461  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: November 17, 2023, 09:45:36 PM
I always wonder why these claims of laundering are so loud when it comes to crypto or decentralized no KYC services. To me, it is more of an excuse to demonize the freedom of privacy being promoted by platforms just as eXch.
Fiat currencies or banks are actually the biggest money laundering enablers we know.
462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why Localbitcoin take this action ? on: November 17, 2023, 09:02:12 AM
My first bitcoin buy from Local Bitcoin and it was my favorite p2p site. But I don't understand why and what is the main reason to closed buy/sell service by local bitcoin? Huh
All is not lost. They are actually better alternatives in terms of privacy because they don't ask for KYC yet. The only disadvantage is low liquidity, but if you really care about not handing over your KYC documents to many online platforms, they are the services to use for now.

Some have already been mentioned by other members, but let me list more
463  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto as wel on: November 17, 2023, 08:17:40 AM
I'm not sure if partnering with Visa means they partnered with PayPal though. This partnership term they use is also a bit misleading if, at the end of the day, they just registered their service so that they can use the Visa network to process transactions like any other debit card. CMIIW.
My bad... I actually made a mistake. I was supposed to type Visa, i don't know what was on my mind when i made the post yesterday.
464  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto as wel on: November 16, 2023, 01:27:44 PM
I would like to add on a new development here;

In the middle of the chaos involving the regulatory battle and having people's accounts suspended. Pyypl just decided to make an announcement that they have now partnered with PayPal Visa with not so much details ----> https://nitter.net/pyypl/status/1724706301949641118#m

I also receive a similar notification in my app.

I don't why they are trying to do with this. Trying to cool down the rage of their customers due to the recent service suspensions or the news is actually genuine?
465  Economy / Lending / Re: Help !! on: November 16, 2023, 12:39:56 PM
Tell your taxing body that they can deduct the taxes from the Bitcoin you are planning to withdraw, or you will file for the taxes once the cashing out is done. Not the other way round (Looking for money to pay taxes in order to withdraw the bitcoin)

No one is going to lend you Bitcoins here without any collateral, not even a satoshi.
466  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scam] Yas.bet refusing withdrawal after verification on: November 16, 2023, 11:00:26 AM
Yes, and we will share the information and reasons here for other users to know whats going on so please wait for results Thank you.
It's now over a month again and this guy has never come back here to update on the situation. If they were so confident that OP is a scammer, it should have taken about 24 hours to bring up an update. Something seems fishy here. I don't like to mess up people's accounts with negatives, but It looks like I may have to update my feedback from neutral to negative.
467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what and which are custodial and non custodial wallets. on: November 16, 2023, 10:50:21 AM
-snip-
I wouldn’t say these are the best Non custodial wallets but probably they are the some of the best out. Firstly the OKX included there is an exchange and not a non custodial wallet AFAIK. There also other wallets there that are not open source and that doesn’t make them one of the best. When recommending wallets that are open source and non custodial I will suggest wallets like
Bitcoin core
Electrum
Trezor
Passport
samourai
BlueWallet
Unstoppable

And any other wallet. OP should know that an open source wallet doesn’t mean it is immune to hack attack but rather the source code are open to the public to review and should the developers tried to temper with anything tech savvy people will be able to see it.

It looks like our friend Mr AirtelBuzz does not know English so well and also has no much knowledge about custodial and noncustodial wallets. He therefore decided to use AI to generate text for him to post here, and in the process he ended up posting wrong information.
This is why use of AI to make posts in the forum should be completely discouraged.
468  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mexc Stop Limit Error ? on: November 15, 2023, 09:49:14 PM
This is normal or "abnormal" in some exchange and trading pairs, especially if the market is volatile. In the recent days, XRP is known to have scam wicks that can trigger your stop limit order and get the order executed at a different market price.

Maybe this was the case… though you didn't present the problem well.

469  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Uniswap launches android wallet app on: November 15, 2023, 08:33:44 PM
What took them so long?

They should have introduced this app during the previous bull, when the platform's hype was still so high. One reason I have never fancied using Uniswap to trade was initially because of the insane ethereum gas fees, and then there is away I hate using the Ethereum copy-cat chains.

Thanks for your response Smiley I had emailed support@[banned mixer] and have got no response....
They sometimes take long to respond, but they usually solve the issues. The technical issues happen from time to time. Let's wait till this coming new week.

I wonder what the problem is. Do you have any recommendations for other genuine bitcoin tumblers you could recommend?
This List contains genuine mixers. The order in which they are listed does not matter. Just go through the list and check their fees and ANN threads to read about different reviews from members before you can use the service

471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Swedish Bitcoiners targeted by armed criminals on: November 11, 2023, 07:23:32 PM
P2p trading involving physical meet ups for hard cash is also dangerous
Less dangerous than handing out your KYC information to a variety of strangers on the internet.
Equally dangerous in a way that even if you meet in a public place that seems safe and  you carry out your transactions. The thugs pretending to be your trading partners will trail you and rob your Bitcoin or fiat at gun point when you are defenseless and in a secluded place.

I say this because i know some people who have fallen victim to this kind of robbery.
472  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: November 11, 2023, 07:15:24 PM
Is it a case of one having a large bruised ego or just some unapologetic immature spoilt kid behind the keyboard? Because, what the fuck have i just seen develop over the past few day?  Shocked

This Universe continues to surprise me just when i think i have seen it all.
473  Economy / Services / Re: Old trader offering here hedgefund service on: November 11, 2023, 05:43:27 PM
Sounds like a scam in a twisted language. I pity people who will fall for this type of thing.
No one is falling for this kind of bullshit in this forum. Maybe some really dumb and greedy guest user which I also very much doubt.
In the end, it's just OP wasting his time here with paragraphs of essays.
474  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] [banned mixer] - Bitcoin Mixer | Sig Campaign | Up to $150/W on: November 11, 2023, 12:38:10 AM
Can I still defend myself about this? I'm not going to delete this post but I will do what you need to prove myself that this is a mistake.
I haven't created any reputation thread against you and don't plan to unless if I discovered that you were cheating in a signature campaign or scamming. I can't guarantee other members will do the same. Having alts is OK. Trying to lie is not OK.

Why would you use Latviand's username, and yet he didn't apply in this campaign?
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT and virtual real state project the biggest scam in past 3 years? on: November 10, 2023, 09:58:16 PM
These scams always come up every bull run. We used to have ICO scams and then came ITOs, STOs etc. The previous round of bull market, we had DeFi, NFTs, Metaverse shitcoins, Meme tokens etc. Surely with another bull run coming up, the scammers are thinking of new creative ways to fool newbies
476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Swedish Bitcoiners targeted by armed criminals on: November 10, 2023, 09:50:51 PM
We are warning people to be careful of KYC but many did not answer, see armed criminals targeting bitcoin and other crypto users in Sweden.
And it's not just about KYC. People need to be private about their Bitcoin holdings. You can't be driving lambos, Riding super yachts claiming to be holding a stash of bitcoins, posting everything you do and locations you are going to on social media and think you will survive armed robberies
Those people put targets behind their backs, and maybe it's about time they get wake-up calls.

P2p trading involving physical meet ups for hard cash is also dangerous
477  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] [banned mixer] - Bitcoin Mixer | Sig Campaign | Up to $150/W on: November 10, 2023, 09:12:51 PM
Username: Latviand
Bitcoin SegWit Address: bc1q5up5yhjnz4pn3hkzktm53x2py9vzgx5ntzd08a
@CarnagexD, are you sure Latviand is your username, or you forgot to log out?

Xxmodded is another alt of yours, you got caught but then decided to lie about it but on realizing you made a mistake, you quickly deleted the post. Interesting case.
478  Economy / Services / Re: Old trader offering here hedgefund service on: November 10, 2023, 08:55:08 PM
Start with the $50 and then grow the account. If you can turn $1,000 to $40,000 after 40 weeks according to the projections then you can surely turn $50 to $2,000 and then procedure to turn it into $80,000 after another 40 weeks

The Markets are always there. They are not going anywhere, so why the rush?

Nobody is going to trust someone with a bad credit score or blew his account to Zero and now promises to be a better person without proof of results of his improved trading strategy.
479  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto as wel on: November 10, 2023, 08:32:03 PM
I think that it cannot be used everywhere and that this service supports only a few countries. I mean veryfing accounts.
I have seen many local users in my country using it and selling credits on it. I verified its status in my country and found that it is not available, meaning that accounts cannot be verified in my country, in addition to many other countries in which the application works. It is possible to create an account, but it is impossible to perform the authentication process. Local users create accounts from other countries to use locally.
I once saw in one of the articles that they would expand the scope of their services to more countries, and I do not know where they have reached in that regard.
Wait, so they allow you to register, but they reject your KYC documents on grounds that your Country is not supported? Then what's the point of let people from unsupported countries sign up in the first place?

This tweet shows that all member using the APP might be affected at this point in time - https://twitter.com/pyypl/status/1720472360766038045

Decentralized exchanges for you
------
https://hodlhodl.com/
I think most members here are mixing up a thing about a decentralized exchange and peer to peer exchange. HodlHodl is a p2p exchange but is not decentralized. Want to know how a true decentralized exchange works? Just download a bisq desktop add and run it.
