461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: May 02, 2018, 12:45:42 PM
Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
For those who can't afford bitcoin it's better to take a luck on those new altcoins as the chances of pumping price will be higher than the increase of bitcoin price. Although we all know that it's too risky but if you will be cautious and do thorough research you can find a gem on those altcoins. Be patient and vigilant on your funds as scammers are everywhere.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Helbiz Predictions on: May 01, 2018, 02:27:36 PM
I don't know why people will blame those bounty hunters and airdrops owners once the price get dumps. To make a real ratio, bounty hunters got only 1 to 3% of the total token sales and those from air drop got 1k tokens each. The actual price was far from the projected price of the developer. I'm hoping that this will attract more buyers and make a good price soon.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is the most dominant? on: May 01, 2018, 05:54:03 AM
Why bitcoin is the most dominant among all crytocurrencies?
Is it because it is the first crytocurrency?
Is it because of its popularity?
Is it because of its value?
Please enlighten me.
I think it's because many investors trusted this currency as compared to those altcoins and now the popularity has been higher a bigger chances that this can attract more buyers or investors to join and take part of this currency.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency education in high school on: April 30, 2018, 01:25:35 PM
This high school in New Jersey is already teaching its students about cryptocurrencies.

(sniff)

This is a good sign that New Jersey truly believes in this technology as there young generations are now learning this at their younger age. I hope that here in my country the government officials could be open minded to follow them.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin volatility prevent adoption? on: April 30, 2018, 11:06:23 AM
Yes, that could be the main reason why bitcoin will not go mass adoption as currency. Although the volatility helps bitcoin to be popular and make a history about crypto currency and now people will use this as a digital assets as the price could rise up to a remarkable profits.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: April 30, 2018, 08:36:46 AM
I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.

yes, it is true. the bitcoin is long term investment, we can get alot benefit from it. by seeing this fluctuations today, I see, prefer hold and wait the price will rise. day to day trading you will get lesser of profit.
Panic sellers are always a losers as this technology is not appropriate for them. Maybe they need to shift to conventional investments that's not a volatile behavior. They just give the whales to do more manipulations as they can get easy money from those panic investors.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why not to invest in bitcoin? on: April 27, 2018, 12:40:35 PM
So there has been a lot of hype about bitcoin lately and I know it is revolutionary and has lots of advantages. But let's try to state the reasons why exactly do you personally think that bitcoin is not great and lacks in some points. I know it has great applications and is just great but it is not falwless right?
My question is simple and straight, What are the flaws of bitcoin?
Except its high volatility and "Dark use" (in illegal activities).
In my opinion, the manipulation of price could be the reason why other people would not invest in bitcoin. The price correction could be dangerous as we had no control to stop those investors who had dumps their coins to get their profits.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos in the green on: April 11, 2018, 12:19:03 PM
Especially bitcoin had faced too many big challenges, and also had overcome them. Guess it's not an unusual thing for bitcoin. Bitcoin will keep doing what it's meant to do.
Whatever the reason of those investors had dumps their coins, I hope it will be for the better of the crypto currency as we had more opportunity to look for and hope more new buyers will come that can hold and push the price to make a good rally. We just need to wait for that moment and stop complaining.
469  Economy / Speculation / Re: what would happen to bitcoin in near future? on: April 10, 2018, 11:46:48 PM
some says soon it will go up again, some says it will take years to recover.

What do you think and why?
no one can answer with certainty about how the future because there is no guidelines or rules that can be a benchmark of bitcoin with the price and the future
Yeah I agree on you as no one can ever predict the price of bitcoin. What we had right now will surely affects the future with regards to the effectiveness of this technology to a store digital assets. If people will continue to accept, then we can see this technology in the future with higher price. In my opinion, I think we need to push regulations to protect the investors from those scammers.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning BITCOIN Scam... Be Cautious! on: April 10, 2018, 12:20:19 PM
One of the Major Reasons why some Government sees Bitcoin as a threat to their country is because people might use it as an opportunity against some other people who wanted to earn and make a living. Just recently in the Philippines a couple was arrested because of scam, they uses a pyramid scheme and baited people to invest via electronic money. It started when Bitcoin is at its hype, giving them the chance to use it as front.

For our safety and security, please read this article and be aware. https://www.rappler.com/nation/199915-filipino-couple-amasses-millions-bitcoin-scam

Hope this could help everyone and let us be cautious. Earning money is not that easy as what other think of it. It requires patience, dedication, determination and focus to reach your goal.

I will rather blame those victims as irresponsible as they were blind with the higher interest rates in just few days... imagine who will be a legit business will give you that high interest rate. In the first place it smells fishy but they still continue and the bad part they invest more from there relatives money. I'm so sad as many people are blind in the sweet word that they will become rich in just setting at home.
471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $50K in 2018?! on: April 09, 2018, 03:00:22 PM
What do you think guys? check out this video and let me know about your opinion
Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HccyO-5YkE
Being optimistic is good as we aim high price for bitcoin but we had experienced the bloody correction as a results to strong rally we had last year and as far as I know we need more buyers to push the price to $50k which is not realistic on what we had right now. I will be glad to see the price returns to ATH at $20k which i think is possible.
472  Economy / Economics / Re: About real state of cryptos on: April 09, 2018, 01:34:17 PM
Bitcoin has been invented as a decentralize currency using p2p payment system without the use of middleman but due to volatility of bitcoin price this purpose has been change as more people will hold their coins in hopes that the price of bitcoin will rise in the future. Although some countries had been use bitcoin as mode of payments like Japan but making it in mainstream will takes time as this is subject to legality in every country. Let's wait how this technology works in coming years.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All coin values down and up with BTC! Is it good? on: April 08, 2018, 06:10:08 AM
It is quite clear that the all altcoin values rise up and goes down with the bitcoin. A clear indication of direct relation to the BTC value to the altcoins. Is it good for the coins or is it harmful for the market?
I think this is normal as bitcoin has been the barometer of the prices in crypto currency. Due to the popularity of bitcoin, most of the pairing on the exchanges had use bitcoin. Also in some exchanges you can buy bitcoin thru fiat or even credit cards.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin rise on: April 08, 2018, 04:26:14 AM
Everyday I see lots altcoins on Binance increase 10-40%, then I look at BTC dominance and it stays relativly the same around 44.3%. Are smaller altcoins just draining Ethereum, XRP, ADA, NEO and other big coins of their marketcap?
altcoins is only pumped up when they hit big exchanges like binance, upbit, bittrex.  Pumping will lasts for 2 days so better be on board before it went down again.
Yeah altcoins can be pump as low market cap coins will not need big amount of funds to make the price higher but somehow if you miss the train better not to buy and late ride as you will lose the chance when the price will drop after the pump.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 91,000 by 2020? on: April 07, 2018, 11:17:56 AM
Interesting predictions, which are not based on anything, just because they believe in crypto-currencies. I would not be so optimistic, anything can happen up to 2020.
It's good to be optimistic that bitcoin will survive in this bearish trends as the situation continues to spread blood at the market. Although speculating that the price will rise to $91k by 2020 is a pure speculation since no assurance that it will happen.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to sell all my btc as its too low now :( on: April 06, 2018, 11:46:11 AM
Hi guys me want suggestions

me planning to sell all my btc and wana buy etherium  ETH as btc is down 6.23 % in 24 hr and eth is down 10.68 % so me thinking best time to buy eth as it will grow

what says guys ?
You need to think it many times as you will sell it on losing price which is not ideal to take a gamble and buy ethereum which also in a downfall trend. You can recover your funds if you will do it. Just be patient and sell it once it goes little higher enough to get a profit.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Working for Bitcoin on: April 06, 2018, 10:39:19 AM
As a professional I work bitcoin as my part time job, discover this forum interesting and learned new things airdrops, bounty campaign, trading, different kinds of altcoin. Participating in the forum learn how to make quality posts and making proper interactions in the topic. Spread information about bitcoin so that many people know about this business.
Most of us here are doing a part time job in earning bitcoin by joining some signature campaign which I think a good idea to do it as bitcoin has unlimited opportunity if you had know how to deal with it.
478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin downtrend is limited. Here's why. on: April 05, 2018, 10:58:07 PM
I come to think that we can't fall massively below 5,000 dollars per BTC - if ever - unless some major whale - of the Mt. Gox trustee's scale - decides to cash out. I base my assumption on the premise that people who bought coins at high prices like over $12-$15k won't be selling at prices below some psychological limit because selling at such prices will be pointless and their only viable option will be to continue holding. So it is not just about demand building up, it is also as much about supply running dry at lower prices. That could potentially lead to less volatility, at least temporarily until a new long-term trend gets established.

If someone wants to sell their many bitcoin we can be lower than $5k as we had experience this is a volatile in nature and we had no control in every investors decision if they want to give blood in the market. This is a business with billions of money circulating at crypto and nobody wants to be a losser not unless a dumbass investor.
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: April 05, 2018, 02:10:30 PM
Hi,

Just wondering if you guys will stay in crypto (aka hold or sell your BTC holdings) if the price does not recover.

Lets say we are still around 6k-7k by December 2018 => Will you wait it out or give up and say "OK, we had a nice ride but we are not going up again"?

What about if in 2019 price is still hovering around 6k-7k and there is no sign of recovery to 10k+ (or even a new ATH)
There's so many reasons to stay and continue the journey in the crypto world. If this will not go up it doesn't mean that it already dead. The price can not recover in just a little rebound as this will take a long process to make a good rally. Be patient, it's good to be optimistic in this situation.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is back to 7k$ , bitcoin is rising again! on: April 05, 2018, 01:06:47 PM
It is a temporary rebounce after the dip. Not sure, if it will dip lower sometime soon or if it will go sideways from here. However, my guess is, that the next bull run will still take a while.
Yeah we need to wait for a good rally... although we are still at the bearish market as we can see a big dumps after a little rebound. I hope that this will not go down lower than $6k as we need more buyers to push the price back.
