck sorting it out ,but could one of you please GIVE ME MY DAMN ORDER its been over half a year now.

Could you please stop trolling in this thread, go to a Black Arrow thread and there demand whatever you feel you deserve. I'm genuinely interested in what XBTec has to offer, but I'm getting bored reading Black Arrow nonsense here instead of some useful info.
XBTec is Black Arrow lol they stole/sold this information to/from themselves :-)
They are the same people :-)

I got my X1 miner today. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a setup guide with linking it to a pool etc?

I have managed to access the miner by finding the IP address from my routers attached devices but thats as far as I have got.

I have found the guide on Minersource not very helpful as the IP address on there didnt work and it doesnt say anything about adding pool details as the images on their guide are different to what I am seeing on the webpage.

Thanks
