I now select what tokens to hold. I sell some and hold only those whose projects are already up and running. I have several tokens whose devs have abandoned the project or just dumped on everyone. I can't hold blindly anymore. If your project is operational to an extent then I will hold your tokens. If not, I will have to dump. Sorry to say.

XRP is one coin that is doing well however it cannot topple Ethereum or Bitcoin in future. I do not see it happening at all. XRP is easily manipulated because of its centralization as a cryptocurrency and that's why its always coming close to Eth

Cardano is a good coin to hold. But you have to be patient and might take a while for that to happen. As for me I prefer long term holding strategy. I am very busy and I don't have time to trade short term so I buy, keep and hodl for a long time

Anyone that works for you. Me I believe in doing both so as not to lose much. I sell part now and then hodl the rest. This way I don't lose out of the coin moons in future and I also don't lose much if the coin devs scam or run out of volume on exchanges

Of course it is very possible to predict the price of cryptocurrency but can only happen when the market is stable unlike now that we are in the deepest part of a bear storm.

That is because ICOs are changing direction. We now have IEOs which are fast gaining popularity and it is only a matter of time before huge projects start rolling out their own IEOs like the ICOs we had last year

Not everyone is saying Neo will surpass Ethereum. I for one, I have never believed that Neo has what it takes to go over Ethereum. Neo is an excellent blockchain no doubt but in terms of acceptability and popularity, Ethereum bosses it

When the market is on blood bath this is what I do;
I login to my exchanges
I hedge my most valuable portfolio to a stablecoin
I go for a vacation and forget about crypto for months
I come back after a long while and start shopping for quality coins that dipped during the blood bath
Rinse and repeat

Coming from you, I'd like to ask if you know where the real bottom is because I have bought really good projects at many so called "dips" that only plunged further below my buy price. This has discouraged me from buying any further lest I rekt myself

I have made my share of losses and gains in 2018 but I still have a truckload of assets invested pending when the projects really get running (IF the devs actually stay true to their word). 2019 is a year to double up on my hustles. Hodl less. Sell more.

Many ico projects that didn't hedge funds during the dip would have crashed by now as the budget would have been unattainable especially for those projects that struggled to meet their soft cap. But I think many of the ico projects dumped ETH and that's why were are where we are today

The crypto market needs new money to kickstart the bull run. When that money will come, we do not know. But we know is Crypto is getting more popular each day and its only a matter of time before the prices surge once more

I choose bounty like an investor. Seems I am not investing my money, I am investing my time and time is precious and should not be wasted doing worthless bounties. So I read the whitepaper and get familiar with the project and the team first before going deciding whether to do the bounty or not

At this stage I would advise you to focus on holding whatever will give you the best returns. I know some altcoins are doing well right now but there are so few of them.

People sell for different reasons. Maybe they need an emergency source of cash or they have found another reasonable investment elsewhere. So I won't blame them for selling their altcoins

Wonderful article from the OP. If I could I would have given you a Merit. However, are decentralized exchanges all that safe? I remember back in 2017 there was a hack on ether delta in which many investors lost their assets. Is there any 100% way to protect people's investment on dexs?

The year 2017 is a good example of how a bull run can revive even the most deadest of projects. I saw a coin on ForkDelta whose devs have abandoned the project start to moon again.

I think people who lose money do so thinking crypto is a get rich quick scheme. I also entered crypto as a newbie and it has changed my life for the better so I cannot say I lost my investment. I just adapted quickly and got used to the system
